Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door handle module for a motor vehicle at least having a carrier and a handle unit comprising a handle housing and a cover, the handle unit being designed to be movable with respect to a door of the motor vehicle at least between a rest position and an operating position and the cover at least essentially flush in the rest position is arranged to an outside of the door, wherein the panel can be connected to the handle housing via at least two form-fitting connections.
  • a door handle module is off DE 10 2006 012 063 A1 known.
  • a door handle module for a motor vehicle which comprises a carrier and a handle unit which, in the rest position, is arranged flush with a door of the motor vehicle.
  • the handle unit has a handle housing which is provided with a cover. This cover is connected to the handle housing via a clip connection and a screw connection. First, during assembly, the cover must be clipped to the housing and then the cover is screwed onto the handle housing using a screw. A worker therefore has to carry out two assembly steps in order to assemble and disassemble the cover on the handle housing.
  • the object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1, with a first positive connection, which secures the cover relative to the handle housing in the transverse direction Q, and a second positive connection, which the cover relative to the handle housing in the longitudinal direction L, at the same time when the cover is installed secures, can be produced between the handle housing and the panel, a non-destructive dismantling of the panel in the transverse direction Q can only be carried out by releasing the second form-fitting connection, with the first form-fitting connection not being able to be released until the second form-fitting connection has been released.
  • the assembly of the diaphragm is considerably simplified by the invention. This is particularly advantageous when the panel is first assembled in the factory and also when repairs are carried out in a workshop. A worker only needs to attach the cover in the transverse direction Q to the handle housing. Through this first positive connection, the cover is immediately connected to the handle housing in the transverse direction Q to the handle housing. During the assembly of the cover, a second one is needed positive connection established between the cover and the handle housing, which secures the cover in the longitudinal direction L to the handle housing. Thus, the cover is firmly, safely and rattle-free connected to the handle housing. In order to exchange an electronic unit arranged in the handle housing, for example, a worker only needs to loosen the second form-fitting connection.
  • the worker can then move the panel in the longitudinal direction L of the handle housing and remove the panel.
  • the first form-fitting connection between the cover and the handle housing is released during or during the detachment of the cover from the handle housing.
  • This simple assembly and disassembly of the cover from the handle housing saves time and thus the assembly and disassembly costs are also reduced.
  • the door handle module is fastened securely and without rattling to a door or flap of the motor vehicle, since the door handle module comprises a carrier.
  • the door has an assembly opening which is used to receive the carrier.
  • the carrier having the handle unit, is guided through the assembly opening.
  • the handle unit is then preferably not yet provided with the panel in order to prevent scratching of a layer of lacquer arranged on the panel during assembly.
  • the handle unit When the carrier has been fastened inside the door, the handle unit can be fitted with the cover at a later date. It is advisable here for the handle unit to be in a position at a distance from the door, in particular in the operating position. In this way, a simple and safe installation of the cover on the handle unit can be ensured without damaging the cover.
  • the handle unit has a recess or opening into which an object, in particular a key shaft, can be inserted in order to release the second positive connection between the cover and the handle housing.
  • an object in particular a key shaft
  • the key shaft of the motor vehicle key can be inserted into the opening or recess in order to detach the cover from the handle housing.
  • the recess or opening preferably has the dimensions of the cross section of the key shaft.
  • the opening or recess can be slightly larger than the cross section of the key shaft.
  • the key shaft can be inserted into the Recess or opening can be introduced essentially without play. The key shaft then serves as a kind of lever for releasing the second form-fitting connection.
  • the construction of the door handle module can be made very simple and compact if the opening or recess is arranged on the handle housing.
  • the opening or recess opens into a guide channel which is at least partially arranged within the handle housing.
  • the object in particular the key shaft
  • Canting of the object, in particular the key shaft, in the opening or recess is therefore excluded.
  • the guide channel can be arranged within the handle housing, when the user grips the handle unit, a deteriorated feel when pulling the handle unit is excluded. The user can operate the handle unit undisturbed without coming into contact with the guide channel.
  • the recess or opening is arranged invisibly from the outside inside the carrier in the rest position.
  • the handle unit When opening, the handle unit is moved mechanically or electrically or electromechanically into the operating position.
  • the cover of the handle unit then being arranged essentially flush with an outer skin of the door of the motor vehicle.
  • the recess or opening is then likewise arranged in a protected manner, so that the penetration of dirt and moisture into the handle housing can advantageously be restricted or even prevented.
