Definitions
- Dishwasher with at least one air outlet
- the present invention relates to a dishwasher with at least one air outlet for blowing out, in particular, moist air from a washing compartment in which crockery, glasses, cutlery and similar items to be washed can be processed, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention is based on the problem of achieving the greatest possible avoidance of water vapor impingement on surrounding furniture, the kitchen floor and front-side parts of the dishwasher with an attractive optical arrangement.
- At least one air outlet is arranged in the lower quarter of the height of the appliance, if water vapor rises from the air outlet, the dishwasher itself is first acted upon, so that part of the water can condense there and does not hit the furniture above.
- the air outlet extends as a slot outlet over at least two-thirds of the width of the dishwasher, a wide distribution of the escaping moisture and mixing with the drier outside air in the room is achieved. The escaping moist air is distributed in this way, and high moisture penetration into the furniture is avoided. Drafts are also significantly reduced thanks to the good distribution width of the air.
- the air outlet has at least one air guiding element for the targeted conveyance of air into the area in front of the front of the dishwasher, which applies a downward component to the outflowing air
- the warm air can rise in an area far in front of the fronts of the kitchen furniture , so that they remain protected from moisture. Due to the blow-out component downwards, the exiting air can initially be drawn in the area of the furniture panel, in particular also in the area of a front door of the dishwasher itself, from the furniture front, in particular from the front surface of the front door of the dishwasher, which is preferably equipped with a decorative panel or furniture panel, preferably also from the front lower edge of the front door and/or the superior decor or furniture panel, and only rise a few centimeters further outside the furniture due to its own heat.
- An air guide element can be formed very favorably by a wall that is present anyway and delimits the air outlet at the top. Then additional components are avoided, which simplifies the construction and reduces the cost of materials.
- the air outlet is arranged on the front side of the dishwasher facing a user and the air with one component at the front blows out, it is ensured that the moist air that is blown out cannot collect within a row of kitchen furniture, but instead reaches the outside in order to allow good distribution of the moisture contained there.
- the moist air that is blown out can, for example, under a door leaf protruding downwards into the base area, in particular the base recess space, of the dishwasher, which in particular is caused by a door leaf placed on the front of the front door Furniture plate or decorative panel is formed, are routed so that this door leaf, especially at its lower edge, remains free of moisture.
- the air guiding element can point downwards by at least four degrees towards the front and thus initially bring about a significant downward movement of the exiting air flow before it rises far in front of the furniture due to its heat. At the same time, however, the downward movement remains sufficiently small that the escaping air does not leave a damp spot on the floor that could cause a risk of slipping. In particular, therefore, the angular deviation of the air guiding element and thus of the air flow blown out from the horizontal remains less than ten degrees if the air outlet is arranged in the upper area of a base of a dishwasher standing on the floor.
- a wall delimiting the air outlet downwards can form a second air guiding element and, together with the first air guiding element, can form a blow-out duct several centimeters long pointing in the direction of the front side.
- a defined, essentially laminar air flow is then made possible.
- the second air guiding element can lie horizontally or rise slightly in order to achieve a nozzle effect by narrowing the outlet channel.
- the eventual slope of the second airfoil is less than the slope of the upper airfoil in order to maintain the downward component in any case.
- the blow-out channel is delimited overall by a plastic molded part. This can be in one piece, for example.
- the exhaust duct can have several guide ribs for the outflowing air, which guide ribs extend toward the front in the direction of flow, in order to achieve a diffuser effect with a uniform outflow of the air.
- a duct that is open at the top and extends over its width as an air flow equalizer, in which partial streams of air can be guided, which then run evenly through the entire duct.
- a front edge of the upwardly projecting duct can adjoin the downstream, essentially horizontally extending air outlet at an angle, which in this way takes up the widely distributed air from the duct and guides it out to the front.
- the partial flows in the mentioned duct are divided particularly favorably via an air distributor from a common air flow coming from the washing container. Only one supply line is then necessary, the division of the air only occurs when it enters the channel.
- the blow-out unit comprises an air duct which, in its final assembly position, protrudes in particular upwards and extends in the width direction, at the upper end of which the blow-out duct of the air outlet, which is in particular slot-shaped, extends to the front, and the one, in particular rear, connection has for an air supply line.
- the air duct is therefore lower, viewed in the height direction, ie below the blow-out duct which projects forwards or protrudes, in particular in the form of a slot.
- it is advantageously arranged in particular behind the front base panel of the dishwasher. In particular, it is releasably mounted on the rear wall.
- the hollow space of the air duct is preferably sealed airtight and/or watertight at its lower end, so that it forms a condensate collection tank in its lower region.
- the air distributor expediently begins in the preferably rear connection of the blow-out unit and extends via the preferably rear air inlet connected thereto into the air duct, which in particular projects upwards, expediently up to its front wall.
- the scavenging chamber air flow conveyed to the connection can be split into two partial flows, in particular a left-hand and a right-hand partial flow.
- the air outlet is at least 40 centimeters wide overall (in particular in relation to a household dishwasher with an appliance width of 60 cm), a very broad and even distribution of the moisture and the exiting air can be achieved.
- the width of the air outlet can take up almost the entire width of the device in a particularly favorable manner.
- the air outlet is designed as a flat slot outlet with a height to width ratio of less than 1:20, preferably between 1:20 and 1:200, preferably around 1:100 (in particular based on a domestic dishwasher with a width of 60 cm). .
- a high discharge surface can be achieved.
