Abstract
Dispositivo protector para árboles, que esencialmente de caracteriza por integrarlo dos piezas complementarias e iguales, de planta semi-circular y sección en forma de canal, que en sus respectivos bordee extremos poseen medios de acoplamiento mutuo, a base de un machiembrado, formando un anillo, que se dispone alrededor del tronco del árbol a proteger contra hormigas y similares, con la cooperación de una masilla selladora, que llene el espacio anular limitado entre el perímetro del tronco y el borde interior del dispositivo, en el cual se vierte el líquido apropiado, mediante el que se atrapan todas las hormigas que ascendiendo por el tronco del árbol, traten de salvarlo.
