Abstract
Electrical switch, characterized in that it includes a bridging element capable of being brought close to a pair of fixed contacts and away from them, elastic means for moving the bridging element away from said contacts and an actuating mechanism apt to bring the bridging element closer to said contacts and to allow the return thereof under the action of the elastic means, said actuator mechanism comprising a cam provided with angular movement, a limiter disposed between the cam and the bridging element, producing the angular movement of the cam in a direction approaching the limiter and the bridging element towards said contacts, a retainer subjected to an elastic load to cooperate with said limiter, said retainer cooperating with said limiter, when this has been brought closer to the contacts a predetermined distance, to prevent the limiter from away from the contacts, and cooperative means mounted on the cam and in the retainer of t to the shape that when the cam has been moved in the other direction in substantially its maximum travel, the detent is separated from the limiter to allow the bridging element and the limiter to move away from said contacts.
