- Packaging containers made of cardboard for holding food are known in a variety of forms and configurations; However, so far there is no packaging container for toast products or sandwiches, which is characterized in that it is easy to open and the food product in the open state is easily removed. Most known carton packaging containers, such as candy boxes, are characterized in that one surface side or surface wall is either hinged or completely removable from a bottom part in the case of a two-part container.
- a packaging container folded from a one-piece substrate cut is known for holding cigarettes and narrow cigars.
- An opening which can be produced by tearing has a small longitudinal extent.
- the US 2,404,312 A describes a cigarette packaging.
- the DE 20 2012 001 927 U1 describes a folding box with oval edges.
- the US 2,367,706 A describes a paper package with a telescope section.
- the present invention seeks to provide a suitable in particular for receiving flat food products, preferably made of cardboard packaging container, which is foldable from a one-piece substrate cut and which is characterized by a comfortable handling, such that the packaging container easy to open and the food product is easy to remove. Furthermore, the object is to provide a substrate blank for such a packaging container.
- the opening section overlaps a fixed first peripheral wall section in the circumferential direction, in particular against a tearing direction, and is fixed with this first overlapping section to the first peripheral wall section, in particular by gluing, preferably such that an adhesive area or portion is spaced from a counter to a tear in the circumferential direction located first end of the overlapping portion to allow to grip the overlapping portion of the opening portion of its circumferentially opposite the tear direction oriented end and by pulling first the connection to the underlying, fixed peripheral wall portion solve and tear in the further opening movement, preferably as a line of weakness, in particular as a perforation line formed fold line along its longitudinal extent or tear, then in the To obtain an open peripheral wall or a circumferentially extending opening whose opening width corresponds to the distance of the side surfaces in this area, in this way, the packaged food product slide out, the large opening width allows the thickness of the food product initially approximately the Distance of the surface sides corresponds.
- the fold line has the function of a control seal.
- the opening section ruptures so that essentially only the two, preferably at least approximately parallel surface sides remain in the opening region, so that the width of the opening, measured perpendicular to the circumferential extent at least approximately equal to the distance of the surface sides.
- the invention provides that the opening has a length measured perpendicular to its width, which corresponds to the distance of two mutually opposite, preferably parallel fixed peripheral wall sections.
- the opening length does not necessarily mean its circumferential extent, but the length of the obtained free cross-sectional area which is relevant for the removal of the food product.
- the width of the cross-sectional area corresponds to the previously discussed opening width.
- the first overlapping section of the opening section is bonded to the first stationary peripheral wall section in a first adhesive section.
- the adhesive portion is bounded by at least partially surrounding the first adhesive portion, preferably designed as a score line weakening line , Preferably, this weakening line runs completely around the adhesive section.
- the weakening line causes the packaging to tear open in a defined manner and not to be destroyed indefinitely during the tearing process.

- the opening section projects beyond a fixed overlapping wall section not only in a region located in the circumferential direction, but in the region of both end regions lying in opposite circumferential directions.
- the opening portion overlaps with a second overlapping portion facing away from the first overlap portion a fixed second peripheral wall portion in the circumferential direction and is fixed to the second peripheral portion, in particular by gluing.
- the user can choose in which direction he wants to tear the opening portion, in other words, the package is openable on its peripheral wall alternatively in two mutually opposite directions.
- Such a configuration also makes it possible, after rupturing the fold line formed as a line of weakness, over which the opening portion is materially connected to one of the side surfaces, completely demolished.
- the procedure is preferably such that, starting from an overlapping area, an adhesive bond to the fixed peripheral wall is first loosened, then pulled further and the fold line is separated and then the opposite bonding area of the further overlapping section is released by tearing at the end of the opening process.
- connection of the second overlapping section to the second stationary peripheral wall section likewise has a weakening line which circumscribes an adhesive section in order thus to permit a defined opening.
- the intended two peripheral wall sections which are further overlapped by both circumferential directions which are opposite from one another by the opening section, are opposite or on two opposite, preferably parallel sides of the package, so that an entire peripheral wall side of a preferably at least approximately cuboid packaging is completely rupturable.
- the opening section which can be torn open or torn off in the circumferential direction is connected to one of the two surface sides by means of a fold line designed as a line of weakness.
- the opening section is delimited by a further fold line which runs parallel to the fold line designed as a line of weakness, the further fold line connecting the opening section with a folded-over tab.
- This tab can now be glued according to a first alternative with the opposite surface side, more precisely with the inside.
- the tab is simply folded inwards into the package, which provides sufficient security.
- the fold line of the tab is also formed as a weakening line, in particular as a perforation line.
- the opening portion has two circumferentially spaced and preferably over a circumferential angle of 90 ° extending arc sections, wherein it is particularly preferred if at least one of the arc sections adjacent to an overlap section with which the opening portion overlaps a stuck peripheral wall portion against a tearing direction.
- the opening portion in the region of its arcuate portions, that is laterally of the arcuate portions is not firmly connected to the surface sides.
