Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a bag, in particular a plastic bag, preferably for the collection and optionally the shipping of, in particular moist, waste, particularly preferably used coffee capsules or coffee aluminum capsules.
  • Coffee capsules are disposable products. They are regularly used in so-called portion coffee machines. In order to brew the coffee in the capsules, heated water or steam is passed through the coffee powder under high pressure for a specified period of time, partially destroying the capsule in the coffee machine. The amount of coffee powder in the coffee capsule is intended for brewing a single cup of coffee. It is therefore a portion package. Coffee capsules are still enjoying increasing popularity due to their ease of use. Another advantage of this type of coffee production is that a wide range of different types of coffee are available without having to stock large quantities of the corresponding types of coffee or beans for each coffee flavor. In order to guarantee the freshness and integrity of the coffee powder used for this, the coffee capsules used are regularly made of an aluminum body and an aluminum cover. After the used coffee capsule is removed from the coffee machine, it usually contains residual water as well as moist coffee grounds.
  • Used coffee capsules unless they are used in cafés or coffee shops, are often disposed of with regular household waste and are therefore not subject to waste recycling.
  • Germany alone the amount of waste from used coffee capsules was estimated at 4,000 to 4,500 tonnes in 2014. While the inclusion of aluminium coffee capsules in the recycling process is straightforward, While separate collection should be possible if these aluminium capsules are used in cafés and collected separately, this is more difficult for aluminium capsules that the end consumer takes home and uses there. Due to the moisture and contamination with coffee residues or moist coffee grounds, they cannot be collected with the rest of the recycling waste without further processing, but must first be cleaned separately by the consumer. This individual cleaning is disadvantageous not least because of the water consumption. This also leads to used coffee capsules being thrown in with regular household waste.
  • the EP 3 617 085 A1 a shipping bag in which the opening edge of the front wall is below the opening edge of the rear wall, so that the rear wall forms a protruding, foldable closure flap with a first adhesive strip and the front wall has a third adhesive strip on the outside beyond the overlap area with the folded closure flap.
  • the front wall can have a second adhesive strip on the outside in the overlap area with the folded closure flap along the opening edge of the front wall.
  • the present invention was therefore based on the object of being able to recycle used coffee capsules, in particular aluminum coffee capsules, in a simpler and more reliable manner and to the greatest possible extent.
  • bags in particular plastic bags, are intended and suitable in particular for the collection and, if necessary, the shipping of waste, in particular wet waste, particularly preferably for the collection and, if necessary, the shipping of used coffee capsules or coffee aluminum capsules.
  • the closure tab is connected along the upper edge portion in the region of the upper bag portion above the bag opening to the outside of the bag front wall along a second welding or adhesive area, in particular a second weld seam.
  • the second welding or bonding area in particular the second weld seam, can expediently extend from one side edge to the opposite side edge of the closure tab. In this way, a high degree of tightness can be guaranteed with preferably low manufacturing effort.
  • the first welding or bonding area and the second welding or bonding area preferably run essentially congruently. In many cases, it has proven to be expedient to obtain the first welding or bonding area and the second welding or bonding area in a simultaneous manufacturing step, for example in a single welding process.
  • the bag or plastic bag according to the invention in particular shipping bag, can be closed in such a way that water residues, moist coffee grounds residues and/or moist coffee grounds present therein cannot escape again during storage and transport through the original bag opening.
  • the bags according to the invention in particular plastic bags, are manufactured in a practical design in such a way that water or moisture cannot escape either through the wall materials of the front and rear walls, or through the side walls, if present, or through the connecting sections or seams of the wall sections connected to one another.
  • the escape of moisture or residual water or moist coffee grounds from the original bag opening can surprisingly be achieved with the bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, by folding the closure flap with the adhesive area onto the particularly slot-shaped bag opening and then gluing it.
  • the adhesive area on the inside of the closure tab is preferably designed and configured to close the bag opening in a liquid-tight manner when the closure tab is placed flat against the outside of the bag front wall.
  • the bags according to the invention in particular plastic bags, can be used to collect and transport both those used coffee capsules in which the moist coffee grounds are still completely present, as well as those in which this moist coffee grounds have been removed by simply tipping them out, for example after tearing open the aluminum foil, so that only moist coffee grounds residues are left there.
  • the bags according to the invention are also characterized in particular by the fact that they can be made ready for shipping in a simple manner.
  • the materials forming the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags are particularly expediently made from a flexible material and are accordingly deformable.
