EL ELECTRODO DE CORONA PUEDE COMPRENDER UNO O MAS ELEMENTOS FILIFORMES SITUADOS EN EL EJE DE SIMETRIA DEL FLUJO DE AIRE. SU EXTENSION ES SUBSTANCIALMENTE MENOR QUE LA DIMENSION TRANSVERSAL DE LA TRAYECTORIA DE FLUJO DE AIRE. EL ELEMENTO FILIFORME CARECE DE EXTREMOS LIBRES PARA EVITAR CONCENTRACIONES DE DESCARGA DE MAYOR INTENSIDAD EN DICHOS PUNTOS. SE DESCRIBEN VARIAS FORMAS DE ELECTRODO DE CORONA.
