Definitions
- the invention relates to a preferably multi-part vehicle door construction with ramp, in particular a wheelchair ramp.
- the WO 2013/086559 A1 discloses a ramp assembly for a vehicle comprising a ramp member which can be pivotally mounted on the vehicle, for example.
- the ramp member can be movable between a retracted position in which the ramp member is retracted relative to the vehicle, and an extended position in which the ramp member extends outwardly from the vehicle towards a floor surface in use. In the retracted position the ramp member can extend, for example, substantially vertically and across a door in the closed position.
- the US 4,339,224 A discloses a system for accommodating persons sitting in a wheelchair in a public transport vehicle.
- a ramp attached to the vehicle enables the wheelchair to be transported to the edge of a turntable so that the wheelchair can be moved to one of several stations into which the turntable is divided.
- the turntable is rotated to align another station for receiving another wheelchair from the ramp.
- the ramp can, for example, form the lower section of a door.
- the WO 2008/081201 A1 discloses a vehicle adapted for disabled access comprising a ramp pivotally connected to the vehicle below ground level.
- the EP 3 501 467 A1 discloses a motor vehicle comprising a sliding door, wherein the sliding door comprises at least one sliding door leaf which can be moved laterally on the motor vehicle between a closed position and an open position, wherein the sliding door leaf comprises a lower part of the sliding door leaf, wherein the lower part can be detached from the rest of the sliding door at its upper edge and, if necessary, at its side edges in the closed position of the sliding door and is pivotally mounted at its lower edge so that the lower part can be pivoted into a ramp position in the closed position of the sliding door, in which the lower part forms a ramp.
- the DE 20 319 248 U1 relates to a vehicle with a door structure with a ramp to facilitate entry and exit for people with reduced mobility.
- the vehicle comprises a corridor area, a substructure supporting the corridor area and, in at least one door area, a cutout in the corridor area to accommodate a wheelchair ramp.
- One disadvantage here, however, is that the wheelchair ramp takes up installation space in its retracted position that could be used for other purposes.
- An object of the invention is to provide an alternative and/or improved vehicle door construction with a ramp, in particular a vehicle door construction whose ramp takes up as little installation space as possible in the vehicle floor.
- the invention relates to a door construction preferably for installation in a vehicle, preferably a bus.
- the door construction can preferably be an outward swing door construction, an inward swing door construction or a swing-sliding door construction or a roller door, spiral door or sectional door construction.
- the door construction comprises at least one door leaf, which can be selectively brought into an open position (in particular for opening a door opening) and a closed position (in particular for closing the door opening).
- the door construction can, for example, comprise two door leaves, which can be selectively brought into an open position and a closed position.
- the door construction comprises a ramp (e.g. wheelchair ramp) which can be brought into a first position and at least one second position.
- a ramp e.g. wheelchair ramp
- the first position is preferably a functional position.
- the at least one second position is preferably at least a standby position.
- the ramp is preferably used in the functional position to facilitate entry and exit into and out of the vehicle, for example for persons such as passengers with reduced mobility (e.g. wheelchair users).
- the ramp In the functional position, the ramp therefore primarily functions as an entry and exit aid and/or as a wheelchair ramp.
- the door construction is characterized in particular by the fact that the ramp is expediently integrated into the at least one door leaf in the standby position, preferably in such a way that it can form a (e.g. lower) part of the at least one door leaf in the closed position of the at least one door leaf.
- the door construction is characterized in particular by the fact that the ramp is expediently aligned essentially vertically in the standby position, preferably with a deviation from the vertical of e.g. less than 15°, less than 10°, less than 5° or less than 3°.
- the ramp preferably does not function as a ramp to facilitate entry and exit, but preferably as part of at least one door leaf.
- the ready position of the ramp can preferably essentially comprise the closed position of the at least one door leaf and/or essentially comprise the open position of the at least one door leaf.
- the standby position can preferably comprise a (suitably first) standby position which essentially corresponds to the closed position of the at least one door leaf, and/or preferably comprise a (suitably second) standby position which essentially corresponds to the open position of the at least one door leaf.
