Abstract

The furniture (30) has a support rod (10) including a star-shaped cross-section tapered at an end turned toward a plate (20) such that shape of a recess is adjusted to the star-shaped cross-section of the support rod to form the recess similar to the star-shaped cross-section. Description

The invention relates to a piece of furniture with at least one support bar referred to in the preamble of claim 1. Art Such furniture find many uses, especially in store, on fairs, exhibitions but also in homes and the like. The support rod is fixed to a plate and there are other elements provided on the support rod, such as goods carriers, decorative elements, informative elements or the like. In a known device of this type, the support rod has at its one end a cone while a socket is provided in the plate. The cone is inserted into the socket and fixed there by means of a bolt provided on the cone. This device has the disadvantage that it is very sensitive to contamination. If there are dust, dirt particles, threads or the like in the area of the bushing or the cone, a secure mounting of the support rod can no longer take place. The support bar is only shaky and can fall over in the worst case, which can lead to injury or property damage. Also, when rebuilding the support bar, for example, if several first recesses are provided in the plate, special care must be taken to ensure that the support bar really really safe and correct in the socket is supported. Even in the production of the plate or the support rod strict tolerances must be met, otherwise the system is unstable. This makes the device complex and expensive to manufacture. The object of the invention is therefore to provide a piece of furniture of the type mentioned, which is cheaper and easier to manufacture and which is designed much simpler and more robust during assembly, so that less assembly errors can happen. This object is solved by the characterizing features of claim 1, which have the following special significance.

The support rod has a star-shaped cross-section which tapers towards the end facing the first plate. The shape of the first recesses is also adapted to this star-shaped cross section of the support rod. Preferably, the shape of the first recess is formed similar to the cross section of the support rod. Furthermore, a second recess is provided which is located in a second plate parallel to the insertion direction of the support rod below the first recess of the first plate. Preferably, the first and second plates are also arranged parallel to each other. The second recess is preferably similar but smaller than the first recess. Of course, a plurality of first and / or second recesses may be provided. The support rod can be inserted with its one end in the first and the second recess, whereby an assembly state arises. Hereby, the assembly and disassembly of the support bar is particularly easy to implement. The support rod can therefore be quickly and easily introduced into the plates or even removed from them, for example, to decorate, rebuild or to transport the furniture. The fact that the support rod is arranged with its one end in the recesses, the risk of incorrect installation is very low. Also soiling does not change much on the stability of the support rod in the recesses. The support rod is quasi only with the edges of their star-shaped cross-section in the recesses, so that the support surfaces are kept extremely small. In the production of the first and second recesses and in the production of the support rod and no too strict tolerances must be considered, since the system is very robust and insensitive. This makes the production significantly cheaper.

In a first embodiment, a socket is provided, which forms the first and the second plate. The socket has in each case a first and a second recess. A single support bar is insertable into this socket. The socket itself, I can be arranged another piece of furniture. This results in a very flexible furniture. By forming a socket, the support rod according to the invention can be integrated into almost any piece of furniture.

In a further embodiment, a housing is provided, which forms the first and the second plate. In this case, the first plate has a plurality of first recesses and the second plate has a plurality of second recesses, in each of which basically one support bar can be inserted, but the number and arrangement of the support rods used can vary. Such a housing is very flexible, since different numbers of support rods can be attached to a variety of locations. This can be redecorated in a single housing by the number and / or arrangement of the support rods is varied.

In a preferred embodiment, the support rod can be produced from several flat components by plugging together. Here, one or more receptacles are preferably used, which are provided in the sheet-like components. Preferably, the sheet-like components are then fixed to each other, for example by welding, gluing or the like. This provides a particularly inexpensive and easy way of producing the support rod, so that further costs can be saved here. Particularly inexpensive is the production, when the flat components are formed congruent to each other. This brings further savings in the production of the necessary tools as well as in warehousing with it.

Preferably, the support rod and / or the first plate and / or the second plate and / or the socket and / or the housing entirely or partially made of metal, plastic, glass or a composite material. Of course, any combination of these materials is possible. Due to the fact that the furniture can be manufactured from the most diverse materials, different designs can be achieved. Which material is used exactly depends on the respective application.

In a further preferred embodiment, the support rod and / or the first plate and / or the second plate at least partially made of a transparent material. This area can then be designed to be illuminated, for example by LEDs. This lighting results in a particularly appealing overall appearance.

The Fig. 1 to 4 show a first embodiment of the device according to the invention. The support rod 10 has a star-shaped cross-section 13 and can be guided with its one end 11 through a first recess 21 and through a second recess 23 arranged parallel to this first recess 21. The one end 11 of the support rod 10 has a taper 14. With this taper 14, the support rod 10 engages in the recesses 21, 23 a. The first recess 21 is arranged in a first plate 20, the second recess 23 in a second plate 22. The two plates 20, 22 are parallel to each other. The second recess 23 is viewed in the insertion direction 15 of the support rod 10, arranged parallel below the first recess 21. The two plates 20, 22 form a bushing 31, in each of which a first 21 and a second recess 23 are arranged. Thus, a support bar 10 can be arranged in the bushing 31 exactly.

The support bar 10 itself here consists of two flat components 16. These are here plugged together and welded together. The support bar 10 shown here has a star-shaped cross section 13 with four prongs. Claims (7)

1. Furniture (30) with at least one supporting rod (10) and with at least one initial plate (20) upon which the supporting rod or supporting rods (10) can be installed,