- each arc section has a plurality of parallel and perpendicular to the circumferential extent of the opening portion extending bending lines to thereby form joints that ensure that bent the arc section defined is.
- the opening section preferably the entire peripheral wall, is arranged at right angles to the surface sides, in order to obtain at least approximately a parallelepiped shape, which optionally may have arc sections in the region of the opening section, as explained above.
- one of the surface sides is integrally connected to two opposing peripheral wall sections and in each case over an angular portion which extends at an angle to both the surface side and to the associated peripheral wall portion, wherein the two peripheral wall sections preferably perpendicular to the surface side are arranged.
- the angle sections preferably extend at least approximately at a 45 ° angle to the surface side and to the respective peripheral wall section.
- each angle section are connected to the surface side by a first fold line bent along its longitudinal extent with the associated peripheral wall section and a second fold line bent in the direction of its longitudinal extent, wherein the curvature or bending of the Folding lines is oriented away from one another, preferably such that the angle section in a central region of its longitudinal extent have a greater width measured perpendicular to the longitudinal extent than in an edge region.
- One optical, desirable side effect of the angle sections is that they are reminiscent of the shape of a Toastandwiches.
- a food product to be received in the packaging container, which is preferably a toasted or toastable food product which even more preferably has two toast bread surface sides, between which a filling comprising preferably cheese is received.
- the bread area sides are fully interconnected so as to safely prevent leakage of the filling.
- the invention also leads to a one-piece substrate blank, in particular a cardboard blank, for folding a packaging container according to the concept of the invention formed as described above.
- the one-piece substrate section comprises two surface side regions which form the surface sides of the packaging container in the folded state, the two surface sides being connected in each case via a fold line to a peripheral wall region over which the surface side regions are spaced from one another.
- an opening portion forming peripheral wall area is defined by a folding line, in particular perforation line formed fold line, wherein the opening portion is dimensioned so that in the folded state, the peripheral wall portion in the circumferential direction with a Overlap portion overlaps and with this at the peripheral wall area can be fixed, in particular festklebbar, preferably on both sides.

Based on the aforementioned prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a suitable in particular for receiving flat food products, preferably made of cardboard packaging container, which is foldable from a one-piece substrate cut and which is characterized by a comfortable handling, such that the packaging container easy to open and the food product is easy to remove. Furthermore, the object is to provide a substrate blank for such a packaging container.
This object is achieved with regard to the packaging container with the features of claim 1 and with respect to the substrate section with the features of
The invention is based on the idea, the packaging container in the region of its peripheral wall, ie openable in the region of its narrow sides, such that an opening portion (= opening wall portion) of the peripheral wall in the circumferential direction can be torn open, such that in this opening operation designed as a weakening line and itself circumferentially extending fold line around which the opening portion is folded over the face sides, along the longitudinal extent of the fold line tears open and so an opening for removing the food is released, the opening width corresponds to the circumferential extent of the opening portion at least approximately the distance of the side walls in an adjacent to the opening portion area. Furthermore, it is provided that the opening section (before opening) overlaps a fixed first peripheral wall section in the circumferential direction, in particular against a tearing direction, and is fixed with this first overlapping section to the first peripheral wall section, in particular by gluing, preferably such that an adhesive area or portion is spaced from a counter to a tear in the circumferential direction located first end of the overlapping portion to allow to grip the overlapping portion of the opening portion of its circumferentially opposite the tear direction oriented end and by pulling first the connection to the underlying, fixed peripheral wall portion solve and tear in the further opening movement, preferably as a line of weakness, in particular as a perforation line formed fold line along its longitudinal extent or tear, then in the To obtain an open peripheral wall or a circumferentially extending opening whose opening width corresponds to the distance of the side surfaces in this area, in this way, the packaged food product slide out, the large opening width allows the thickness of the food product initially approximately the Distance of the surface sides corresponds. The fold line has the function of a control seal.
As mentioned above, it is an essential feature of the invention that the opening section ruptures so that essentially only the two, preferably at least approximately parallel surface sides remain in the opening region, so that the width of the opening, measured perpendicular to the circumferential extent at least approximately equal to the distance of the surface sides. In order to facilitate the removal of a food product further, the invention provides that the opening has a length measured perpendicular to its width, which corresponds to the distance of two mutually opposite, preferably parallel fixed peripheral wall sections. Here, the opening length does not necessarily mean its circumferential extent, but the length of the obtained free cross-sectional area which is relevant for the removal of the food product. The width of the cross-sectional area corresponds to the previously discussed opening width.
As mentioned above, it is particularly preferred if the first overlapping section of the opening section is bonded to the first stationary peripheral wall section in a first adhesive section. In order to allow a particularly simple and above all defined tearing or loosening of the overlapping portion of the underlying first peripheral wall portion is provided in a further development of the invention that the adhesive portion is bounded by at least partially surrounding the first adhesive portion, preferably designed as a score line weakening line , Preferably, this weakening line runs completely around the adhesive section. The weakening line causes the packaging to tear open in a defined manner and not to be destroyed indefinitely during the tearing process. Preferably, the at least partially around the adhesive portion circumferential line of weakness is located within the fixed peripheral wall portion. Additionally or alternatively, such, especially in the area stamped line of weakness can be provided on an inner side of the first overlap portion.
