Abstract

It comprises a very rigid fixed frame with two parallel, coplanar longitudinal members at the same height, one of which defines the optical axis for the laser-beam device located on a movable support crosspiece between them, actuated along the X axis by a motor/spindle/linear bearing device, whilst transverse displacement of the laser head on the crosspiece along the Y axis is effected by means of another transverse spindle/motor device. The support for the pieces to be cut consists of a movable frame with two positions, one being a working position and the other a position for loading/preparing/unloading the pieces. Applicable to the cutting of materials using laser beams.
