- A knife (10) having a casing (11), wherein a blade support (12) can be moved between a safety position in which a blade (17) held on the blade support (12) is 5 recessed in the casing, a cutting position in which the blade (17) projects out of the casing (11), and a blade-change position in which the blade (17) projects out of the casing (11) to a greater extent than in the cutting position, and the knife (10) has an actuator that comprises a handle 10 (13) with which the blade support (12) can be moved, whereby the knife (10) has a latch (16) enabling the blade support (12) to be fixed in the blade-change position in an indirectly or directly releasable manner.
characterized in that the handle (13) can be moved between an unactuated position and an actuated position; in the unactuated position, the blade support (12) is in the safety position; and in the actuated position the blade support (12) is in the cutting position. - The knife according to claim 1, characterized in that the latch (16) can be moved between a blocking position and a unblocking position, movement of the blade support (12) is locked in the blocking position, and movement of the blade support (12) is allowed in the unblocking position.
- The knife according to claim 2, characterized in that in the blocking position the latch (16) is directly or indirectly engaged with the blade support (12) or with the actuator.
- The knife according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that in the blocking position the latch (16) is directly engaged with the handle (13).
- The knife according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that in the cutting position the blade support (12) or the actuator is in contact with a first stop (14).
- The knife according to claim 5, characterized in that the first stop (14) can be moved between a limiting position in which the first stop (14) is in a path of movement of the blade support (12), and a 10 freeing position in which the first stop (12) is offset from the path of movement of the blade support (12).
- The knife according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that in the blade-change position the blade support (12) or the actuator is in contact with a second stop (21).
- The knife according to claim 7, characterized in that the second stop (21) is formed from a face of the casing (11) and in the blade-change position the handle (13) is in contact with the face.
- The knife according to claim 1, characterized in that the handle (13) can be moved beyond the actuated position into an end position in which the blade support (12) is in the bladechange position.
- The knife according to any of the preceding claims, 10 characterized in that the handle (13) is pivotal on the casing (11).