- the air outlet is very advantageously arranged on the front side of the dishwasher facing the user and blows the air out with one component to the front. In this way, the blown air flow, which generates little draft due to its wide distribution, is guided away from the kitchen furniture, and the accumulation of moisture in the installation space of kitchen furniture is then avoided. The air that escapes there and is often laden with moisture can mix quickly and over a large area with the drier outside air in the kitchen.
- the moist air can escape to the front far enough so as not to hit the kitchen floor or the front of the dishwasher, in particular a door, too much to apply moisture.
- the air flow that is blown out can initially flow out at an initial speed in a slightly falling direction and, at a distance in front of the dishwasher, experience a rising component due to its high heat.
- a high level of efficiency can be achieved if the air outlet can be controlled by at least one conveying element such as a fan wheel, which is arranged in the lower area of the dishwasher behind the air outlet in the depth direction. That The fan wheel or the like can then lie approximately at the same level as the air outlet itself and be arranged in a space-saving manner in the base of the dishwasher.
- at least one conveying element such as a fan wheel, which is arranged in the lower area of the dishwasher behind the air outlet in the depth direction. That The fan wheel or the like can then lie approximately at the same level as the air outlet itself and be arranged in a space-saving manner in the base of the dishwasher.
- the fan wheel or a similar conveying element can be controlled in a clocked or continuous manner, namely during the drying phase of the respective dishwashing program and/or also beyond the end of this drying phase over a period of several days.
- the household dishwasher can advantageously serve as storage furniture or storage for items to be washed, such as crockery, glasses, cutlery and the like, and these items to be washed and dried beforehand during the respective dishwashing program can be dried again and again in phases or continuously over a period of several days.
- the front door of the domestic dishwasher preferably remains closed both during the regular drying phase of the respective dishwashing program to be carried out and during a possible subsequent "storage function phase".
- This storage of items to be washed in the washing chamber of the washing compartment, preferably with the front door remaining closed, immediately after the end of the drying phase of the previously executed dishwashing program is referred to as the “storage function phase”.
- the conveying element can be controlled both for its operation during the drying phase of the respective dishwashing program and during any subsequent "storage function phase", if necessary via a moisture detection in the washing chamber of the washing container.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic perspective view diagonally from the front of an advantageous embodiment of a dishwasher, in particular a domestic dishwasher, preferably with a recessed base in the lower area, with a blow-out unit with an air outlet being arranged in the base recess space
- 2 shows a plan view of the blow-out unit of the dishwasher from FIG.
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view obliquely from above of the blow-out unit according to FIG. 2,
- FIG. 4 shows a partially sectioned view of the blow-out assembly, approximately corresponding to a view in section plane IV-IV in FIG. 3,
- FIG. 6 shows a schematic side view of the front area of the dishwasher with the installation position of the air outlet and the resulting air flow that is blown out to the front.
- the domestic appliance shown schematically in FIG. 1 is a dishwasher 1 here, specifically a domestic dishwasher.
- Other household appliances 1 with a drying function for the material to be processed can also be considered in principle for an embodiment according to the invention.
- washing liquor is understood to mean water that is fresh or, in particular, water that is circulating during operation, with or without cleaning agent and/or rinse aid and/or drying agent.
- the washing liquor has passed through an ion exchanger for softening.
- the rinsing liquor can also contain more or less dirt from ongoing operations.
- the washing container 2 can have an at least essentially rectangular outline with a front side V facing a user in the operating position. This Front V can form part of a kitchen front made of kitchen furniture standing next to each other or, in the case of a stand-alone appliance, can also be unrelated to other furniture.
- the rinsing chamber of the rinsing compartment 2 can be closed off by a front door or flap 3 in particular on this front side V.
- This front door 3 is shown in FIG. 1 in a partially open position and then in a position at an angle to the vertical. In its closed position, however, it stands upright and, according to the drawing, can be pivoted forwards and downwards in the direction of arrow 4 to its opening around a lower horizontal axis, so that it is at least almost horizontal in the fully open position.
- the front door 3 can be provided with a decorative panel or furniture panel 6 in order to be upgraded visually and/or haptically and/or to be adapted to the surrounding kitchen furniture.
- the dishwasher is designed here as a stand-alone or as a so-called. Partially integrated or as a fully integrated device. In the latter case, the device body G can also essentially end with the outer walls of the washing container 2 . A housing surrounding this on the outside can then be dispensed with.
- a base 12 for accommodating functional elements in particular, such as a pump for circulating the washing liquor, and also an air outlet 14, which will be described further below.
- the movable door 3 is assigned in its upper area a control panel 8 which extends in the transverse direction Q of the dishwasher and which can include an access opening 7 accessible from the front V for manually opening and/or closing the door 3 .
- the dishwasher In the transverse direction Q, the dishwasher often extends 45, 50 or 60 centimeters. In the depth direction T from the front V to the rear, the extension is often also around 60 centimeters. The values are not mandatory.
- the dishwasher 1 does not have to stand directly on a floor B, but can also be installed approximately at eye level within a piece of kitchen furniture, so that then the initially mentioned problem of drafts through an air outlet 14 must be given special attention.
- the washing compartment 2 is delimited all around by three fixed vertical walls 13 and two horizontal walls 13 , one of which forms a top (top) and another a bottom (bottom) of the washing compartment 2 .
- a left upright side wall 13 adjoins the front side V facing the user in the transverse direction Q to the left and a right upright side wall 13 to the right.
- the wall 13 forming the base of the washing compartment 2 and delimiting it essentially downwards lies approximately horizontally above the base 12, ie parallel to an outer base B on which the dishwasher 1 can stand.