  • the further explanations should therefore be preceded by the fact that the description refers to an unfilled, non-deformed state of the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, whereby this bag, in particular shipping bag, is preferably to be viewed as essentially stretched out flat.
  • the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags is also expediently provided in this form before being filled with moist waste, in particular used coffee capsules.
  • front wall and "back wall” have been chosen as such to enable easier understanding.
  • bag wall that has the bag opening can also be designed in the sense of a back wall in actual use, whereby the relevant product name and/or logos can then be present on the front wall.
  • back wall can also have such labels or prints.
  • the bag according to the invention in particular a plastic bag, is characterized in that, in particular when the closure flap is placed flat on the outside of the front wall of the bag, the opposite side edges of the closure flap can be placed on the corresponding side edges of the front wall of the bag, in particular can be brought into line with the corresponding side edges of the front wall of the bag. This ensures that the bag opening is always reliably closed, regardless of its size and/or shape.
  • the bag rear wall of the bag according to the invention in particular a plastic bag, is directly connected to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular a plastic material strip, forming the closure tab, in particular merges integrally into this upper edge section.
  • the bag rear wall of the bag according to the invention in particular plastic bag, is connected via a double-layered extension section to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular plastic material strip, forming the closure tab.
  • the continuation section has a first and a second section which are designed and arranged to be able to be placed directly or indirectly against one another by folding over onto themselves, in particular to form a turning fold or fold.
  • the rear wall of the bag according to the invention preferably merges integrally into the extension section.
  • the extension section merges integrally into the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab.
  • the bag according to the invention in particular a plastic bag, is preferably also characterized in that the bag rear wall is connected to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab, or to the continuation section over essentially the entire extent between the opposite side edges.
  • the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab is connected to the bag rear wall or the continuation section over essentially the entire extent between the opposite side edges.
  • the extension section of the bag according to the invention in particular a plastic bag, has a handle opening, in particular a punched one.
  • the first and second sections of the extension section particularly preferably each have a handle opening or recess. These handle openings or recesses are in particular essentially congruent and thus form a uniform handle opening.
  • the recesses or handle openings of the first and second sections of the extension section that are in register are connected to one another in the region of their peripheral edges, in particular welded to one another.
  • the bags according to the invention in particular plastic bags, which are equipped with an extension section, have at least one second material strip, in particular plastic material strip, which is present at least in sections between the first and the second section of the extension section, in particular is connected to the first and/or the second section of the extension section, for example is partially glued or welded, in order to increase the stability and/or the wearing and handling comfort.
  • the second material strip in particular a plastic material strip, is preferably connected to the second section of the extension section.
  • This connection can be brought about, for example, by the side edges of this material strip being in line with the side edges of the extension section and being connected, in particular welded, to them.
  • the second material strip can have a recess in the area of the handle opening, the peripheral edge of which is connected, in particular welded, to the peripheral edges of the recesses in the first and second sections that form the handle opening.
  • This second material strip can also, alternatively or additionally, be fixed by the second weld seam.
  • the second material strip preferably extends beyond the second weld seam in the direction of the bag opening, for example in a length in the range of 0.5 to 2 cm. This section of the second material strip extending beyond the second weld seam does not necessarily have to be connected to the inside of the extension section.
  • Such bags according to the invention are particularly suitable for solving the problem underlying the invention, in which the bag rear wall is connected, in particular in one piece, to the extension section and in which the extension section, in particular in one piece, merges into the first material strip, in particular plastic material strip, forming the closure tab and in which the bag front wall further extends over an extension section beyond the first welding or adhesive area between the first and the second section of the extension section, in particular beyond the handle opening and/or essentially up to the turning fold.
  • the bag front wall, the bag rear wall and the material strip forming the closure tab are preferably formed substantially in one piece.
  • the bags according to the invention are essentially made in one piece. This can be achieved, for example, by folding the film sheet over in the area of the bottom end to form a fold. The adjacent side edges of the front and rear walls are then glued or welded together.

