Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Spleißvorrichtung (13) und ein Verfahren zum Transport und zur Zuführung von Kunststofffolie (8) zu einer Verarbeitungsstation zum Verpacken von Artikeln durch Umhüllen mit der Kunststofffolie (8) und optionales anschließendes Aufschrumpfen der Folie. Bei dieser Vorrichtung ist ein Folienrollenvorrat mit wenigstens drei separaten, nacheinander einer Fördereinrichtung zuführbaren Folienrollen (1 - 6) sowie eine zwischen der Fördereinrichtung und den Folienrollen (1 - 6) angeordnete Fixierungs- und Befestigungseinrichtung (20, 24, 26) zur Fixierung der Folienenden der noch vollen Folienrollen (2 - 6) und zur steuerbaren Befestigung eines der Folienenden einer der vollen Folienrollen (2 - 6) mit der zur Verarbeitungsstation führenden Folienbahn vorgesehen.
