Abstract

1. Palillo antideslizante para cuerdas de cultivo del mejillón, del tipo de palillo plástico que se utiliza insertado en las cuerdas de cultivo suspendido de mejillones a fin de mejorar la sujeción de estos moluscos a las mismas durante su crecimiento, constituido por un cuerpo alargado de sección transversal en cruz, con dos lados cruzados perpendiculares (1 y 2) que conforman cuatro aristas laterales (3), que presentan un rebaje central a modo de escotadura rectangular (4) para facilitar su incrustación en las cuerdas, con nervios transversales (5) en esta parte central para dotar al palillo de resistencia, y que confluyen en los dos extremos en sendos vértices semiesféricos, conformando un sólido de revolución cilíndrico con tramos cónicos en los extremos, caracterizado porque las cuatro aristas laterales presentan un perfil dentado en toda su longitud horizontal, en forma de dientes de sierra (6), excepto en las escotaduras centrales, que facilitan la sujeción de los mejillones a los palillos a través de sus propias barbas, evitando que resbalen y caigan.