Description

Kaffee-Aluminiumkapseln.The present invention relates to a bag, in particular a plastic bag, preferably for the collection and optionally the shipping of, in particular moist, waste, particularly preferably used coffee capsules or coffee aluminum capsules.

Coffee capsules are disposable products.

Used coffee capsules, unless they are used in cafés or coffee shops, are often disposed of with regular household waste and are therefore not subject to waste recycling. In Germany alone, the amount of waste from used coffee capsules was estimated at 4,000 to 4,500 tonnes in 2014. Since, apart from a plastic inner coating, as described above, coffee aluminium capsules consist essentially entirely of aluminium and are therefore virtually pure, it would be desirable to make used aluminium coffee capsules accessible to a recycling process on as large a scale as possible. To this end, the EP 3 617 085 A1 a shipping bag in which the opening edge of the front wall is below the opening edge of the rear wall, so that the rear wall forms a protruding, foldable closure flap with a first adhesive strip and the front wall has a third adhesive strip on the outside beyond the overlap area with the folded closure flap. Alternatively or in addition to the first adhesive strip, the front wall can have a second adhesive strip on the outside in the overlap area with the folded closure flap along the opening edge of the front wall. These bags are intended to enable liquid-tight return shipping. Other bags are made of US 2019/071220 A1 , DE 10 2016 005649 A1 , Wo 2011/146616 A1 and GB 2 533 593 A known.

Nevertheless, it would be desirable to be able to use containers that can be filled and stored and transported in a liquid-tight manner even more reliably. The present invention was therefore based on the object of being able to recycle used coffee capsules, in particular aluminum coffee capsules, in a simpler and more reliable manner and to the greatest possible extent.

Accordingly, the present invention has found a bag according to claim 1.

Kaffee-Aluminiumkapseln.These bags, in particular plastic bags, are intended and suitable in particular for the collection and, if necessary, the shipping of waste, in particular wet waste, particularly preferably for the collection and, if necessary, the shipping of used coffee capsules or coffee aluminum capsules.

In the bag according to the invention, the closure tab is connected along the upper edge portion in the region of the upper bag portion above the bag opening to the outside of the bag front wall along a second welding or adhesive area, in particular a second weld seam.

In this case, the second welding or bonding area, in particular the second weld seam, can expediently extend from one side edge to the opposite side edge of the closure tab. In this way, a high degree of tightness can be guaranteed with preferably low manufacturing effort. The first welding or bonding area and the second welding or bonding area preferably run essentially congruently. In many cases, it has proven to be expedient to obtain the first welding or bonding area and the second welding or bonding area in a simultaneous manufacturing step, for example in a single welding process.

The bag or plastic bag according to the invention, in particular shipping bag, can be closed in such a way that water residues, moist coffee grounds residues and/or moist coffee grounds present therein cannot escape again during storage and transport through the original bag opening. Accordingly, the bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, are manufactured in a practical design in such a way that water or moisture cannot escape either through the wall materials of the front and rear walls, or through the side walls, if present, or through the connecting sections or seams of the wall sections connected to one another. The escape of moisture or residual water or moist coffee grounds from the original bag opening can surprisingly be achieved with the bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, by folding the closure flap with the adhesive area onto the particularly slot-shaped bag opening and then gluing it. The adhesive area on the inside of the closure tab is preferably designed and configured to close the bag opening in a liquid-tight manner when the closure tab is placed flat against the outside of the bag front wall.

The bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, can be used to collect and transport both those used coffee capsules in which the moist coffee grounds are still completely present, as well as those in which this moist coffee grounds have been removed by simply tipping them out, for example after tearing open the aluminum foil, so that only moist coffee grounds residues are left there.

Aufdrucke aufweisen. The bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, are also characterized in particular by the fact that they can be made ready for shipping in a simple manner. The materials forming the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, are particularly expediently made from a flexible material and are accordingly deformable. The further explanations should therefore be preceded by the fact that the description refers to an unfilled, non-deformed state of the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, whereby this bag, in particular shipping bag, is preferably to be viewed as essentially stretched out flat. The bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, is also expediently provided in this form before being filled with moist waste, in particular used coffee capsules. The use of the terms "front wall" and "back wall" have been chosen as such to enable easier understanding. Of course, the bag wall that has the bag opening can also be designed in the sense of a back wall in actual use, whereby the relevant product name and/or logos can then be present on the front wall. Of course, the back wall can also have such labels or prints.

In a preferred embodiment, the bag according to the invention, in particular a plastic bag, is characterized in that, in particular when the closure flap is placed flat on the outside of the front wall of the bag, the opposite side edges of the closure flap can be placed on the corresponding side edges of the front wall of the bag, in particular can be brought into line with the corresponding side edges of the front wall of the bag. This ensures that the bag opening is always reliably closed, regardless of its size and/or shape.

The bag rear wall of the bag according to the invention, in particular a plastic bag, is directly connected to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular a plastic material strip, forming the closure tab, in particular merges integrally into this upper edge section.

Particularly preferably, in a further embodiment, the bag rear wall of the bag according to the invention, in particular plastic bag, is connected via a double-layered extension section to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular plastic material strip, forming the closure tab.

In particularly expedient embodiments, the continuation section has a first and a second section which are designed and arranged to be able to be placed directly or indirectly against one another by folding over onto themselves, in particular to form a turning fold or fold.

The rear wall of the bag according to the invention, in particular the plastic bag, preferably merges integrally into the extension section. Alternatively and in particular additionally, the extension section merges integrally into the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab.

The bag according to the invention, in particular a plastic bag, is preferably also characterized in that the bag rear wall is connected to the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab, or to the continuation section over essentially the entire extent between the opposite side edges. Alternatively and in particular additionally, it can be provided that the upper edge section of the first material strip, in particular the plastic material strip, forming the closure tab is connected to the bag rear wall or the continuation section over essentially the entire extent between the opposite side edges.

In a particularly expedient embodiment, the extension section of the bag according to the invention, in particular a plastic bag, has a handle opening, in particular a punched one. The first and second sections of the extension section particularly preferably each have a handle opening or recess. These handle openings or recesses are in particular essentially congruent and thus form a uniform handle opening. In a particularly suitable embodiment, the recesses or handle openings of the first and second sections of the extension section that are in register are connected to one another in the region of their peripheral edges, in particular welded to one another.

The bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, which are equipped with an extension section, have at least one second material strip, in particular plastic material strip, which is present at least in sections between the first and the second section of the extension section, in particular is connected to the first and/or the second section of the extension section, for example is partially glued or welded, in order to increase the stability and/or the wearing and handling comfort.

This connection can be brought about, for example, by the side edges of this material strip being in line with the side edges of the extension section and being connected, in particular welded, to them. Alternatively or additionally, the second material strip can have a recess in the area of the handle opening, the peripheral edge of which is connected, in particular welded, to the peripheral edges of the recesses in the first and second sections that form the handle opening. This second material strip can also, alternatively or additionally, be fixed by the second weld seam. The second material strip preferably extends beyond the second weld seam in the direction of the bag opening, for example in a length in the range of 0.5 to 2 cm. This section of the second material strip extending beyond the second weld seam does not necessarily have to be connected to the inside of the extension section.

