Abstract

In the acoustic drums which are used nowadays, the fixing of the various percussion instruments to the frame or element which supports the assembly is done in various ways but in all cases a vibration loss occurs due to the rigidity of the fixing means which are used. The disclosed device consists essentially in using a cylindrical ring having a diameter which is slightly larger than that of the instrument box at mid-height thereof and providing said ring as well as the upper and lower parts of the box or the higher and lower rings of the instruments with special iron fittings acting as means for holding elastic bands which form an elastic and floating fixing network from said iron fittings to the central ring while forming triangles with vertices in said fixing points and the central ring.