- a higher installation for example at the height of a worktop, is also possible, as mentioned, in particular within a cupboard.
- the lower edge of the dishwasher 1 is then approximately 70 to 110 centimeters above the floor in the installed position.
- the dishwasher 1 is provided with at least one air outlet 14 for blowing out, in particular, humid air from the washing container 2 .
- This air outlet 14 can blow air, in particular moist air, out of the washing compartment of the washing compartment into the free air space on the front side V of the dishwasher 1 facing a user, so that the moist air is not introduced inside a kitchen unit and could cause damage there due to moisture.
- the blowing out of in particular humid washing room air by means of the air outlet 14 preferably takes place during the program-final drying phase of a dishwashing program to be carried out and/or during at least one additional drying phase of a chronologically subsequent “storage function phase”. In any case, the front door 3 remains closed.
- the air outlet 14 is part of a blow-out unit 15, which is shown overall in FIG. 2 by way of example.
- the blow-out unit 15 comprising the at least one air outlet 14 extends over at least half the width Q of the dishwasher 1, in particular more. With that one can achieve a particularly even distribution of the exiting air, so that drafts are minimized.
- the blow-out unit 15 can be made entirely of plastic. Furthermore, the air outlet 14 can be divided into a plurality of partial slits lying flush next to one another. They don't all have to be the same length. It is important that a broad air outlet 14 is created overall, which enables a high air throughput in order to achieve a broad distribution of the moisture contained in the air.
- the air outlet 14 is arranged here in the lower quarter of the appliance height and extends as a one-part or multi-part slot outlet over at least two thirds of the width Q of the dishwasher 1.
- the air outlet 14 is at least 40 centimeters wide. As can be seen clearly in FIGS. 2 and 3, it can also extend over almost the entire width Q of the dishwasher 1.
- At least one connection 26 located at the rear of the air outlet 14 is provided for conveying moist air from the washing compartment 2 into the air outlet 14 .
- An excess-length air supply line in particular a flexible connecting hose or a corrugated pipe, is preferably connected to the rear connection 26 of the blow-out unit 15 from the base 12, which supplies air from the washing chamber of the washing container to the connection 26.
- the air supply line LZ is indicated by dots in FIG.
- At least one conveying element such as a fan
- an air conveying element LF such as a fan
- the air supply line is connected with its upstream end to an air outlet opening which is provided in one of the boundary walls of the washing chamber, in particular in a wall, preferably a side wall, of the washing container.
- the air introduced through this connection 26 can first be supplied to an air distributor 16 which protrudes into the cross section of the connection 26, which is tubular in this case, and divides the air flow 17 approximately in the middle.
- the beginning of the air distributor 16 forms a narrow, upright rib 18, to the left and right of which partial flows 19, 20 are formed.
- the rib 18 transitions into a curved air guiding element 21 which, with its end facing away from the rib 18 , protrudes into a channel 22 which is arranged behind the air outlet 14 (ie facing away from the front side V).
- the duct 22 has a considerably greater height than the air outlet 14 and can have drains for condensed water on its underside—not shown here.
- the air guide element 21 widens in the channel 22 in plan view similar to a triangle with rounded sides and extends to a front channel wall 23. This ensures that the partial flows 19, 20 formed in the channel 22 do not mix again.
- the partial flows 19, 20 in the channel 22 are diametrically opposed to one another and run from the air distributor 16, which is ideally in the middle with respect to the transverse direction Q, to almost both outer walls of the dishwasher 1.
- the partial flows 19, 20 have a sufficiently high speed to move on their opposite paths to maintain approximately uniform density through the duct 22 before the air is allowed to exit therefrom with an upward and forward component, as described below:
- the above Channel 22 extends parallel to the air outlet 14 in the width direction Q of the dishwasher 1.
- the air distributor 16 is held at least partially in a plane below the air outlet 14 with respect to the vertical height H of the dishwasher 1, as is the channel 22 into which the air distributor 16 is funded.
- the air from the air distributor 16 therefore does not escape directly through the air outlet 14, but first passes through the duct 22 in both directions with its partial flows 19, 20.
- the air in the duct 22 that is open at the top is pushed out upwards again and again and, because of the upper baffle 24 , then only has the chance to flow laterally into the air outlet 14 .
- the duct 22 is open at the top and an upright front duct wall 23 is angled to the horizontally extending air outlet 14 adjoins, which ideally has the same extent in the width direction Q as the channel 22, in particular at least 40 centimeters.
- the air outlet 14 one or more parts—according to FIG.
- its height in the vertical direction H is less than approximately 2 centimeters. It is then ensured that, on the one hand, little installation space is taken up in the vertical direction H, and on the other hand, the overall extension of the air outlet 14 is large enough to discharge a large volume and thus keep the draft very low.
- the air outlet 14 has at least one air guiding element 24 for the targeted conveyance of air into the area in front of the front V of the dishwasher 1, which applies a downward component to the outflowing air (28).
- the air guiding element 24 extends in one piece over the entire width of the air outlet 14, which is not mandatory.
- it is formed by a wall delimiting the air outlet 14 at the top and therefore does not require a separate component, which improves production and durability. A high level of stability is achieved.
- the air outlet 14 is arranged on the front side V of the dishwasher 1 facing a user and blows the air 28 out with a component towards the front V.
- the air guiding element 24 points downwards by at least two degrees toward the front side V.
- the slope can also be greater and point downwards by at least four degrees.
- blow-out channel 26 of several centimeters (typically about 5 to 8 Centimeters) length forms, as can be seen well in Figure 5, for example.
