Abstract
A thimble-shape valve element (26) provides inlet and outlet valves, being located within a cylindrical section of the pump body. A pressure accumulation chamber is defined between the pump body and valve, defining an open connection with the chamber via spaced, flexible, extendable straps. - The straps interconnect the inlet and outlet valve, to allow part of the valve to move axially to an opening position for discharge. Either the pump piston (37) or valve element provides venting of the valve during inward reciprocal movement of the piston.
