Un procedimiento de fabricación de electrodos para tubos de descargas eléctricas en particular electrodos constituídos por un soporte revestidos de uno o más cuerpos de emisión termiónica caracterizado porque se efectúa una desincrustación de los óxidos de superficie del electrodo y/o la fijación eventual de los cuerpos de emisión termiónica sobre el soporte de este electrodo con ayuda de bióxido de bario que se calienta de modo que se asegure simultáneamente su fusión y su reducción.
