Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO Y DISPOSITIVO PARA RECONOCER EL ESTADO DE UN CATALIZADOR, EN EL QUE SE MODULA OBJETIVAMENTE EL VALOR LAMBDA DE LA MEZCLA, DE MANERA QUE SE AGRANDAN SUCESIVAMENTE LAS CANTIDADES DE EXCESO DE OXIGENO Y DE ESCASEZ DE OXIGENO QUE SE SUCEDEN PERIODICAMENTE. EL INSTANTE EN EL QUE EL EFECTO COMPENSADOR, VINCULADO CON LA CAPACIDAD DE ACUMULACION DE OXIGENO DEL CATALIZADOR, SOBRE LAS FLUCTUACIONES DE CONCENTRACION DE OXIGENO EN EL GAS DE ESCAPE NO ES YA SUFICIENTE PARA LA COMPENSACION DE DICHAS CANTIDADES AGRANDADAS, SE DETECTA MEDIANTE LA REACCION DE SALTO DE UNA SONDA LAMBDA DISPUESTA DETRAS DEL CATALIZADOR. EL INTERVALO DE TIEMPO ENTRE ESTE INSTANTE Y EL ARRANQUE DEL AUMENTO SE UTILIZA COMO MEDIDA PARA LA CAPACIDAD DE CONVERSION DEL CATALIZADOR.