Such bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, are particularly suitable for solving the problem underlying the invention, in which the bag rear wall is connected, in particular in one piece, to the extension section and in which the extension section, in particular in one piece, merges into the first material strip, in particular plastic material strip, forming the closure tab and in which the bag front wall further extends over an extension section beyond the first welding or adhesive area between the first and the second section of the extension section, in particular beyond the handle opening and/or essentially up to the turning fold.

The bag front wall, the bag rear wall and the material strip forming the closure tab, in particular plastic material strip, or in particular the bag front wall, the bag rear wall, the extension section and the material strip forming the closure tab, in particular plastic material strip, are preferably formed substantially in one piece.

In a particularly useful embodiment, the bags according to the invention are essentially made in one piece. This can be achieved, for example, by folding the film sheet over in the area of the bottom end to form a fold. The adjacent side edges of the front and rear walls are then glued or welded together.

In a further development of the bag according to the invention, in particular the plastic bag, there is at least a third weld or adhesive area, in particular a third weld seam, which connects the insides of the front wall of the bag and the back wall of the bag to one another, in particular in a liquid-tight manner, and which extends from the first weld or adhesive area to the closed lower end of the bag, forming bag compartments, wherein the bag compartments, in particular all bag compartments, have at least one bag opening. By dividing the bag according to the invention, in particular the plastic bag, into several separate bag compartments, each of which is in particular liquid-tight, the moist waste intended for recycling can be separated at an early stage, for example into its pure components. For example, a plastic body can be transferred into a first bag compartment via the bag opening in this bag compartment, while the separated aluminum sealing film of this plastic body can be filled into a second bag compartment, which is also provided with a bag opening. The individual bag compartments can be made distinguishable by suitable printing or coloring.

The bag opening of the bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, is in particular in the form of an opening slot with a first and an opposite second end, but can alternatively also be designed as a cross slot. The opening slot particularly preferably has a greater extent than the distance along the straight connection between the first and second ends of the opening slot, whereby this straight connection between the first and second ends of the opening slot is closer to the first and/or second welding or adhesive area than the opening slot. Such opening slots can in particular be designed in the form of a so-called oval or kidney punch (also known as a C-handle).

Alternatively, the opening slot can also be designed in a straight line, for example parallel to the first and/or second welding or bonding area or at an angle thereto. Furthermore, the opening slot can be formed by two sides of a triangle or by three connected sides of a rectangle, square or trapezoid.

The bag opening can also take on other shapes and, for example, be strip-shaped, in particular with a substantially rectangular base area. The bag opening can also take on an oval or circular shape.

Furthermore, in another very practical embodiment, it is provided that the adhesive area, in particular the adhesive strip, runs essentially parallel to the upper edge of the front wall and/or the rear wall of the bag and/or essentially parallel to the first welding or adhesive area, in particular to the first welding or adhesive area. With the arrangement of the adhesives or adhesive strips described above, a very efficient and reliable production of the bags according to the invention is generally achieved.

In a further alternative embodiment, it can be provided in a bag according to the invention that the adhesive area ends at a distance, preferably a maximum of 20 mm and particularly preferably a maximum of 10 mm, from one side edge and/or at a distance, preferably a maximum of 20 mm and particularly preferably a maximum of 10 mm, from the opposite side edge of the closure flap. In this way, too, liquid-tight bags are obtained that can be used for dry transport of moist waste, in particular used coffee capsules. Furthermore, it can be provided that the adhesive area extends in particular continuously, from one side edge to the opposite side edge of the closure flap.