  • the opening or recess can be provided with a rubber lip which closes the opening or recess and only opens when the object, in particular the key shaft, is passed through. The rubber lip therefore also serves as protection against moisture and dirt which could otherwise penetrate into the handle housing through the opening or recess.
  • a simple assembly or disassembly of the cover from the handle housing is carried out in a simple manner, since the second positive connection between the cover and the handle housing is only released in the operating position and / or can be carried out in an intermediate position in which the handle unit is located between a rest position and an operating position.
  • the construction of the door handle module can be carried out very inexpensively and easily if the first positive connection between the cover and the handle housing is formed by at least one latching connection.
  • the construction of the door handle module can be further simplified if the locking connection is formed by at least one locking element arranged on the panel, in particular L-shaped, and at least one counter-locking element arranged on the handle housing, the locking element being arranged behind the counter-locking element in the assembled state of the panel is to prevent transverse movement of the panel.
  • This advantageous embodiment of the door handle module prevents the cover from falling off or rattling, even in the event of strong vibrations while the motor vehicle is in motion.
  • the latching connection is also designed as an undercut connection, the latching element arranged on the fascia being in engagement with an, in particular L-shaped, undercut recess arranged on the handle housing in an assembled state of the panel. Due to the undercut recess, the first positive connection is ensured, which secures the panel in the transverse direction Q to the handle housing. Due to the, in particular L-shaped, undercut recess, when the panel is removed from the handle housing, it can be detached from the handle housing easily and safely.
  • An additional release of the locking connection in the transverse direction Q to the handle housing can advantageously be dispensed with, so that the cover must be moved in the longitudinal direction L of the handle housing during dismantling and can then be removed in the transverse direction Q without resistance and without releasing a positive connection.
  • The, in particular L-shaped, undercut then even serves as a guide for the locking element arranged on the cover, which is preferably also L-shaped, when the cover is removed from the handle housing.
  • the undercut recess in particular a wall of the undercut recess, is at least partially formed by the counter-locking element.
  • the wall is advantageously used to produce the latching connection and can also serve as a guide for the locking element when removing the cover from the handle housing.
  • the dismantling of the cover from the handle housing can be carried out easily if the second positive connection between the cover and the handle housing is formed by at least one clip connection.
  • the clip connection can be released easily and safely by inserting the object into the opening or recess of the handle housing.
  • the key shaft of the motor vehicle key can be used to release the clip connection.
  • the clip connection is provided by a projection on the cover and one on the handle housing arranged elastically movable clip is formed, wherein in the assembled state of the panel on the handle housing, the clip contacts the projection in order to secure the panel in the longitudinal direction L.
  • the manufacturing costs can be reduced if the projection is formed in one piece with the screen.
  • the diaphragm and the projection are then preferably formed from the same plastic. It is also advisable to design the screen with the projection arranged on it as an injection-molded part.
  • the second form-fitting connection between the cover and the handle housing can be carried out several times afterwards if the clip is designed to be elastic and is preferably made of plastic.
  • the tongue projection serves as a contact surface for the object introduced through the opening or recess, in particular for the key shaft.
  • the clip connection can be designed to be secure and robust if the elastically movable clip is designed as an L-shaped tongue.
  • the L-shaped tongue can serve as a stop for the projection if a tongue projection is arranged on the L-shaped tongue, which tongue projection is arranged opposite the opening or recess, in particular opposite the guide channel.
  • the second form-fitting connection between the cover and the handle housing can be released easily and safely when the cover is dismantled from the handle housing if the elastic clip is movable when the object is inserted is designed to release the second positive connection, in particular the contact between the projection and the clip.
  • cover and the handle housing can be connected by a third form-fitting connection, the third form-fitting connection being designed as a rib-groove connection, which is formed by at least one on the cover arranged groove and is formed by at least one rib element arranged on the handle housing, or which is formed by at least one rib element arranged on the panel and by at least one groove arranged on the handle housing.
  • the cover and the handle housing can already be provided with one or more grooves or with one or more ribs in a simple and inexpensive manner during the manufacturing process, in particular when the cover and the handle housing are made of plastic.
  • the first form-fitting connection and the third form-fitting connection which additionally secures the panel in the longitudinal direction L, can be produced between the handle housing and the panel.
  • the installation time of the panel on the handle housing is considerably reduced and, in addition, the connection between the panel and the handle housing is made even more secure.
  • a non-destructive dismantling of the cover can only be carried out by releasing the second form-fitting connection, the third form-fitting connection not being able to be released until the second form-fitting connection has been released.
