OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a tablecloth or device covers, whose obvious purpose is to provide a device that prevents staining and deterioration of the table in its use.

The object of the invention is to provide a perfectly stable tablecloth or tablecloth, easy to clean, resistant and durable.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As is known, the tablecloths or mantelpieces that are used to protect the tables from spills of liquids, food or even the own climatological conditions, although they can be obtained from different materials more or less resistant, hydrophobic and easy to clean, present in all cases a problem related to the stability of the same when they are implanted on the corresponding table.

This problem is significantly increased when it comes to outdoor tables, where tablecloths are subject to gusts of wind, etc.

Thus, to avoid the unwanted displacement of the tablecloths or tablecloths are usually used clips that do not always adapt to the thickness of the table, being independent elements, which must be available, besides being totally anti-aesthetic.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The proposed console provides a completely satisfactory solution to the problem described above, based on a simple but effective solution.

For this, starting from the conventional structure of any tablecloth, of dimensions according to the dimensions of the table to be covered, whether rectangular, square, round or with any other configuration, the tablecloth of the invention centers its characteristics on the fact that affecting its edge defines a perimeter and internal chamber filled with a material in ballast functions.

This ballast causes the tablecloth to remain stable at all times, regardless of the environmental conditions that may exist.

More specifically, it has been foreseen that the ballasting material will preferably be sand, given its capacity to deform before any impact, either against the table or against the legs of the users, not ruling out any other material that can act as ballast, such as metal balls, pieces of rubber, etc., can even materialize in magnetized vinyl, in cases where the table has metal legs, which will further improve its stability, to be magnetically adhered to the table.

Optionally, the tablecloth could be assisted by loops or Velcro strips that allow its fixation to the legs of the table.

As for the material of the tablecloth, this could be obtained in any suitable material and usual in this type of devices, although it could preferentially be materialized in a hydrophobic acrylic canvas, resistant to environmental pollution, solid against wear caused by light and the atmospheric agents.

In a more complex variant of embodiment, it has been foreseen that the tablecloth is obtained from three interconnectable and unlinkable pieces, so that a central piece is defined, of dimensions according to the dimensions of the board of the table to be covered, and two side skirts provided on their free edge of the corresponding camera with its ballast,

that by its other edge they are linked and disengaged to the main piece through adhesive strips type velcro.

This allows the central piece to be easily washed, as it does not have ballasts or elements that complicate its folding and washing, a part that is also subject to a higher level of fouling.

It only remains to point out finally that, as is evident, the described device could present any type of decoration and / or advertising on its surface, without affecting the essence of the invention.

Figures 1 and 2 show two plan views of two of the multiple plant configurations that may have a canopy made in accordance with the object of the present invention.

is constituted from a laminar body (1-1 ') of plant configuration according to the type of table to which it is intended to adapt, duly oversized, with the particularity that at least on two of its opposite edges includes a longitudinal chamber (3) filled with ballast material.

As has been said before, this ballast causes the tablecloth to be maintained at all times stable and perfectly extended, regardless of the environmental conditions that may exist.

As for the ballasting material, this could be of very diverse indoles, the sand being the most suitable because of its deformation capacity in case of hitting, thus avoiding the damage of the tables (4), as well as the diners themselves.

Said ballast material could optionally be materialized in any ferromagnetic material in order to adhere to the legs of the table when these are metallic.

Also optionally, the desk could be assisted by loops or Velcro strips that allow its fixation to the legs of the table.

According to the variant embodiment of Figures 3 and 4, in a more complex variant embodiment, it has been foreseen that the tablecloth is obtained from three interconnectable and unlinkable pieces, so that a central piece is defined ( 5), of dimensions according to the dimensions of the table top (4) to be covered, and two side skirts (6) provided on its free edge with the corresponding chamber (3) with its ballast, which are linked at its other edge and disengage the main piece through adhesive strips type velcro (7).
