Abstract

The system consists of applying a mixing heat exchanger at the outlet from a high-pressure snow cannon (gun). The cooling fluid is liquid nitrogen which, upon mixing with the fluid obtained at the exit from the snow cannon, causes said fluid to undergo a change of state, obtaining, as a result, artificially produced snow at the exit from the interchanger. The system is applicable for producing artificial snow independently of the environmental conditions of either the enclosed space or of the natural space, with characteristics very close to those found in nature and which is perfectly skiable.
