that the locking mechanism has a locking element (11), which can be arranged between a locking position and a release position swivel-mounted on a sliding shoe (10), via which the end of the control lever (6) on the sash side is mounted in a linearly movable manner and by rotary motion on the guide (8) on the sash side, wherein the locking element (11) is loaded by a spring (12) with spring force such that it is pushed without the impact of external force from its locking position in the direction of a release position, wherein the locking element (11) upon reaching the open position of the sash (1) interacts with a stop (13) of the device which can be fastened to the sash (1) such that the locking element (11) is swiveled against the spring force from its release position into its locking position, in which the locking element (11) for setting the open position of the sash (1) can interact with a twist lock (15) arranged on a push rod (14) which can be actuated by the handle of the sash (1), if the twist lock (15) has been transferred by actuation of the handle to its locking bar position. - A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking element (11) has a locking stop, which interacts relative to the guide (8) on the sash side with the stop (13) which can be fastened to the sash (1) when locking has taken place of the position of the end on the sash side of the control lever (6) corresponding to the open position of the sash (1).
- A parallel vent window (2), parallel vent door or the like, characterized by at least one device according to one of the preceding claims.
