Die Zeitungsseiten sind vorzugsweise in Broadsheetanordnung hergestellt, d. h. auf die Bahn werden bzw. sind die Druckseiten des späteren Produktes derart orientiert, dass deren Seitenkopf und -fuß in Bahnlängsrichtung beabstandet sind bzw. deren linker und rechter Seitenrand parallel zur Bahnkante verlaufen. Entsprechend sind die Druckbildvorlagen der Druckseiten auf dem Formzylinder in Umfangsrichtung stehend angeordnet. Neben den üblichen Zeitungs(broadsheet-)produkten ist die hier dargelegte Zeitungsdruckmaschine auch dazu ausgebildet, hier mit "P" bezeichnete Produkte P, insbesondere Zeitungsprodukte P, herzustellen, welche mindestens eine Lage S, z. B. überbreite Lage S, aufweist, welche in vollständig geöffnetem Zustand eine Breite von mehr als zwei, vorzugsweise von mehr als drei Seiten des betreffenden Zeitungsformates aufweist (

Claims (17)
- Newspaper product or newspaper product section, in particular produced by a method according to one or more of Claims 3 to 15, having at least one outer two-page-wide ply (L) and at least one inner, at least two two-page-wide ply (L; S), the at least two plies in the closed state in each case being folded lengthwise along a lengthwise folding line (F) and arranged in one another, and the at least two plies (L) of the lengthwise folding line (F) having two vertical printed pages or a print image uninterrupted over two vertical printed pages, the at least one inner ply (S) having a foldable outer region (21) at least on a lengthwise side of its two-page-wide lengthwise-folded central region (19) running parallel to the lengthwise folding line (F), this foldable outer region (21) being connected cohesively by gluing in the region of its lateral edge with the lateral edge region of the two-page-wide central region (19) and forming an over-wide ply (S) with the central region (19), and the outer region (21) in the folded state extending beyond the width of the other product (P) and continuing the central region (19) laterally, a print image of a presentation, extending uninterrupted without white strips, reaching over more than two pages on the folded over-wide ply (S).

- Method according to Claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the second web strand (04a) is cut open lengthwise, and a respective outer-lying edge region of the two part web strands (04a) cut open longitudinally is cohesively connected to the two outer-lying edge regions of the uncut first web strand (04b), in particular by gluing, before the uncut, two-page-wide first web strand (04b) with its connected part web strands (04a1; 04a2) is guided to the folder former (13) for its lengthwise folding.
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the first web strand (04b) and the second web strand (04a) are produced from a same printed web (04) by longitudinal section, and in that the one web strand (04a; 04a1; 04a2) is guided onto the other web strand (04b) by a turn.
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the first web strand (04b) and the second web strand (04a) result from different webs (04) printed in different printing towers (01).
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 7, characterised in that the web (04) receives ink by means of a forme cylinder (05), which has a length of at least four vertical newspaper pages.
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 8, characterised in that at least one at least two newspaper page-wide printing forme (26; 28) is arranged on the forme cylinder (05), by means of which the first web strand (04b) receives its print image.
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 9, characterised in that a satined and/or heavily coated paper with a coating weight of more than 10 g/m2 is used for the first web strand (04b) and/or the second web strand (04a) or for a web (04) which is cut into the first and second web strand (04a; 04b).
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 10, characterised in that the first web strand (04b) and/or second web strand (04a) or a web (04), which is cut into the first and second web strand (04a; 04b), is led through a dryer (09).
- Method according to one or more of the above Claims 3 to 11, characterised in that at least one third web (06) or third web strand (06) is printed by a further printing unit (02), in particular a further printing tower (06).

- Device for the production of a product (P), which has an over-wide ply (S) with a two-page-wide central region (19) having a lengthwise fold (20) and an outer region (21) continuing this on at least one page of the central region (19), having at least one printing tower (01) passed through essentially vertically by a web (04), the printing tower (01) having several printing mechanisms in each case having a forme cylinder (05), having a superstructure (07) and having a former structure (03) containing at least one folder former (13), the superstructure (07) being designed with guide elements such that a first web strand (04b) of two-page-wide design forming the central region (19) in the product (P) and an at most one-page-wide second web strand (04a; 04a1; 04a2) of at most one-page wide design forming the outer region (21) in the product (P) can be guided over each other such that their page edges at least lie on a same strand page in a same alignment, an application device (14) being arranged upstream of the folder structure (03) on the web path of one of the two webs (04) or web strands (04a; 04b; 04a1; 04a2) such that it applies adhesive to an edge region of one of the two webs (04) or web strands (04a; 04b; 04a1; 04a2) so that the two web strands (04b; 04a1; 04a2) on guiding together before the folder structure (03) or on a roll (16) upstream prioritised to a folder former (13) in contact with each other and can be connected cohesively with each other on the edge by means of the adhesive (15) to give a strand (17), and the print images arranged on the forme cylinders (05) for the central region (19) and the outer region (21) being exposed and/or aligned so that an uninterrupted print image without white strips extends reaching over more than two pages on the folded over-wide ply (S).