- the blow-out channel 26 can be delimited overall by a frame-like plastic molded part, but other materials are also fundamentally possible. If, for example, an injection molded part is provided, the blow-out channel 26 can be provided here on the underside with a plurality of guide ribs 27 for the outflowing air 28, which ribs extend in the direction of flow toward the front side V. This leads to a diffuser effect with largely laminar air components flowing out towards the front side V in the moist, warm air stream 28 that is blown out.
- the air outlet 14 with the exhaust duct 26 extending forward V can also overlap a panel 5 which is clearly recessed in relation to a door 3 and closes a base 12 towards the front and, in relation to this, at least equidistant to the Front V protrudes.
- the panel 5 itself is not exposed to moisture.
- this due to the downward component in the blown-out air flow 28 introduced via the air guiding element 24, this is also passed under the door 3 which protrudes further towards the front V (e.g. 5 to 10 centimetres) without, for example, wetting the front decorative element 6z there.
- the airflow is transported 28 to a few centimeters further forward V before it can rise due to the higher intrinsic heat compared to the surrounding kitchen air. However, it is far enough away from the furniture fronts. At the same time, because the air guiding element 24 has only a slight incline, wetting of the floor B is likewise avoided. The wide extension of the air outlet 14 also prevents annoying drafts.
- a dishwasher with the following advantageously designed blow-out unit 15 for mounting on a plinth panel 5, in particular floor plinth panel, can be advantageous in particular:
- the air distributor 16 of the blow-out unit 15 is assigned to the connection 26 on the inlet side and/or arranged downstream of this in the direction of flow. It is arranged in front of the slit-shaped exhaust channel of the air outlet 14 .
- This air distributor 16 preferably divides the rinsing chamber air flow conveyed to the connection 26 into a partial flow on the left and a partial flow on the right. The left-hand partial flow is fed into the left-hand section and the right-hand partial flow is fed into a right-hand partial section of the upwardly projecting air duct 22 fed.
- This air duct 22 is arranged in front of the slit-shaped blow-out duct of the air outlet 14 when viewed in the direction of flow.
- the air outlet Viewed in the vertical direction, it is preferably lower than the air outlet. It preferably extends essentially over the same width as the exhaust channel. In particular, its upper end is connected to the entrance of the exhaust duct extending forward over its entire width (seen from the front).
- the air inlet with the connection 26 is preferably provided approximately in the middle of the width extension of the air duct 22 in its rear wall.
- the upwardly projecting air duct 22 can thus advantageously function as a condensation area.
- the hollow space of the air duct 22 is preferably sealed airtight and/or watertight at its lower end, so that it forms a condensate collection tank in its lower region.
- the air distributor 16 ensures that, viewed from the front, a partial flow on the left-hand side of the scavenging chamber air flow conveyed to the connection 26 on the inlet side reaches the left-hand half of the air duct 22 preceding the air outlet 14 and protruding upwards and the left-hand half of the forward-reaching, duct of air outlet 14 extending in the width or transverse direction, and a partial flow on the right-hand side of the rinsing chamber air flow conveyed to connection 26 on the inlet side, acts on the right-hand half of the air duct projecting upwards and the adjoining, right-hand half of the blow-out duct of air outlet 14, which extends forward, if the air inlet with the connection for the air supply line is provided, viewed in the transverse direction, in particular approximately centrally on the rear side of the air duct that projects upwards.
- connection on the inlet side, the air distributor 16, the air duct 22 projecting upwards, and the slit-shaped blow-out duct of the air outlet 14 are components of the blow-out unit 15.
- This can in particular be designed in one piece or in one piece. It can preferably be made of plastic.
- the blow-out unit 15 designed in this way is - e.g. as shown schematically in a side view in Figure 6 - on a front panel 5, in particular a floor base panel, which preferably has any existing base recess space of the dishwasher except for an upper one, between the lower edge of any with a Decor or furniture panel stocked front door 3 and the top edge of the panel 5 freely seals the gap that remains, can be installed cheaply.
- its upwardly protruding air duct 22 (when viewed from the front in the depth direction) is expediently arranged behind the back of the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, while the slot-shaped exhaust duct of its air outlet 14 overhangs the upper edge of the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, in particular on it rests.
- the air duct 22 is thus covered by the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, ie it is not visible from the front. Due to the slot shape of the exhaust duct, this is hardly noticeable from the front on the upper edge of the front panel, especially on the floor or base panel.
- a dishwasher 1 designed according to the principle according to the invention can not only carry out the final drying phase of a respective dishwasher program to be carried out, but can also be provided with a so-called "storage function" if required, which makes it possible for the items to be washed to be stored in the washing compartment 2 after processing remains without getting wet again. This retention can last for several days without the dryness of the items to be washed deteriorating.
- the dishwasher 1 then also serves as a storage and drying cabinet from which the items to be washed can be removed fresh and dry.
- the conveying element can be controlled in a clocked manner.
- the conveying element is controlled via a moisture sensor system, which provides a measure of the current moisture content of items to be washed in the washing compartment.
- the conveyor element is only switched on every now and then in order to repeatedly convey moist air out of the washing compartment 2 and thus to preserve the quality of the cleaning of the items to be washed, even over a longer period of time. Due to the only low effective running times, the energy requirement is low—as is the noise level from the at least one fan wheel or similar conveying element. However, it may also be advantageous if the conveying element is operated continuously with air to be blown out, in particular washing room air, during the drying phase of the respective dishwashing program and/or during the entire duration of any subsequent "storage function phase" and/or another operating phase of the household dishwasher .

