Una pequeña navaja compuesta esencialmente de una hoja afilada articulada convenientemente con dos piezas metálicas o de otro material, en forma de "U", de tal modo que para cerrar la navaja basta hacer girar sucesivamente las piezas en "U", hasta cubrir la hoja cortante; y, una vez cerrada para poner en estado de uso la navaja, basta deshacer los giros hechos anteriormente, pero siendo el primer giro hecho (o sea la primera pieza en "U" girada), el último que se ha de deshacer.