- the ramp is not accommodated in the vehicle floor in the standby position, but can preferably form part of at least one door leaf, and therefore advantageously installation space can be released in the vehicle floor, in particular in the entry area of the door construction.
- the ramp in the standby position which in particular includes the closed position, together with the at least one door leaf in the closed position forms a preferably substantially common and/or substantially watertight closing plane, e.g. for closing a door opening.
- the ramp and the at least one door leaf are connected to one another on the front edge side, preferably in a substantially watertight manner, e.g. indirectly (for example via a sealing and/or fastening structure) or directly coupled to one another, preferably when the ramp is in the standby position and the at least one door leaf is in the closed position and/or in the open position.
- the ramp and the at least one door leaf can be aligned with their outer surfaces substantially parallel (suitably plane-parallel) and/or substantially flush with one another, in particular when the ramp is in the ready position and the at least one door leaf is in the closed position and/or in the open position.
- the ramp is moved together (e.g. together and/or as a unit) with the at least one door leaf into the open position and/or the closed position, for example pivoted and/or moved, in particular if the ramp is not required as an entry and exit aid.
- the ramp and the at least one door leaf can be mounted to one another, e.g. by means of a lock or another suitable fastening, and/or pivoted together.
- the ramp can therefore preferably be brought into the opening position together with the at least one door leaf, in particular to release the door opening.
- the ramp is constructed in several parts (preferably two parts) with a first partial ramp and a second partial ramp.
- the first partial ramp and the second partial ramp can, for example, be arranged next to one another essentially in the width direction of the door construction.
- the width direction of the door construction may preferably correspond to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
- first partial ramp and the second partial ramp can be brought into the functional position and preferably the standby position as a unit and thus preferably together.
- first partial ramp is assigned its own, preferably electric drive unit (e.g. first motor) and the second partial ramp is assigned its own, preferably electric drive unit (e.g. second motor).
- electric drive unit e.g. first motor
- second partial ramp is assigned its own, preferably electric drive unit (e.g. second motor).
- first partial ramp and the second partial ramp prefferably be brought into the functional position and the standby position optionally as a unit and thus, for example, together or independently of one another, e.g. the first partial ramp remains in the standby position, with the second partial ramp being brought into the functional position or vice versa.
- the first partial ramp and the second partial ramp can, for example, be designed to be able to be brought into the functional position and the standby position synchronously and/or asynchronously.
- the door construction comprises two door leaves.
- the first partial ramp can be moved (e.g. pivoted and/or displaced) into the open position and/or the closed position together (e.g. as a unit and/or jointly) with one door leaf and the second partial ramp can be moved (e.g. pivoted and/or displaced) into the open position and/or the closed position together (e.g. as a unit and/or jointly) with the other door leaf.
- the ramp it is possible for the ramp to be able to be opened up about a pivot axis into the functional position and/or folded down into the standby position that includes the firing position.
- the ramp can thus preferably be brought into the functional position and/or the standby position in a flap-like manner.
- the pivot axis preferably runs at the lower end of the ramp when the ramp is in the standby position, which expediently includes the closed position.
- the pivot axis can extend essentially in the width direction of the door construction.
- the pivot axis can, for example, extend adjacent to the vehicle floor, on the vehicle floor and/or in the vehicle floor.
- the door construction comprises a guide device, preferably with a deflection device, for guiding and/or deflecting the ramp, expediently in order to be able to bring the ramp into the functional position and preferably into the standby position comprising the closed position.
- a first, preferably upper, section of the ramp (e.g. at least one component to be guided, e.g. a projection, a ramp edge, a pin, a bolt or other components to be guided) can be pushed up and down in particular in a translational manner, preferably at least in sections essentially vertically, in order to bring the ramp, e.g. by means of a deflection device, into the functional position and preferably back again into the standby position, which expediently includes the closed position.
