Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting module for mounting a cistern and a method for realizing a pre-wall in front of such a mounting module as well as a method for realizing a WC installation with a WC body installed on a front side of a pre-wall.
  • the mounting module extends along a vertical line with a height and along a transversal line with a width and forms a front side, wherein the pre-wall is usually arranged on the front side of the mounting module extending along the vertical and transversal lines.
  • the pre-wall can have openings through which elements of the mounting module extend, so that the pre-wall is only arranged in front of sections of the front side of the mounting module and further sections of the mounting module extend in front of the pre-wall, so that they form pre-wall side sections of the mounting module, which are arranged in front of the pre-wall.
  • front side always refers to the side of the mounting module to which a WC body is intended to be attached to the mounting module and to which with a viewing direction that runs perpendicular to the vertical and the transverse.
  • the mounting module usually has fastening rods that are firmly mounted to a module frame of the mounting module and onto which the toilet body can then be pushed, while the fastening rods are inserted into corresponding openings in the toilet body, after which the toilet body is finally fastened to the fastening rods by means of fixing devices that correspond to the fastening rods, for example comprising a nut and/or a clamping unit.
  • a cistern usually comprises an actuating device for triggering a toilet flush, which is usually integrated into a cover plate that closes a reversing opening provided in the cistern.
  • Generic assembly modules usually comprise a module frame, a drain pipe and a cistern with a flush pipe, wherein in an operating position of the assembly module the cistern is attached to the module frame and the flush pipe forms a flush pipe connection open at the front of the assembly module and the drain pipe is attached to the module frame and forms a drain pipe connection open at the front of the assembly module.
  • the operating position refers to a specific arrangement of the components of the assembly module relative to one another.
  • the flush pipe connection and the drain pipe connection of the assembly module are accessible from the front, so that in the operating position of the assembly module a toilet body with its flush water inlet connection and its waste water outlet connection can be connected to the flush pipe connection and the drain pipe connection from the front of the assembly module.
  • Generic mounting modules are suitable for the particularly simple installation of a toilet.
  • the provision of the module frame which usually has at least two vertically running support struts and at least two transverse struts connecting the support struts, enables easy installation of the cistern and a toilet body in a room. This is because the module frame can be placed with its vertical underside on a room floor and fixed to the room floor and in particular to a wall bordering the room, for example the supporting structure for a drywall or a building wall, so that a cistern fixed to the module frame and a toilet body fixed to the module frame can be arranged in a simple and reliable manner in a room.
  • the module frame can reliably determine the positions of these pipes in the operating position.
  • the drain pipe which is attached to the module frame, usually opens into a building-side sewer line at its vertically lower end.
  • a pre-wall can then be created in front of the module frame and thus at least partially in front of the assembly module.
  • Such a pre-wall is usually realized as a drywall.
  • the pre-wall comprises a building board, for example, a plasterboard, and UW and CW profiles are usually used as the supporting frame for the pre-wall, to the front of which the building boards of the pre-wall are mounted.
  • Generic assembly modules usually have a module frame, which in such UW or CW profiles. These generic mounting modules thus enable reliable fixation and connection of a cistern before the pre-wall is installed.
  • a toilet body can be mounted on the front of the pre-wall and easily connected to the cistern's flush pipe connection and the drain pipe connection.
  • Such assembly modules must therefore remain in a room for an extended period during the construction period, once the drainpipe and cistern have been connected to the corresponding building pipes or pipe connections. This is because various trades are usually active at this time, such as floor fitters, drywallers, tilers, electricians, etc.
  • Such assembly modules must therefore enable the later connection of a toilet body during this construction period without causing damage and, in addition, protect access to building connections, for example, to prevent unpleasant odors from escaping from the building's wastewater line or contaminants from entering such a wastewater line during the construction period.
  • such assembly modules should enable the simplest and safest possible connection of the toilet body after the pre-wall and, in particular, the floor in a room have been erected. Such assembly modules only partially meet these requirements.
  • Different toilet bowls require different wall connections, and providing cover hoods on the flush pipe connection and drain pipe connection does not create sufficient space to later allow the direct connection of almost any toilet bowl to the pre-wall without the need for complex and difficult additional work, such as deliberately prying open the pre-wall.
  • different types of wall connections are required, for example, an electrical connection to supply power to the toilet body, for example, to heat water for a shower facility, for an odor extraction system, or for a hairdryer, an electrical connection to supply power to an electric actuator plate, and/or a water connection provided in addition to the flush pipe, for example, for a shower facility.
  • the assembly module comprises a two-part connection stem with a connection element and a closure element.
  • the closure element In a construction-time position, the closure element is attached to the connection element. Starting from the construction-time position, the closure element can be detached from the connection element, while the connection element remains unchanged on a mounting frame of the assembly module, thereby establishing an operating position of the assembly module in which a flush pipe connection and a drain pipe connection are accessible from a front side of the module.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of providing an assembly module or a method for realizing a pre-wall in front of such an assembly module or a method for realizing a WC installation or a system with such an assembly module, which at least partially eliminates at least some of the problems and disadvantages of known assembly modules or methods or systems.