It is particularly expedient if the opening section projects beyond a fixed overlapping wall section not only in a region located in the circumferential direction, but in the region of both end regions lying in opposite circumferential directions.
In a further development of the invention is advantageously provided that the opening portion overlaps with a second overlapping portion facing away from the first overlap portion a fixed second peripheral wall portion in the circumferential direction and is fixed to the second peripheral portion, in particular by gluing. In this way, the user can choose in which direction he wants to tear the opening portion, in other words, the package is openable on its peripheral wall alternatively in two mutually opposite directions. Such a configuration also makes it possible, after rupturing the fold line formed as a line of weakness, over which the opening portion is materially connected to one of the side surfaces, completely demolished. For this purpose, the procedure is preferably such that, starting from an overlapping area, an adhesive bond to the fixed peripheral wall is first loosened, then pulled further and the fold line is separated and then the opposite bonding area of the further overlapping section is released by tearing at the end of the opening process.
In this case, it is particularly expedient if the connection of the second overlapping section to the second stationary peripheral wall section likewise has a weakening line which circumscribes an adhesive section in order thus to permit a defined opening.
For this purpose, the intended two peripheral wall sections, which are further overlapped by both circumferential directions which are opposite from one another by the opening section, are opposite or on two opposite, preferably parallel sides of the package, so that an entire peripheral wall side of a preferably at least approximately cuboid packaging is completely rupturable.
As mentioned above, it is essential that the opening section which can be torn open or torn off in the circumferential direction is connected to one of the two surface sides by means of a fold line designed as a line of weakness. According to the invention, the opening section is delimited by a further fold line which runs parallel to the fold line designed as a line of weakness, the further fold line connecting the opening section with a folded-over tab. This tab can now be glued according to a first alternative with the opposite surface side, more precisely with the inside. According to a second alternative, the tab is simply folded inwards into the package, which provides sufficient security.
In the case of bonding the tab, it is preferred if the fold line of the tab is also formed as a weakening line, in particular as a perforation line.
To obtain a pleasing aesthetic impression and to facilitate the opening operation, it is preferred if the opening portion has two circumferentially spaced and preferably over a circumferential angle of 90 ° extending arc sections, wherein it is particularly preferred if at least one of the arc sections adjacent to an overlap section with which the opening portion overlaps a stuck peripheral wall portion against a tearing direction. Preferably, the opening portion in the region of its arcuate portions, that is laterally of the arcuate portions is not firmly connected to the surface sides.
In order to create the impression of a more or less continuous or regularly curved arc section, it is provided according to the invention that each arc section has a plurality of parallel and perpendicular to the circumferential extent of the opening portion extending bending lines to thereby form joints that ensure that bent the arc section defined is.
It is particularly expedient if the opening section, preferably the entire peripheral wall, is arranged at right angles to the surface sides, in order to obtain at least approximately a parallelepiped shape, which optionally may have arc sections in the region of the opening section, as explained above.
To stabilize the packaging container is provided according to the development that one of the surface sides is integrally connected to two opposing peripheral wall sections and in each case over an angular portion which extends at an angle to both the surface side and to the associated peripheral wall portion, wherein the two peripheral wall sections preferably perpendicular to the surface side are arranged. In this case, the angle sections preferably extend at least approximately at a 45 ° angle to the surface side and to the respective peripheral wall section. In order to enable the angled orientation, it is provided that each angle section are connected to the surface side by a first fold line bent along its longitudinal extent with the associated peripheral wall section and a second fold line bent in the direction of its longitudinal extent, wherein the curvature or bending of the Folding lines is oriented away from one another, preferably such that the angle section in a central region of its longitudinal extent have a greater width measured perpendicular to the longitudinal extent than in an edge region. One optical, desirable side effect of the angle sections is that they are reminiscent of the shape of a Toastandwiches.
It is particularly expedient for a food product to be received in the packaging container, which is preferably a toasted or toastable food product which even more preferably has two toast bread surface sides, between which a filling comprising preferably cheese is received.
Preferably, the bread area sides are fully interconnected so as to safely prevent leakage of the filling.
It is particularly expedient if further education according to the food product is packaged in a plastic film or in a plastic bag, which is located together with the food product in the packaging container.
The invention also leads to a one-piece substrate blank, in particular a cardboard blank, for folding a packaging container according to the concept of the invention formed as described above. The one-piece substrate section comprises two surface side regions which form the surface sides of the packaging container in the folded state, the two surface sides being connected in each case via a fold line to a peripheral wall region over which the surface side regions are spaced from one another. In addition, it is provided that on one of the surface side regions, in a folded packaging box an opening portion forming peripheral wall area is defined by a folding line, in particular perforation line formed fold line, wherein the opening portion is dimensioned so that in the folded state, the peripheral wall portion in the circumferential direction with a Overlap portion overlaps and with this at the peripheral wall area can be fixed, in particular festklebbar, preferably on both sides.
