CONSTA DE UNA CAMARA DE TRATAMIENTO O HALOCAMARA (1), RECUBIERTA INTERIORMENTE POR UNA CAPA (2) DE CLORURO SODICO Y EN LA QUE HAN DE ALOJARSE LOS PACIENTES, EN GRUPO, DURANTE CADA SESION, RECIBIENDO ADEMAS DICHA HALOCAMARA (1) UNA CORRIENTE DE AIRE, CON PEQUE¥AS PARTICULAS DE CLORURO SODICO EN SUSPENSION, A TRAVES DE UNA SALIDA (4) Y A EXPENSAS DE UN EQUIPO GENERADOR DE AIRE ESTABLECIDO EN EL SENO DE UN ARMARIO (7), DOTADO DE MEDIOS FILTRANTES, QUE ENVIA UN CHORRO DE AIRE A UN RECIPIENTE (6) EN EL QUE SE INTRODUCE PREVIAMENTE LA DOSIS DE CLORURO SODICO, Y DESDE DONDE EL CLORURO SODICO ES ARRASTRADO POR EL AIRE HACIA UN DEPOSITO SUPERIOR (5) QUE MERCED A UN ENSANCHAMIENTO PROGRESIVO HACIA SU ZONA MEDIA DETERMINA QUE EN ESTA ZONA SE PRODUZCA LA NUEVA CAIDA DE LAS PARTICULAS PESADAS HACIA EL RECIPIENTE (6), MIENTRAS QUE LAS PARTICULAS DE SAL MAS FINAS SON ARRASTRADAS POR EL AIRE, EN FORMA DE AEROSOL, HACIA LA CAMARA (1), DONDE SON INHALADAS POR LOS PACIENTES.