- a deflection device e.g. a projection, a ramp edge, a pin, a bolt or other components to be guided
- the first subsection in the standby position comprising the closed position is a suitably upper subsection and the ramp in the standby position comprising the closed position has a second suitably lower subsection, wherein the first subsection can be pushed downwards in particular in a translational manner from the standby position comprising the closed position, whereby the second subsection is moved outwards into the functional position, and/or the first subsection can be pushed upwards in particular in a translational manner from the functional position, whereby the second subsection is moved inwards into the standby position comprising the closed position.
- the guide device comprises, for example, at least one guide rail which is at least partially substantially vertical, in particular for guiding the first partial section.
- the guide device in particular the at least one guide rail, can also be designed to be curved in sections, in particular in order to facilitate or force the movement of the ramp into the functional position and/or the standby position comprising the closed position.
- the first section can be pushed up and down along and in particular in the at least one guide rail in order to bring the ramp into the functional position and the standby position comprising the closed position.
- two guide rails spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the door construction are provided.
- the at least one door leaf and the ramp are designed to be moved at least temporarily synchronously and/or asynchronously to one another, in particular with respect to the opening position and the functional position and/or with respect to the closing position and the standby position.
- the ramp can, for example, comprise at least one movable ramp extension body to enable the ramp to be extended, with the ramp extension body preferably being able to be opened and closed, for example, or extended and retracted like a telescope. This means that the ramp can also be used, for example, at stops without a bus stop.
- the ramp extension body can be operated by a motor and/or manually.
- the at least one door leaf can move sideways (practically essentially in the width direction of the door construction and/or the longitudinal direction of the vehicle) into the opening position or to move upwards (practically essentially in the height direction of the door construction and/or the vehicle) into the opening position.
- At least one door leaf comprises a roller shutter or spiral door or sectional door.
- the roller shutter, spiral door or sectional door can, for example, move upwards into the opening position and/or move downwards into the closing position.
- the at least one door leaf can, for example, have a plurality of panels, which can preferably be at least partially transparent or substantially fully transparent.
- roller shutter or spiral door or sectional door can comprise a plurality of at least partially transparent or substantially fully transparent panels.
- the panels can, for example, be connected to one another in an articulated manner (suitably directly or indirectly), preferably substantially parallel to the width direction of the door construction, substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and/or substantially parallel to the pivot axis of the ramp.
- Embodiments are also possible in which the ramp is automatically and thus preferably always brought into the functional position when the at least one door leaf is brought into the open position and/or the ramp is automatically brought into the standby position comprising the closed position when the at least one door leaf is brought into the closed position.
- the invention also relates to a vehicle, preferably a bus, with a door construction as disclosed herein.
- the depth of the entry area in the width direction of the vehicle can, for example, extend less than 2 m, 1.5 m, 1 m or 0.5 m into the vehicle.
- the length of the entry area in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is preferably smaller than the width of the door construction in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
- the ramp is not accommodated in the vehicle floor, and preferably also not arranged lying on it.
- the door construction 2 is described below with joint reference to the Figures 1 to 5 described.
- Reference line Y indicates the width direction of vehicle 1.
- Reference symbol Z indicates the height direction of the door construction 2 and in particular the height direction of the vehicle 1.
- Reference number 8 designates a bus stop stone.
- the door construction 2 is a two-leaf outward swing door construction with the two door leaves 3.1, 3.2.
- a design as an inward swing door or pivoting sliding door is also possible.
- the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 can be moved either into the open position to open the door opening or into the closed position to close the door opening.
- the ramp 4 can optionally be set to a functional position and in the exemplary embodiment of the Figures 1 to 5 in particular, two standby positions can be brought into play, namely a standby position comprising the closed position of the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 and a standby position comprising the open position of the door leaves 3.1, 3.2.
- the ramp 4 serves as an entry and/or entry aid for, for example, people with reduced mobility (e.g. wheelchair users) into the vehicle 1.
- the ramp 4 is integrated into the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 and is preferably aligned substantially vertically.
