Abstract
This mechanism has a ring on either side of the frame and integral to the latter and arranged excentrically with respect to the axis, a base part for each pedal which joins the pedals to the rods permitting the sliding of the pedal along the rods, roller bearings arranged at a distance between each other and adjusted to the width of the ring. Due to the eccentricity of the ring with respect to the axes of pedalling, the length of the rod can be changed by extending said length to the maximum cycling effort position and reducing said length to the minimum cycling effort position.
