Abstract
Una variedad nueva y diferente de melocotón, sustancialmente como el ilustrado y descrito, que se caracteriza por el crecimiento vigoroso y costumbres regulares de fructificación del árbol; y por su fruto, que es grande para su estación, y tiene un tinte rojo sobre la mitad de su superficie y una carne firme que permanece firme y dura en el árbol, de manera que únicamente son necesarias una o dos recolecciones, pero que se ablanda unos pocos días después de la recolección; y que entonces queda totalmente liberado del hueso en la mayoría del fruto; y que se parece mucho al Harmony (Patente de planta norteamericana nº 2152), pero que se distingue de la misma en que madura casi una semana antes, tiene más rojo en su piel y permanece firme durante más tiempo sobre el árbol.
