Abstract

1. Pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes, que con cualquier tamaño y configuración perimetral acorde para su interacoplamiento con otras piezas iguales o similares, se caracteriza porque presenta un cuerpo estratificado en el que participa una capa superior o exterior resistente, a base de cerámica, gres, mármol, granito u otro material similar, y una capa inferior o posterior a base de un material de con un alto coeficiente de aislamiento térmico-acústico, tal como corcho, espuma de poliuretano, entre otros, estando estas dos capas unidas entre sí.

Objeto de la invención
La presente invención se refiere a una pieza de recubrimiento, utilizable indistintamente para suelos o para paredes, que mostrando una superficie útil altamente resistente, como la de cualquier pieza convencional a base de cerámica, gres, mármoles, terrazos, granitos o similar, constituye un elemento aislante, tanto desde el punto de vista acústico como desde el punto de vista térmico, que transmite estas propiedades de aislamiento al recubrimiento en su conjunto.
Así pues, el objeto de la invención es conseguir una pieza de recubrimiento capaz de ofrecer las prestaciones de una pieza cerámica convencional, desde el punto de vista estético y de resistencia a posibles agentes exteriores, que además incorpore el efecto aislante anteriormente citado.
Antecedentes de la invención
Como es sabido, en el revestimiento de suelos se utilizan diferentes materiales en forma de placas o losetas, siendo uno de los más habituales la cerámica, en sus diferentes vertientes, por ser un material altamente resistente al desgaste y permitir una gama de diseños prácticamente ilimitada. Existen además para estas piezas infinidad de formas que van desde la configuración cuadrangular hasta combinaciones de bordes rectos y curvos, con el único condicionante de que el contorno de tales piezas , permita el acoplamiento coplanario de las mismas sin prácticamente solución de continuidad.
La alta resistencia de estas piezas, su posibilidad de lavado y otras prestaciones complementarias, hace que las mismas sean utilizadas también en determinadas situaciones para el recubrimiento de paredes.
Frente a las ventajas anteriormente citadas para las piezas cerámicas, éstas presentan como problema fundamental su alto grado de conductividad tanto térmica como acústica, de manera que este tipo de recubrimientos no resulta idóneo cuando se pretende aislar un habitáculo desde el punto de vista térmico y/o acústico.
En estos supuestos suelen utilizarse recubrimientos de madera, tales como parqué, tarima, etc., que por su propia naturaleza constituyen un buen aislante térmico-acústico, pero que sin embargo y en contrapartida presentan como problema fundamental su debilidad, frente a agentes exteriores, como por ejemplo frente a roces, humedad, etc.
Descripción de la invención
La pieza o recubrimiento que la invención propone, con unas prestaciones desde el punto de vista de resistencia mecánica similares a las de la cerámica convencional, ofrece también un alto grado de prestaciones desde el punto de vista de aislamiento térmico-acústico, como anteriormente se ha dicho y se verá más adelante.
Para ello y de forma más concreta dicha pieza, con cualquier tamaño y configuración en lo que a su contorno se refiere, presenta como especial particularidad el hecho de estar constituida mediante dos capas superpuestas, una capa superior o exterior y vista, cuya naturaleza se corresponde con la de una pieza tradicional a base de cerámica, gres, mármoles, terrazos, granito, etc. y una capa inferior o posterior, formal y dimensionalmente coincidente con la anteriormente citada, a base de corcho natural o un material de naturaleza térmica y acústicamente aislante, tal como corcho natural o aglomerado, espuma de poliuretano, etc.
Estas dos capas están unidas entre sí, formando un conjunto monopieza, con la colaboración de un medio intermedio de unión, en caso necesario. Por ejemplo, si el material de naturaleza aislante es corcho, la unión puede hacerse mediante adhesivos, siliconas o similares que además dependiendo de su naturaleza, puede someterse a un proceso de curado. Si el material de naturaleza aislante es espuma de poliuretano, dicha espuma puede inyectarse directamente sobre la capa superior o externa.