- the ramp 4 can in particular form part of the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 when the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 are in the closed position and/or when the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 are in the open position.
- ramp 4 When ramp 4 is in the position indicated in the Figures 2 and 3 shown, which includes the closed position, the ramp 4 is therefore not integrated into the vehicle floor as is usual in the prior art, but rather integrated into the door leaves 3.1, 3.2.
- the ramp 4 forms part of the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 and together with the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 a preferably essentially common closing plane for closing the door opening.
- the ramp 4 and the door leaves 3.1, 3,2 are aligned with their outer surfaces essentially plane-parallel and essentially flush with each other and are also expediently connected to each other on the front edge side directly or indirectly, e.g. via a sealing and/or fastening structure, when the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 are in the closed position and the ramp 4 is in the standby position comprising the closed position (cf. Figures 2 and 3 ), but also when the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 are in the open position and the ramp 4 is in the standby position comprising the open position (cf. Figure 5 ).
- the ramp 4 can, for example, be designed in two parts and have a first partial ramp 4.1 and a second partial ramp 4.2.
- the ramp 4 is required to facilitate entry and exit for persons such as passengers with reduced mobility (e.g. wheelchair users) into or out of the vehicle 1, the ramp 4 can be brought into the functional position, such as the Figures 1 and 4 shown.
- the partial ramp 4.1 can be moved into the open position together with the door leaf 3.1, whereby the partial ramp 4.2 can be moved into the open position together with the door leaf 3.2, as in Figure 5 shown.
- Figure 5 shows the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 in the open position and the ramp 4 in the inactive standby position.
- the ready position of the ramp 4 shown therefore corresponds to the opening position of the door leaves 3.1, 3.2.
- Figure 6 shows a plan view of a door construction 2 according to another embodiment of the invention, with door leaves 3.1, 3.2 in the closed position and ramp 4 in the standby position comprising the closed position, wherein Figure 7 the door construction 2 with the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 in the open position and the ramp 4 in the functional position.
- a special feature of the Figures 5 and 6 shown embodiment is that the ramp 4 is designed as a one-piece ramp and is therefore not divided into a first partial ramp 4.1 and a second partial ramp 4.2.
- the ramp 4 of the Figures 5 and 6 cannot be moved into the open position with the door leaves 3.1, 3.2, so that the ramp 4 of the Figures 5 and 6 cannot assume a ready position corresponding to the open position.
- Ramp 4 of the Figures 1 to 5 and also ramp 4 of the Figures 6 and 7 can, for example, comprise at least one movable ramp extension body to enable an extension of the ramp 4.
- the ramp extension body can be telescopically extendable and retractable or can be opened and closed in order to use the ramp 4, for example, at stops without a bus stop 8 (see, for example, Figures 1 and 2 ) to be able to use it.
- Figure 8 shows a ramp movement principle according to an embodiment of the invention in order to be able to bring a ramp 4 into the functional position and a standby position comprising the closed position.
- the ramp 4 can be opened like a flap about a pivot axis 5 into the functional position and folded like a flap into the standby position comprising the closed position.
- the pivot axis 5 runs at the lower end of the ramp 4 and preferably essentially in the width direction X of the door construction 2.
- Figure 9 shows a ramp movement principle according to another embodiment of the invention in order to be able to bring a ramp 4 into the functional position and the standby position comprising the closed position.
- a guide device is provided with in particular two guide rails which extend essentially vertically at least in sections, along and in particular in which a first upper section of the ramp 4 in the standby position (e.g. a left component to be guided and a right component to be guided, e.g. projections, bolts, pins, etc.) can be pushed up and down (suitably slipped) in order to bring the ramp 4 (e.g. by means of a deflection device) into the functional position and the standby position.
- a first upper section of the ramp 4 in the standby position e.g. a left component to be guided and a right component to be guided, e.g. projections, bolts, pins, etc.
- the ramp 4 can have a second lower section in the standby position.
- the first section can be moved downwards from the standby position along and in particular in the guide rails (suitably slipped), whereby the second section is moved outwards into the functional position.
