Abstract

Faldilla de guardabarros para automóviles y similares, que comprende una faldilla propiamente dicha de material flexible provista de un alma y de un ala de fijación, que se extiende hacia la parte superior a partir del alma para fijar la faldilla al borde de la carrocería de modo que el canto superior de este alma adopte el borde interior del ala de fijación curva o recta generalmente dirigible del interior hacia el exterior, así como de unos medios de fijación para agarrar o atornillar la faldilla sobre la carrocería o el guardabarros, caracterizada porque comprende, en al menos una de sus caras, un elemento de refuerzo en particular un elemento metálico previsto a la altura del canto superior del alma de la faldilla y del borde interior de ala de fijación, bordeando el canto superior de este elemento de refuerzo el borde superior del alma de la faldilla y el borde interior del ala de fijación, elemento de refuerzo al que se implica un cierto ángulo para, por una parte, conferir a la faldilla una posición casi vertical cualquiera que sea el radio de curvatura del guardabarros, y, por otra parte, para mantener la faldilla en un plano perpendicular al eje del vehículo durante su desplazamiento, y porque los medios de fijación en la zona del elemento de refuerzo estan constituidos de mordazas que pueden ser fijadas sobre éste o sobre la superficie de la faldilla que le está opuesta, estando dirigidas las superficies de estas mordazas sensiblemente de un modo perpendicular al plano de la faldilla.