De esta manera la citada capa superior o exterior ofrece unas prestaciones similares a las de una pieza de recubrimiento convencional de naturaleza cerámica o similar, mientras que la capa de naturaleza aislante constituye una barrera aislante, tanto desde el punto de vista térmico como acústico, que queda protegida por la capa exterior o superior.
Descripción de los dibujos
Para complementar la descripción que se está realizando y con objeto de ayudar a una mejor comprensión de las características del invento, de acuerdo con un ejemplo preferente de realización práctica del mismo, se acompaña como parte integrante de dicha descripción, un juego de dibujos en donde con carácter ilustrativo y no limitativo, se ha representado lo siguiente:
La figura 1.- Muestra, según una representación esquemática en perspectiva, una pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes realizada de acuerdo con el objeto de la presente invención.
La figura 2.- Muestra un detalle parcial en sección transversal de la misma pieza.
Realización preferente de la invención
A la vista de las figuras reseñadas puede observarse como la pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes que la invención propone está constituida mediante un cuerpo estratificado en el que participa una capa superior o exterior (1), de grosor y naturaleza correspondientes con las de una pieza cerámica convencional o similar, que puede adoptar el contorno cuadrangular representado en la figura 1, por ser ésta la configuración típica de una pieza de recubrimiento, o cualquier otra configuración que se estime conveniente, sin que ello afecte en absoluto a la esencia de la invención. Esta capa superior puede ser prefabricada, a base de cerámica, mezclas de cemento, resinas, etc., o bien de piedra natural, tal como mármol, granito, etc.
La citada capa superior o exterior (1) se complementa con una capa inferior o posterior (2), a base de un material de naturaleza térmica y acústicamente aislante, tal como corcho natural, aglomerado de corcho, espuma de poliuretano o cualquier otro material con un alto grado de coeficiente de aislamiento tanto térmico como acústico.
Las dos capas (1) y (2) citadas se fijan definitivamente entre sí con la colaboración de una capa intermedia (3) de un adhesivo adecuado o bien mediante inyección directa de la capa (2) sobre la capa (1) formando un conjunto monopieza ligeramente sobredimensionado en espesor con respecto a una pieza de recubrimiento convencional, dado que, como se observa especialmente en la figura 2, la capa de corcho (2) es de espesor considerablemente menor que el de la capa cerámica (1).
A la hora de la utilización de la pieza de recubrimiento de la invención y tras la adecuada preparación de la superficie sobre la que ha de ser implantada, la definitiva fijación puede llevarse a cabo con la colaboración de un material, de características adecuadas para fijar la capa de naturaleza aislante (1) a dicha superficie.

Claims (4)

1. Pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes, que con cualquier tamaño y configuración perimetral acorde para su interacoplamiento con otras piezas iguales o similares, se caracteriza porque presenta un cuerpo estratificado en el que participa una capa superior o exterior resistente, a base de cerámica, gres, mármol, granito u otro material similar, y una capa inferior o posterior a base de un material de con un alto coeficiente de aislamiento térmico-acústico, tal como corcho, espuma de poliuretano, entre otros, estando estas dos capas unidas entre sí.
2. Pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes, según la reivindicación 1ª, se caracteriza porque las dos capas citadas están unidas entre sí mediante una sustancia adhesiva.
3. Pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes, según la reivindicación 1ª, se caracteriza porque la capa de material aislante se une a la capa resistente mediante inyección directa de dicha capa aislante sobre la capa resistente.
4. Pieza de recubrimiento para suelos y paredes, según reivindicación 1ª, caracterizada porque la capa superior o exterior presenta el espesor típico de una pieza cerámica convencional, mientras que la capa inferior o interna, la de corcho o similar, presenta un espesor, adecuado al nivel de aislamiento térmico-acústico perseguido.