Abstract
Description
Geschirrspülmaschine mit zumindest einem Luftauslass Dishwasher with at least one air outlet
The present invention relates to a dishwasher with at least one air outlet for blowing out, in particular, moist air from a washing compartment in which crockery, glasses, cutlery and similar items to be washed can be processed, according to the preamble of claim 1.
In dishwashers of this type, it is desirable for the items to be washed to be as completely dried as possible and to be able to be removed from the washing compartment without water stains.
For a good drying result for crockery, glasses, cutlery and similar items that can be processed in a washing compartment, it is advantageous for good drying to be able to remove moist air from the washing compartment. It is therefore known to connect the rinsing container to an air outlet which transports humid air out of the rinsing container to the outside environment. Such an air outlet is often located at the top of a front door that can be opened and closed. Supplying air to this moving unit is therefore relatively complex and expensive, and the high arrangement in the appliance also poses the risk of cabinets or worktops located above the dishwasher or parts of the dishwasher and their panels being damaged by the large amount of escaping moisture or that the kitchen floor in front of the dishwasher gets wet and therefore slippery. In addition, in the vicinity of such an air outlet, there is a significant draft phenomenon, which is very uncomfortable, especially in small kitchens where users sit close to a dishwasher.
The invention is based on the problem of achieving the greatest possible avoidance of water vapor impingement on surrounding furniture, the kitchen floor and front-side parts of the dishwasher with an attractive optical arrangement.
The invention solves this problem with a dishwasher having the features of claim 1. With regard to advantageous configurations and developments of the invention, reference is made to claims 2 to 13. Insofar as spatial and/or local information is given within the scope of the invention, this is preferably to be understood from a point of view that a user assumes when using and/or operating the household dishwasher according to the invention when it is installed or installed ready for operation.
Because, according to the invention, at least one air outlet is arranged in the lower quarter of the height of the appliance, if water vapor rises from the air outlet, the dishwasher itself is first acted upon, so that part of the water can condense there and does not hit the furniture above. In addition, because the air outlet extends as a slot outlet over at least two-thirds of the width of the dishwasher, a wide distribution of the escaping moisture and mixing with the drier outside air in the room is achieved. The escaping moist air is distributed in this way, and high moisture penetration into the furniture is avoided. Drafts are also significantly reduced thanks to the good distribution width of the air. Because the air outlet has at least one air guiding element for the targeted conveyance of air into the area in front of the front of the dishwasher, which applies a downward component to the outflowing air, the warm air can rise in an area far in front of the fronts of the kitchen furniture , so that they remain protected from moisture.
An air guide element can be formed very favorably by a wall that is present anyway and delimits the air outlet at the top. Then additional components are avoided, which simplifies the construction and reduces the cost of materials.
Provided that the air outlet is arranged on the front side of the dishwasher facing a user and the air with one component at the front blows out, it is ensured that the moist air that is blown out cannot collect within a row of kitchen furniture, but instead reaches the outside in order to allow good distribution of the moisture contained there.
If the air guiding element advantageously points downwards by at least two degrees towards the front compared to the horizontal, the moist air that is blown out can, for example, under a door leaf protruding downwards into the base area, in particular the base recess space, of the dishwasher, which in particular is caused by a door leaf placed on the front of the front door Furniture plate or decorative panel is formed, are routed so that this door leaf, especially at its lower edge, remains free of moisture.
In particular, the air guiding element can point downwards by at least four degrees towards the front and thus initially bring about a significant downward movement of the exiting air flow before it rises far in front of the furniture due to its heat.
For the outer delimitation of the air flow, a wall delimiting the air outlet downwards can form a second air guiding element and, together with the first air guiding element, can form a blow-out duct several centimeters long pointing in the direction of the front side. A defined, essentially laminar air flow is then made possible. The second air guiding element can lie horizontally or rise slightly in order to achieve a nozzle effect by narrowing the outlet channel. However, the eventual slope of the second airfoil is less than the slope of the upper airfoil in order to maintain the downward component in any case.
In terms of manufacturing technology, the blow-out channel is delimited overall by a plastic molded part. This can be in one piece, for example. Furthermore, the exhaust duct can have several guide ribs for the outflowing air, which guide ribs extend toward the front in the direction of flow, in order to achieve a diffuser effect with a uniform outflow of the air.
Very favorably, at the rear of the air outlet, there is a duct that is open at the top and extends over its width as an air flow equalizer, in which partial streams of air can be guided, which then run evenly through the entire duct. A front edge of the upwardly projecting duct can adjoin the downstream, essentially horizontally extending air outlet at an angle, which in this way takes up the widely distributed air from the duct and guides it out to the front.
The partial flows in the mentioned duct are divided particularly favorably via an air distributor from a common air flow coming from the washing container. Only one supply line is then necessary, the division of the air only occurs when it enters the channel.
Preferably, the blow-out unit comprises an air duct which, in its final assembly position, protrudes in particular upwards and extends in the width direction, at the upper end of which the blow-out duct of the air outlet, which is in particular slot-shaped, extends to the front, and the one, in particular rear, connection has for an air supply line. In the final assembly position of the blow-out unit, the air duct is therefore lower, viewed in the height direction, ie below the blow-out duct which projects forwards or protrudes, in particular in the form of a slot. In the final assembly position of the blow-out unit, it is advantageously arranged in particular behind the front base panel of the dishwasher. In particular, it is releasably mounted on the rear wall. The hollow space of the air duct is preferably sealed airtight and/or watertight at its lower end, so that it forms a condensate collection tank in its lower region. The air distributor expediently begins in the preferably rear connection of the blow-out unit and extends via the preferably rear air inlet connected thereto into the air duct, which in particular projects upwards, expediently up to its front wall. As a result, the scavenging chamber air flow conveyed to the connection can be split into two partial flows, in particular a left-hand and a right-hand partial flow. If the air outlet is at least 40 centimeters wide overall (in particular in relation to a household dishwasher with an appliance width of 60 cm), a very broad and even distribution of the moisture and the exiting air can be achieved. The width of the air outlet can take up almost the entire width of the device in a particularly favorable manner.
