Device for opening doors by forcing them

TECHNICAL SECTOR

The present invention refers to a device that has been specially designed to facilitate the opening of doors in an emergency, such as a fire or the like, occupation, or simply loss of access keys.

The object of the invention is to provide a device that is easy to use, universal, effective and quick in its execution, which allows to act quickly in the event of any emergency and without the need to apply great efforts.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Although devices for opening locks on doors are known in the field of locksmithing, they are complex, expensive and difficult to handle devices if they are not in the hands of experts, so that the opening of a door can take a while important (especially if you have several locks), time that can determine life or death in an emergency, such as a fire.

Although rams are known to open doors quickly, this type of device also requires a certain degree of training and enormous strength from its users, contrary to what happens with the device of the invention, intended to be able to be used by untrained people and with any physical state of shape.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The device for the opening of doors by forcing them solves in a fully satisfactory way the problems previously exposed, based on a simple but highly effective solution, allowing all types of doors to be opened in a minimum of time, with little effort and without requiring special skills.

For this, and more specifically, the device of the invention is constituted from a telescopic bar formed by an outer tube in which an internal sliding tube is axially displaceable controlled by means of a spindle or screw, of manual or manual operation. motorized, arranged parallel and longitudinally to the bar, and connecting both tubes.

These tubes are finished off at their free end in wedges that fit between the door and the frame, and that will be arranged at the height of the door lock.

Once the device is blocked, a second spindle will be actuated (manually or motorized) linked to the outer tube in proximity to its free end, and which adopts a transverse arrangement to the tube, whose end rests on the door, and pushes it until causing its opening with the collaboration of a forceful striking element, such as a mallet or hammer, for which the device includes a reinforcement plate on which to strike.

To avoid that the device remains embedded in the door once it is opened, and complicates the entrance to the house in an emergency, it has been foreseen that it has a folding character, in which its hinge only allows it to be folded into the door. door opening direction, with a small movement of the device towards the outside.

Finally, it only remains to point out that the device can be combined with other equal devices if the door includes several locks, so that these are linked together from a vertical bar that joins both devices and that fits into respective protrusions in "U" shape or ring provided on the outer tube of the same.

In this way, an easy-to-use device is achieved, without the need for great skills and in which less force is required to open the door, all in a minimum of time.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the outlined figure, it can be seen how the device of the invention is constituted from a telescopic bar formed by an outer tube (1) in which a sliding inner tube (2) is axially displaceable, which is moved by means of a spindle or screw (3), located in a longitudinal position, that relates both tubes, being fixed to the outer tube (1) and responsible for axially moving the inner tube (2).

This spindle can be actuated manually or by means of a small motor, so that in the first case it will have a step per turn small enough so that the device can be actuated manually without having to apply great efforts.

Both tubes are finished off at their free end in wedges (4-4 ') destined to fit between the door (11) and the frame (10), remaining held in that position once adapted by deployment thereof by actuation of the spindle.

From this initial working position, by continuing to operate the spindle in the direction of deployment of the device, it will press on the frame, remaining firmly embedded, in a horizontal position (or vertically if it is arranged between the floor and the lintel of the frame of the door).

According to another of the characteristics of the invention, the device has been provided with a second screw or transverse screw (7) that passes through the device in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal screw arranged in proximity to the free end of the outer tube (1) , which will be arranged in opposition to the hinge area (12) of the door.

In parallel, the outer tube (1) includes a notch with a triangular section (5) hinged at its vertex (6), a vertex that will point towards the exterior of the house or room to which we want to force entry.

From this structuring, due to the effect of the longitudinal spindle (3) and thanks to the articulation or hinge associated with the triangular notch (5), the device will be forced to be arranged in a "v", pointing outwards and in tension.

With the device in this position, the transverse spindle (7) comes into action (which can also be manual or motorized), which will open the door when pressure is applied.

At this point, the forcing bar could be removed to access the interior since the door would be open, however in emergency situations such as a rescue during a fire, etc., speed in action is essential, in which case the way to proceed quickly enough is to hit the bar.

Thanks to the tension accumulated by the device in the forced position to which it had been brought, it is necessary to strike with little force so that the telescopic bar (1-2) falls to the ground, leaving access immediately free.

For greater effectiveness in this percussion on the telescopic bar, the outer tube (1) will have a reinforcement plate (8) near the triangular notch (5) where it can hit with a blunt object, such as a mallet or hammer.

As a complementary element, intended to force doors that have more than one lock, the outer tube (1) of the device will have on one of its faces a "U" -shaped protrusion (9).

A pair of forcing devices will be placed in these doors, with these protrusions facing each other, and between them a solid bar or tube housed at its ends in both "U" protrusions (9) is placed, so that the final action it is transmitted simultaneously to both bars, making the door jump just as easy.