The adhesive area, in particular the adhesive strip, comprises or represents, in a very practical embodiment, double-sided adhesives, in particular double-sided adhesive strips. It can also be provided that at least one, preferably each, of the adhesives, in particular adhesive strips, comprises at least one detachable protective film, wherein the protective film in particular prevents the front wall from being connected to the rear wall. The measures described above result in particularly moisture-proof bags according to the invention, which are very suitable for the dry transport of the moist waste collected with the bags according to the invention, in particular used coffee capsules.

The bags according to the invention also include those which have first and/or second side wall elements between the opposite side edges of the front and rear walls. In this case, the side wall elements can also represent or contain side folds which extend in particular from the bottom end of the front and rear walls.

The front wall of the bag and the rear wall of the bag and optionally the side walls of the bag and/or the plastic material strip forming the closure flap and/or the extension section preferably comprise or are made essentially of Polyolefins, in particular polyethylene, and/or polyesters. Preferably, the front wall of the bag, the back wall of the bag, the plastic material strip forming the closure flap and the extension section and optionally the side walls are made essentially of polyolefins, in particular polyethylene, and/or polyesters or comprise them. Alternatively, the bags according to the invention can also be made of a paper material, in particular a paper material laminated on one or both sides or provided with a hydrophobic finish, in particular with at least one plastic film.

In this case, embodiments in which the front wall has a first outer layer consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, and an opposite first inner layer consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, and in which the rear wall has a second outer layer consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, and an opposite second inner layer consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, wherein in a preferred embodiment there are numerous first cavities separated from one another by first walls, preferably consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, between the first outer layer and the first inner layer, and numerous second cavities separated from one another by second walls, preferably consisting essentially of or comprising at least one polymer material, in particular polyethylene, between the second outer layer and the second inner layer. In a particularly expedient embodiment, the first cavities parallel to the first outer layer and the second cavities parallel to the second outer layer each have at least one cross-section in which the walls of the cavities each describe an oval, in particular are circular.

Alternativ sowie vorzugsweise zusätzlich liegt die mittlere Quererstreckung zweckmäßigerweise im Bereich von 0,005 mm bis 30 mm, vorzugsweise im Bereich von 0,5 bis 10 mm, insbesondere bevorzugt von 1 bis 5 mm.The above-described embodiment of a bag according to the invention is also characterized in an advantageous further development in that the cavities have an average longitudinal extent and, in particular orthogonal thereto, an average transverse extent, wherein the average longitudinal extent is greater than the average transverse extent and wherein the average longitudinal extent is a maximum of five times the average transverse extent. The average longitudinal extent is expediently in the range from 0.01 mm to 50 mm, preferably in the range from 0.1 to 25 mm, particularly preferably from 3 to 15 mm. Alternatively and preferably additionally, the average Transverse extent expediently in the range from 0.005 mm to 30 mm, preferably in the range from 0.5 to 10 mm, particularly preferably from 1 to 5 mm.

In an alternative embodiment of a particularly advantageous multi-layer bag according to the invention, it is provided that the front wall and/or the rear wall are at least three-layered, wherein the at least three-layered front wall and/or the at least three-layered rear wall comprise a first layer (inner layer), at least one second layer (intermediate layer) and a third layer (outer layer), wherein the first layer, with respect to the second layer, faces the inside of the bag and/or forms the inside, wherein the at least one second layer is arranged between the first and third layers and comprises or consists of a plastic film, in particular polyolefin film, wherein the third layer, with respect to the second layer, faces the outside of the bag and/or forms the outside, wherein the at least one second layer has a plurality of spaced-apart gathered or folded strip-shaped elongated regions, in particular strips, and wherein the at least one second layer is connected to the first layer by means of welded and/or adhesive seams which run transversely, in particular substantially orthogonally, to the gathered or folded strip-shaped elongated regions. and/or third layer.

For the above-described embodiment of a bag according to the invention, it is preferably provided that the first layer (inner layer) of the front and/or rear wall, in particular the first and second layers of the front and/or rear wall, each comprise or consist of at least one plastic film, in particular polyolefin film, and/or that the third layer (outer layer) of the front and/or rear wall comprises or consists of at least one plastic film, in particular polyolefin film.