In particular, the air outlet is designed as a flat slot outlet with a height to width ratio of less than 1:20, preferably between 1:20 and 1:200, preferably around 1:100 (in particular based on a domestic dishwasher with a width of 60 cm). . Despite the structurally and optically very low height, a high discharge surface can be achieved.
The air outlet is very advantageously arranged on the front side of the dishwasher facing the user and blows the air out with one component to the front.
If the air outlet overlaps a panel (plinth panel) that closes a plinth at the front and protrudes at least the same distance towards the front, the moist air can escape to the front far enough so as not to hit the kitchen floor or the front of the dishwasher, in particular a door, too much to apply moisture. The air flow that is blown out can initially flow out at an initial speed in a slightly falling direction and, at a distance in front of the dishwasher, experience a rising component due to its high heat.
A high level of efficiency can be achieved if the air outlet can be controlled by at least one conveying element such as a fan wheel, which is arranged in the lower area of the dishwasher behind the air outlet in the depth direction. That The fan wheel or the like can then lie approximately at the same level as the air outlet itself and be arranged in a space-saving manner in the base of the dishwasher.
A favorable further development of the invention provides that the fan wheel or a similar conveying element can be controlled in a clocked or continuous manner, namely during the drying phase of the respective dishwashing program and/or also beyond the end of this drying phase over a period of several days. In the latter case, the household dishwasher can advantageously serve as storage furniture or storage for items to be washed, such as crockery, glasses, cutlery and the like, and these items to be washed and dried beforehand during the respective dishwashing program can be dried again and again in phases or continuously over a period of several days. In this case, the front door of the domestic dishwasher preferably remains closed both during the regular drying phase of the respective dishwashing program to be carried out and during a possible subsequent "storage function phase". This storage of items to be washed in the washing chamber of the washing compartment, preferably with the front door remaining closed, immediately after the end of the drying phase of the previously executed dishwashing program is referred to as the “storage function phase”. The conveying element can be controlled both for its operation during the drying phase of the respective dishwashing program and during any subsequent "storage function phase", if necessary via a moisture detection in the washing chamber of the washing container.
The domestic appliance shown schematically in FIG. 1 is a dishwasher 1 here, specifically a domestic dishwasher. Other household appliances 1 with a drying function for the material to be processed can also be considered in principle for an embodiment according to the invention.
The domestic dishwasher 1 described below according to FIG. The items to be washed can be held, for example, in crockery baskets 11 and/or a cutlery drawer 10 and can be acted upon by so-called washing liquor. Washing liquor is understood to mean water that is fresh or, in particular, water that is circulating during operation, with or without cleaning agent and/or rinse aid and/or drying agent. In particular, the washing liquor has passed through an ion exchanger for softening. The rinsing liquor can also contain more or less dirt from ongoing operations. The washing container 2 can have an at least essentially rectangular outline with a front side V facing a user in the operating position. This Front V can form part of a kitchen front made of kitchen furniture standing next to each other or, in the case of a stand-alone appliance, can also be unrelated to other furniture.
The rinsing chamber of the rinsing compartment 2 can be closed off by a front door or flap 3 in particular on this front side V. This front door 3 is shown in FIG.
On the outer and front side V of the dishwasher 1, which is vertical in the closed position and faces the user, the front door 3 can be provided with a decorative panel or furniture panel 6 in order to be upgraded visually and/or haptically and/or to be adapted to the surrounding kitchen furniture.
The dishwasher is designed here as a stand-alone or as a so-called. Partially integrated or as a fully integrated device. In the latter case, the device body G can also essentially end with the outer walls of the washing container 2 . A housing surrounding this on the outside can then be dispensed with. In the lower area of the dishwasher there can be a base 12 for accommodating functional elements in particular, such as a pump for circulating the washing liquor, and also an air outlet 14, which will be described further below.
In the exemplary embodiment according to the drawing, the movable door 3 is assigned in its upper area a control panel 8 which extends in the transverse direction Q of the dishwasher and which can include an access opening 7 accessible from the front V for manually opening and/or closing the door 3 . In the transverse direction Q, the dishwasher often extends 45, 50 or 60 centimeters. In the depth direction T from the front V to the rear, the extension is often also around 60 centimeters. The values are not mandatory. Also, the dishwasher 1 does not have to stand directly on a floor B, but can also be installed approximately at eye level within a piece of kitchen furniture, so that then the initially mentioned problem of drafts through an air outlet 14 must be given special attention.
When the door or flap 3 is closed, the washing compartment 2 is delimited all around by three fixed vertical walls 13 and two horizontal walls 13 , one of which forms a top (top) and another a bottom (bottom) of the washing compartment 2 . A left upright side wall 13 adjoins the front side V facing the user in the transverse direction Q to the left and a right upright side wall 13 to the right.
The wall 13 forming the base of the washing compartment 2 and delimiting it essentially downwards lies approximately horizontally above the base 12, ie parallel to an outer base B on which the dishwasher 1 can stand. A higher installation, for example at the height of a worktop, is also possible, as mentioned, in particular within a cupboard. The lower edge of the dishwasher 1 is then approximately 70 to 110 centimeters above the floor in the installed position.
