4. D) Depending on the length of the hair, cut the foil to the appropriate length onto foil strips with the number determined according to C) and have the foil strips ready.
5. E) Separate a strand of hair or several strands of hair to be treated together.
6. F) Place a prepared strip of foil individually under the separated strand(s) and push it under the hairline so that the strands to be treated lie completely on the foil and ensure that the foil does not slip.

When comparing the two procedures, it can be seen that the coloring or bleaching process with the device according to the invention requires fewer process steps and various process steps can be carried out significantly faster. Overall, the invention thus achieves a considerable reduction in the amount of working time required for coloring or bleaching film strands.

The invention has further advantages, which are explained below.

A first further advantage arises in relation to the reduction in the consumption of film. In the prior art, step D) must always be carried out specifically for a specific head, since the required length of the film strips varies depending on how the strands are to be treated. Even within one hairstyle, foil strips of different lengths may be required if the individual strands need to be treated differently. In order to prepare film strips that are suitable for different heads, in practice they are cut to a large excess length as a precautionary measure. As a result, in most cases they are too long and film material is wasted, which means unnecessary costs and avoidable environmental impact. In addition, a piece of film that is too long increases the difficulty of handling and thus the handling time for producing the film strands. With the device according to the invention, on the other hand, only the length of film actually required for a respective strand is used and consumed, since it is rolled out to the correct length with one movement in step e) and separated in step f).

Another advantage is that with the device according to the invention, much less skill is required when producing strands of film. Due to the reduced difficulty with the invention, it is also possible for less experienced people to treat strands of hair and achieve good results. Handling the film in steps F) to H) according to the prior art, on the other hand, requires skill, training and experience. Also the application of the hair dye or bleaching agent using the device according to the invention carried out semi-automatically requires less time and skill.

It is also advantageous that the length of the hair strand(s) that can be treated in one step is not limited by the length of a prepared film strip. Because in the invention the film simultaneously rolls off the film roll when the device is pulled away from the head, while at the same time the hair dye or bleaching agent is applied to the hair strands, the hair strands to be colored in one go can have any length that is not determined by the length prepared, cut film strips are limited.

The Fig. 1 shows a perspective view from above of an exemplary embodiment of a manually operated and operable device 1 according to the invention for dyeing or bleaching strands of hair using a, expediently liquid-impermeable, film 2 for producing strands of film in hair on a head. The device 1, as a film strip applicator when producing film strands, simplifies the application of the films 2 to the strands and also has an application device 14 with which the hair dye or bleaching agent can be applied to the strands at the same time. The device 1 comprises a support plate 3 with a preferably flat, flat, elongated support surface 4 for film 2. The support surface 4 is used to place film 2, with one or more strands of hair on the strips of film 2 resting on the support surface 4. can be placed next to each other in order to apply hair dye or bleaching agents to them using the device 1.

The film 2 is wound onto a film roll 5, which is inserted into a film roll holder 6 of the device 2. The film roll holder 6 is arranged at one end of the support plate 3 so that the film 2 is removed from the film roll 5 on the film roll holder 6 can be pulled over the support surface 4 to the opposite end of the support plate 3. At this end of the support plate 3 facing the head there is a fixing device 7, which is designed to press the film 2 resting on the support surface 4 onto the head with its free end, which is removed from the film roll 5, and thereby fix it there.

The fixing device 7 is mounted so that it can move in the direction in which the film 2 can be unrolled from the film roll 5 and pulled over the support surface 4 by means of a guide 8 arranged on the underside of the support plate 3. The fixing device 7 has a handle 9 and the device 1 has a handle 10 arranged next to the film roll holder 6 on the support plate 3. Using these two handles 9, 10, the fixing device 7 can be pulled out of the guide 8 or pushed into it. When the fixing device 7 is pulled out of the guide 8, i.e. when the device 1 is moved away from the head by means of the handle 10, the end of the film 2 resting on the head is held on the head by means of the fixing device 7 and thereby film 2 is removed from the film roll 5 deducted via the support surface 4.

The hair dye or bleaching agent, which is applied to strands of hair by means of the device 1, is located in a storage container 11, from which it can be conveyed through a hose 13 to an application device 14 by means of a conveying device designed in the form of a pump 12. As indicated in the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the pump 12 can be designed as a separate component, whereas in particular it can also be integrated into the storage container 11 or preferably into the handle 10 (not shown), so that it is arranged upstream of the storage container 11 and can be designed as a gas or air pump. The application device 14 is designed to apply hair dye or bleaching agent to a strand of hair or to several strands of hair, which rests or rests on a film 2 on the support surface 3. It is arranged at the end of the support plate 3 facing the head and can be folded up or swung open and/or removable in order to place the strand or strands of hair on the film 2. In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the application device 14 is fastened to the support plate 3, for example by means of a detachable plug-in connection, and by means of a joint between an operating position in which the application device 14 extends approximately parallel to the support surface 4 of the support plate 3 (cf Fig. 1 to 4 ), and an unfolded or swiveled position (cf. the Fig. 5 and 6 ), in which strands of hair can be placed on the support surface 4 provided with foil, can be moved. Like especially in the Fig. 4 and 6 can be seen, the application device 14 has a plurality of openings on its side facing the support surface 4 of the support plate 3, which extend transversely to the support surface 4 and are used to apply the hair dye or bleaching agent to the hair strands, the openings preferably, for example can be opened and closed individually or in groups using valves.

An actuating element 15 designed as a button, which is arranged in the handle 10, is used to activate the pump 12. Inside the handle 10 there is also an accumulator or a replaceable battery in a compartment for supplying the pump 12 with power, be it as a separate component as shown in the Fig. 1 designed or in particular it is also housed in the handle 10.

The guide 8 for the fixing device 7 comprises a guide rod 16 arranged on the fixing device 7, which is guided in a receptacle 17, which is preferably attached to the underside of the support plate 3. Furthermore, it can be seen that the fixing device 7, in addition to the handle 9, also has a pressure bracket 18 connected to the handle 9, which is used to press film 2 onto the head. So that the film 2 is fixed well and securely and does not slip, it can also have a fold 19 with which it is wrapped around the pressure bracket 18 over a partial circumference of the pressure bracket 18.

At the end of the support plate 3 that faces the head, a film separating device 20 for separating film 2 is arranged. It is designed as an edge on the support plate 3. By moving the device 1, the film 2 can be separated along the edge.

Claims (15)

Manually handled and actuated device (1) for coloring and/or bleaching strands of hair using a film (2) for producing film strands in hair on a head, comprising - a support plate (3) with a support surface (4), the support plate (3) being designed in such a way that a strip of the film (2) can be placed on the support surface (4) and on the strip resting on the support surface (4).