In the embodiment described above, bags according to the invention are particularly suitable in which the front wall and the rear wall are at least three-layered and each comprise the first, second and third layer, wherein in particular the first and second layer and optionally also the third layer of the front or rear wall each comprise or consist of at least one plastic film, in particular polyethylene film.

Alternatively and in particular also additionally, it can be provided that the gathered strip-shaped elongated regions in cross-section, in particular essentially channel-shaped, represent protuberances, comprising opening and depression, of areas of the second layer or that the folded strip-shaped elongated regions in cross-section represent essentially Z-shaped folds of areas of the second layer. A particularly suitable development of this embodiment provides that the depression of the protuberances of the gathered strip-shaped elongated areas faces the first layer and that the opening of the gathered strip-shaped elongated areas faces the third layer.

In principle, the bags according to the invention can be designed in a variety of ways in order to still achieve the object underlying the invention. For example, bags in which the transverse dimension of the rear wall and the front wall, measured from one side edge to the opposite side edge of the bag, is smaller than the longitudinal dimension of the front wall or the rear wall, measured from the bottom end to the opening end, are also particularly suitable. Alternatively, it can be provided that the transverse dimension of the rear wall and the front wall, measured from one side edge to the opposite side edge of the bag, is larger than the longitudinal dimension of the front wall or the rear wall, measured from the bottom end to the opening end.

Furthermore, it is also possible to use bags according to the invention in which the longitudinal extent of the rear wall, measured from the bottom end to the opening end, is greater than the longitudinal extent of the front wall, measured from the bottom end to the opening end.

In order to achieve bags according to the invention with a larger conveying volume, a bottom fold can be arranged between the bottom edges of the front and rear walls, as an alternative or in addition to the provision of side walls or side folds.

A particularly high degree of moisture and/or transport safety can also be achieved by designing the front wall of the bag and/or the back wall of the bag and optionally the side walls and/or and the material strip forming the closure flap, in particular material strips, in particular plastic material strips, and/or and the continuation section, preferably the front and back walls of the bag, in multiple layers, in particular double or triple layers, for example in the form of a double or multi-layered bubble wrap.

The bags according to the invention, in particular plastic bags, expediently represent a, in particular liquid-tight, collection bag and preferably also a shipping bag for, in particular, wet, waste, in particular waste items. These are The moist waste preferably consists of used coffee capsules, in particular used coffee aluminum capsules. The present invention is accompanied by the surprising discovery that bags, preferably plastic bags, which are suitable as collection and/or shipping bags, can be obtained in a relatively practical manner and which can be sealed in a liquid-tight manner simply and reliably so that they can be used for collecting or transporting moist waste, in particular used coffee capsules and particularly preferably used coffee aluminum capsules. It has also surprisingly been shown that very efficient metal recycling is possible with the bags according to the invention, in particular shipping bags. In one possible embodiment, it is provided that the amount of bag material is negligible compared to the amount of recyclable metal, so that it does not interfere with the melting process and does not have to be separated in advance. The bags can therefore be fed into the metal melt together with the used aluminum coffee capsules contained therein.

In a very practical embodiment, the bags according to the invention already have all the necessary address data and other information for shipping on the front and/or back, as well as sufficient postage if necessary, so that they can be transported to a collection point after being handed in by the user. Alternatively, it is possible to collect the shipping bags according to the invention filled with used coffee capsules and sealed in a decentralized manner, for example in drugstores, supermarkets or pharmacies, and to recycle them from there. This means that in a practical embodiment, the shipping bag according to the invention is pre-labeled in such a way that the end user cannot make mistakes when returning it.