- the first section can be moved upwards from the functional position along the guide rails (suitably slipped), whereby the second section is moved inwards into the standby position.
- Figure 10 shows a schematic view of a vehicle 1 with a door construction 2 according to an embodiment of the invention.
- the door construction 2 comprises an entry area 6.
- the depth of the entry area 6 in the width direction Y of the vehicle 1 can extend, for example, less than 2 m, 1.5 m, 1 m or 0.5 m into the vehicle 1.
- the length of the entry area 6 in the longitudinal direction X of the vehicle 1 is preferably smaller than the width of the door construction 2 in the longitudinal direction X of the vehicle 1.
- the wheelchair ramp is usually located in the entry area in the vehicle floor.
- one or more vehicle batteries 7 can be accommodated in the vehicle floor in the entry area 6, for example, because the ramp 4 is integrated into the door leaves 3.1, 3.2 and/or is aligned substantially vertically, particularly in the standby position comprising the closed position.
- Figure 11 shows a schematic plan view of a door construction 2 according to another embodiment of the invention, wherein Figure 12 shows a corresponding schematic sectional view.
- the at least one door leaf 3.1 is designed as a roller or spiral door, although a sectional door is also possible.
- the roller, spiral or sectional door can, for example, comprise a plurality of preferably at least partially transparent panels 9.
- the panels 9 are preferably connected to one another in an articulated manner.
- the roller door, spiral door or sectional door can move upwards to open the door opening and move downwards to close the door opening, as in the Figures 11 and 12 indicated schematically by the double arrow.

An object of the invention is to provide an alternative and/or improved vehicle door construction with a ramp, in particular a vehicle door construction whose ramp takes up as little installation space as possible in the vehicle floor.
This object can be achieved with the features of the main claim. Advantageous further developments are disclosed in the subclaims or emerge from the following description of preferred embodiments of the invention.
The invention relates to a door construction preferably for installation in a vehicle, preferably a bus. The door construction can preferably be an outward swing door construction, an inward swing door construction or a swing-sliding door construction or a roller door, spiral door or sectional door construction.
The door construction comprises at least one door leaf, which can be selectively brought into an open position (in particular for opening a door opening) and a closed position (in particular for closing the door opening). In a preferred embodiment, the door construction can, for example, comprise two door leaves, which can be selectively brought into an open position and a closed position.
The door construction comprises a ramp (e.g. wheelchair ramp) which can be brought into a first position and at least one second position.
Die erste Stellung ist vorzugsweise eine Funktionsstellung. The first position is preferably a functional position.
The at least one second position is preferably at least a standby position.
The ramp is preferably used in the functional position to facilitate entry and exit into and out of the vehicle, for example for persons such as passengers with reduced mobility (e.g. wheelchair users).
In the functional position, the ramp therefore primarily functions as an entry and exit aid and/or as a wheelchair ramp.
B. kleiner 15°, kleiner 10°, kleiner 5° oder kleiner 3°.The door construction is characterized in particular by the fact that the ramp is expediently integrated into the at least one door leaf in the standby position, preferably in such a way that it can form a (e.g. lower) part of the at least one door leaf in the closed position of the at least one door leaf. Alternatively or additionally, the door construction is characterized in particular by the fact that the ramp is expediently aligned essentially vertically in the standby position, preferably with a deviation from the vertical of e.g. less than 15°, less than 10°, less than 5° or less than 3°.
In the standby position, the ramp preferably does not function as a ramp to facilitate entry and exit, but preferably as part of at least one door leaf.
The ready position of the ramp can preferably essentially comprise the closed position of the at least one door leaf and/or essentially comprise the open position of the at least one door leaf.
In the context of the invention, the standby position can preferably comprise a (suitably first) standby position which essentially corresponds to the closed position of the at least one door leaf, and/or preferably comprise a (suitably second) standby position which essentially corresponds to the open position of the at least one door leaf.