The dishwasher 1 is provided with at least one air outlet 14 for blowing out, in particular, humid air from the washing container 2 . This air outlet 14 can blow air, in particular moist air, out of the washing compartment of the washing compartment into the free air space on the front side V of the dishwasher 1 facing a user, so that the moist air is not introduced inside a kitchen unit and could cause damage there due to moisture. The blowing out of in particular humid washing room air by means of the air outlet 14 preferably takes place during the program-final drying phase of a dishwashing program to be carried out and/or during at least one additional drying phase of a chronologically subsequent “storage function phase”. In any case, the front door 3 remains closed.
The air outlet 14 is part of a blow-out unit 15, which is shown overall in FIG. 2 by way of example. The blow-out unit 15 comprising the at least one air outlet 14 extends over at least half the width Q of the dishwasher 1, in particular more. With that one can achieve a particularly even distribution of the exiting air, so that drafts are minimized.
The blow-out unit 15 can be made entirely of plastic. Furthermore, the air outlet 14 can be divided into a plurality of partial slits lying flush next to one another. They don't all have to be the same length. It is important that a broad air outlet 14 is created overall, which enables a high air throughput in order to achieve a broad distribution of the moisture contained in the air.
The air outlet 14 is arranged here in the lower quarter of the appliance height and extends as a one-part or multi-part slot outlet over at least two thirds of the width Q of the dishwasher 1. In particular, the air outlet 14 is at least 40 centimeters wide. As can be seen clearly in FIGS. 2 and 3, it can also extend over almost the entire width Q of the dishwasher 1. At least one connection 26 located at the rear of the air outlet 14 is provided for conveying moist air from the washing compartment 2 into the air outlet 14 . An excess-length air supply line, in particular a flexible connecting hose or a corrugated pipe, is preferably connected to the rear connection 26 of the blow-out unit 15 from the base 12, which supplies air from the washing chamber of the washing container to the connection 26. The air supply line LZ is indicated by dots in FIG.
At least one conveying element, such as a fan, can be provided in or in front of its connection 26, which can be controlled continuously and/or clocked, also via a period of several days. In FIG. 2, an air conveying element LF, such as a fan, is inserted in the air supply line LZ. It is only shown schematically in FIG. 2 as a dotted rectangle. The air supply line is connected with its upstream end to an air outlet opening which is provided in one of the boundary walls of the washing chamber, in particular in a wall, preferably a side wall, of the washing container.
The air introduced through this connection 26 can first be supplied to an air distributor 16 which protrudes into the cross section of the connection 26, which is tubular in this case, and divides the air flow 17 approximately in the middle. In particular, the beginning of the air distributor 16 forms a narrow, upright rib 18, to the left and right of which partial flows 19, 20 are formed.
The rib 18 transitions into a curved air guiding element 21 which, with its end facing away from the rib 18 , protrudes into a channel 22 which is arranged behind the air outlet 14 (ie facing away from the front side V). The duct 22 has a considerably greater height than the air outlet 14 and can have drains for condensed water on its underside—not shown here. The air guide element 21 widens in the channel 22 in plan view similar to a triangle with rounded sides and extends to a front channel wall 23. This ensures that the partial flows 19, 20 formed in the channel 22 do not mix again.
The partial flows 19, 20 have a sufficiently high speed to move on their opposite paths to maintain approximately uniform density through the duct 22 before the air is allowed to exit therefrom with an upward and forward component, as described below:
The above Channel 22 extends parallel to the air outlet 14 in the width direction Q of the dishwasher 1. The air distributor 16 is held at least partially in a plane below the air outlet 14 with respect to the vertical height H of the dishwasher 1, as is the channel 22 into which the air distributor 16 is funded. The air from the air distributor 16 therefore does not escape directly through the air outlet 14, but first passes through the duct 22 in both directions with its partial flows 19, 20. As air continues to be conveyed in, the air in the duct 22 that is open at the top is pushed out upwards again and again and, because of the upper baffle 24 , then only has the chance to flow laterally into the air outlet 14 .
This is possible because the duct 22 is open at the top and an upright front duct wall 23 is angled to the horizontally extending air outlet 14 adjoins, which ideally has the same extent in the width direction Q as the channel 22, in particular at least 40 centimeters.
In particular, for this purpose the air outlet 14—one or more parts—according to FIG. Then, in the case of an air outlet 4 that is 40 centimeters wide (in particular in relation to a domestic dishwasher with a device width of 60 cm), its height in the vertical direction H is less than approximately 2 centimeters. It is then ensured that, on the one hand, little installation space is taken up in the vertical direction H, and on the other hand, the overall extension of the air outlet 14 is large enough to discharge a large volume and thus keep the draft very low.
The air outlet 14 has at least one air guiding element 24 for the targeted conveyance of air into the area in front of the front V of the dishwasher 1, which applies a downward component to the outflowing air (28). Here the air guiding element 24 extends in one piece over the entire width of the air outlet 14, which is not mandatory. In addition, it is formed by a wall delimiting the air outlet 14 at the top and therefore does not require a separate component, which improves production and durability. A high level of stability is achieved.
As can be seen, for example, in FIG. 6, the air outlet 14 is arranged on the front side V of the dishwasher 1 facing a user and blows the air 28 out with a component towards the front V.
In this case, the air guiding element 24 points downwards by at least two degrees toward the front side V. The slope can also be greater and point downwards by at least four degrees.