Figure 2 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the bag according to the invention according to Figure 1 . the first and second weld seams (12, 16) are congruent. The front wall (2) has the bag opening (10) in the form of a slot. At the first weld seam (12), the rear wall (4) in the embodiment shown merges integrally into the extension section (20). This extension section (20) has a first section (21) which adjoins the first weld seam (2) and a second section (23) which opens into the second weld seam (16). The first and second sections of the extension section (20) merge integrally into one another at the turning fold or turning section (19), the inner sides of which can be placed against one another. The handle opening (22), in particular a punched one, is congruent in both the first and second sections (21, 23) of the extension section (20). In a preferred embodiment, the peripheral edges of the recesses in the first and second sections (21, 23) that form the handle opening (22) are connected to one another continuously, in particular welded. In the embodiment shown, the second section (23) of the extension section (20) is integrally attached to the upper edge section (15) of the closure flap (14), on the inside of which the adhesive area (18) is located. By folding the closure flap (14) onto the outside of the front wall (2), the adhesive area (18) comes to lie over the bag opening (10) and closes it in a liquid-tight manner.

The in Figure 3 The embodiment of a bag (1) according to the invention shown in schematic cross-sectional view differs from the bag according to the Figures 1 and 2 that it is additionally equipped with a second material strip (26), in particular a plastic material strip, which is present between the first and the second section (21, 23) of the continuation section (20) and which, in the embodiment shown, is connected to the second section (23) of the continuation section (20). This connection can be brought about, for example, by the side edges of this material strip being in line with the side edges of the continuation section (20) and being connected, in particular welded, to it. Alternatively or additionally, the second material strip (26) can have a recess in the area of the handle opening (22), the peripheral edge of which is connected, in particular welded, together with the peripheral edges of the recesses present in the first and second sections (21, 23) that form the handle opening (22). This second material strip (26) is also fixed by the second weld seam (16). In the embodiment shown, the second material strip (26) preferably extends beyond the second weld seam (16) in the direction of the bag opening (10), for example in a length in the range of 0.5 to 2 cm. This section of the second material strip (26) extending beyond the second weld seam (16) does not necessarily have to be connected to the inside of the extension section (14).

The further embodiment of a bag according to the invention shown in schematic cross-sectional view according to Figure 4 differs from the embodiment according to the Figures 1 and 2 that the bag front wall (2) extends over an extension section (28) beyond the first weld seam (12) between the first and second sections (21, 23) of the extension section (20) beyond the handle opening and essentially up to the turning fold or turning section (19) and does not end essentially immediately after the first weld seam (12). In the embodiment shown, the extension section (28) in the area of the handle opening (22) also has a recess, the peripheral edge of which is connected, in particular welded (not shown), together with the peripheral edges of the recesses present in the first and second sections (21, 23) that form the handle opening (22). This provides additional fixation. Just like the second material strip in the embodiment according to Figure 3 The extension section (28) of the front wall (2) also contributes to improved handling and a more valuable appearance of the bag according to the invention.

The embodiment according to Figure 5 differs from the bag according to Figure 4 that the bag (1) does not require the second weld seam. The second section of the extension section (20) can also have a recess in the area of the handle opening (22). In one embodiment, the border of the recess can be connected, for example welded, to the borders of the essentially congruent recesses in the front wall (2) and in the second section (23) of the extension section (20).

The embodiment according to Figure 6 differs from the bag according to the Figures 1 and 2 that the bag (1) does not require a second weld.

The embodiment of a bag (1) according to the invention according to Figure 7 differs from the embodiment according to the Figures 1 and 2 that it does not require the extension section (20) and thus also does not require the handle opening (22). Rather, the rear wall (4) here, after the first weld seam (12), passes over a short connecting section covering the first and second weld seams (12, 16) essentially directly at the second weld seam (16) into the upper edge section (15) of the closure tab (14).

The embodiment of a bag (1) according to the invention according to Figure 8 differs from the embodiment according to Figure 7 that it does not require the second weld seam (16).