It is possible that the ramp is not accommodated in the vehicle floor in the standby position, but can preferably form part of at least one door leaf, and therefore advantageously installation space can be released in the vehicle floor, in particular in the entry area of the door construction.
It is possible that the ramp in the standby position, which in particular includes the closed position, together with the at least one door leaf in the closed position forms a preferably substantially common and/or substantially watertight closing plane, e.g. for closing a door opening.
It is possible that the ramp and the at least one door leaf are connected to one another on the front edge side, preferably in a substantially watertight manner, e.g. indirectly (for example via a sealing and/or fastening structure) or directly coupled to one another, preferably when the ramp is in the standby position and the at least one door leaf is in the closed position and/or in the open position.
Alternatively or additionally, it is possible for the ramp and the at least one door leaf to be aligned with their outer surfaces substantially parallel (suitably plane-parallel) and/or substantially flush with one another, in particular when the ramp is in the ready position and the at least one door leaf is in the closed position and/or in the open position.
The ramp is moved together (e.g. together and/or as a unit) with the at least one door leaf into the open position and/or the closed position, for example pivoted and/or moved, in particular if the ramp is not required as an entry and exit aid. For this purpose, in one embodiment, the ramp and the at least one door leaf can be mounted to one another, e.g. by means of a lock or another suitable fastening, and/or pivoted together.
The ramp can therefore preferably be brought into the opening position together with the at least one door leaf, in particular to release the door opening.
The ramp is constructed in several parts (preferably two parts) with a first partial ramp and a second partial ramp.

The ramp can, for example, comprise at least one movable ramp extension body to enable the ramp to be extended, with the ramp extension body preferably being able to be opened and closed, for example, or extended and retracted like a telescope. This means that the ramp can also be used, for example, at stops without a bus stop. The ramp extension body can be operated by a motor and/or manually.
It is possible for the at least one door leaf to move sideways (practically essentially in the width direction of the door construction and/or the longitudinal direction of the vehicle) into the opening position or to move upwards (practically essentially in the height direction of the door construction and/or the vehicle) into the opening position.
It is possible that at least one door leaf comprises a roller shutter or spiral door or sectional door.
The roller shutter, spiral door or sectional door can, for example, move upwards into the opening position and/or move downwards into the closing position.
The at least one door leaf can, for example, have a plurality of panels, which can preferably be at least partially transparent or substantially fully transparent.
Preferably, in particular the roller shutter or spiral door or sectional door can comprise a plurality of at least partially transparent or substantially fully transparent panels.
The panels can, for example, be connected to one another in an articulated manner (suitably directly or indirectly), preferably substantially parallel to the width direction of the door construction, substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and/or substantially parallel to the pivot axis of the ramp.
It should also be mentioned that the ramp can preferably be brought into the functional position and/or the standby position comprising the open position and/or the closed position by motor, e.g. on the instruction (e.g. by pressing a button) of a vehicle driver. The ramp can also be extended by motor on the instruction of a vehicle driver.
For this purpose, an operating device can be arranged, for example, within reach of a vehicle driver's seat, by means of which the motor(s) for driving the ramp and/or the ramp extension body can be controlled.
Embodiments are also possible in which the ramp is automatically and thus preferably always brought into the functional position when the at least one door leaf is brought into the open position and/or the ramp is automatically brought into the standby position comprising the closed position when the at least one door leaf is brought into the closed position.
However, embodiments are also possible in which the ramp can be manually brought into the functional position and/or the standby position comprising the opening position and/or the closing position.
The invention also relates to a vehicle, preferably a bus, with a door construction as disclosed herein.
The door construction can, for example, comprise an entry area that preferably adjoins the door construction, wherein one or more vehicle batteries can be accommodated in the vehicle floor in the entry area. This advantageously allows one or more vehicle batteries to be accommodated in the vehicle floor directly behind the door construction.
The depth of the entry area in the width direction of the vehicle can, for example, extend less than 2 m, 1.5 m, 1 m or 0.5 m into the vehicle.
