Abstract

Perfeccionamiento relativo a los pistones para motores de combustión interna, referido específicamente a los pistones de construcción interna en que los asientos o cubos que soportan los extremos del pasador, además de formar parte de la camisa del pistón, están rebajados en apéndices simétricos proyectados de la cabeza del pistón, paralelos entre sí y sustancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal del pistón, caracterizado porque el dimensionamiento de los diversos detalles que constituyen el pistón y el pasador está determinado por las siguientes relaciones proporcionales: Relación entre el diámetro nominal del pistón y el diámetro del pasador está comprendida entre cuatro con tres y cinco; relación entre el diámetro nominal del pistón y la longitud máxima del alojamiento del pasador está comprendida entre uno con cuarenta y cinco y uno con nueve; relación entre el diámetro del pistón y la distancia entre los bordes interiores de los cubos está comprendida entre tres con cinco y seis; conel fin de reducir al mínimo los efectos relativos derivados del peso de las masas en función durante el funcionamiento del motor.