On the air outlet 14, opposite the air guiding element 24, there is a wall 25 that borders downwards and forms a second air guiding element and in this way connects with the first air guiding element 24 to a blow-out channel 26 of several centimeters (typically about 5 to 8 Centimeters) length forms, as can be seen well in Figure 5, for example. The blow-out channel 26 can be delimited overall by a frame-like plastic molded part, but other materials are also fundamentally possible.
As can be seen clearly in Figure 6, with the advantages according to the invention, the air outlet 14 with the exhaust duct 26 extending forward V can also overlap a panel 5 which is clearly recessed in relation to a door 3 and closes a base 12 towards the front and, in relation to this, at least equidistant to the Front V protrudes. As a result, the panel 5 itself is not exposed to moisture. However, due to the downward component in the blown-out air flow 28 introduced via the air guiding element 24, this is also passed under the door 3 which protrudes further towards the front V (e.g. 5 to 10 centimetres) without, for example, wetting the front decorative element 6z there. Rather, the airflow is transported 28 to a few centimeters further forward V before it can rise due to the higher intrinsic heat compared to the surrounding kitchen air. However, it is far enough away from the furniture fronts. At the same time, because the air guiding element 24 has only a slight incline, wetting of the floor B is likewise avoided. The wide extension of the air outlet 14 also prevents annoying drafts.
A dishwasher with the following advantageously designed blow-out unit 15 for mounting on a plinth panel 5, in particular floor plinth panel, can be advantageous in particular:
In particular, the air distributor 16 of the blow-out unit 15 is assigned to the connection 26 on the inlet side and/or arranged downstream of this in the direction of flow. It is arranged in front of the slit-shaped exhaust channel of the air outlet 14 . This air distributor 16 preferably divides the rinsing chamber air flow conveyed to the connection 26 into a partial flow on the left and a partial flow on the right. The left-hand partial flow is fed into the left-hand section and the right-hand partial flow is fed into a right-hand partial section of the upwardly projecting air duct 22 fed. This air duct 22 is arranged in front of the slit-shaped blow-out duct of the air outlet 14 when viewed in the direction of flow. Viewed in the vertical direction, it is preferably lower than the air outlet. It preferably extends essentially over the same width as the exhaust channel. In particular, its upper end is connected to the entrance of the exhaust duct extending forward over its entire width (seen from the front). The air inlet with the connection 26 is preferably provided approximately in the middle of the width extension of the air duct 22 in its rear wall. The upwardly projecting air duct 22 can thus advantageously function as a condensation area. The hollow space of the air duct 22 is preferably sealed airtight and/or watertight at its lower end, so that it forms a condensate collection tank in its lower region. In this way, the air distributor 16 ensures that, viewed from the front, a partial flow on the left-hand side of the scavenging chamber air flow conveyed to the connection 26 on the inlet side reaches the left-hand half of the air duct 22 preceding the air outlet 14 and protruding upwards and the left-hand half of the forward-reaching, duct of air outlet 14 extending in the width or transverse direction, and a partial flow on the right-hand side of the rinsing chamber air flow conveyed to connection 26 on the inlet side, acts on the right-hand half of the air duct projecting upwards and the adjoining, right-hand half of the blow-out duct of air outlet 14, which extends forward, if the air inlet with the connection for the air supply line is provided, viewed in the transverse direction, in particular approximately centrally on the rear side of the air duct that projects upwards.
Preferably, the connection on the inlet side, the air distributor 16, the air duct 22 projecting upwards, and the slit-shaped blow-out duct of the air outlet 14 are components of the blow-out unit 15. This can in particular be designed in one piece or in one piece. It can preferably be made of plastic.
The blow-out unit 15 designed in this way is - e.g. as shown schematically in a side view in Figure 6 - on a front panel 5, in particular a floor base panel, which preferably has any existing base recess space of the dishwasher except for an upper one, between the lower edge of any with a Decor or furniture panel stocked front door 3 and the top edge of the panel 5 freely seals the gap that remains, can be installed cheaply. For this purpose, its upwardly protruding air duct 22 (when viewed from the front in the depth direction) is expediently arranged behind the back of the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, while the slot-shaped exhaust duct of its air outlet 14 overhangs the upper edge of the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, in particular on it rests. The air duct 22 is thus covered by the front panel 5, in particular the base panel, ie it is not visible from the front. Due to the slot shape of the exhaust duct, this is hardly noticeable from the front on the upper edge of the front panel, especially on the floor or base panel. In particular, the air duct 22 - as here in the embodiment of Figure 6 - on the back of the front panel 5, in particular base panel, - preferably releasably mounted. In the case of a floor plinth panel - as shown in Figure 6 - this stands on the floor B on.
A dishwasher 1 designed according to the principle according to the invention can not only carry out the final drying phase of a respective dishwasher program to be carried out, but can also be provided with a so-called "storage function" if required, which makes it possible for the items to be washed to be stored in the washing compartment 2 after processing remains without getting wet again. This retention can last for several days without the dryness of the items to be washed deteriorating. The dishwasher 1 then also serves as a storage and drying cabinet from which the items to be washed can be removed fresh and dry.
In particular, for the "storage function" the conveying element can be controlled in a clocked manner. Alternatively and particularly effectively, the conveying element is controlled via a moisture sensor system, which provides a measure of the current moisture content of items to be washed in the washing compartment.
In both cases, the conveyor element is only switched on every now and then in order to repeatedly convey moist air out of the washing compartment 2 and thus to preserve the quality of the cleaning of the items to be washed, even over a longer period of time.
