Container comprising a vessel (1) and a cover (2), the vessel (1) having an upper edge (10) extended by an outer annular side edge (11), the cover (2) comprising a lower support wall (20) surrounded by a lower annular edge (21), at least two retaining members (30) being arranged inside the lower annular edge (21), the outer annular side edge (11) and the lower annular edge (21) have non-circular geometries, the retaining members (30) being arranged outside of the portions of the outer annular side edge (11) having the smallest bend radiuses, the lower annular edge (21) having several sides (24) connected together by rounded edges (25), characterised in that the outer annular side edge (11) extends beyond retaining thresholds (40), likely to be crossed by the retaining members (30) when the cover (2) is implemented on the vessel (1), in that the retaining members (30) bear against the outer annular side edge (11) beyond said retaining thresholds (40) when the cover (2) rests on the vessel (1), and in that the lower annular edge (21) is elastically deformed bending on the sides (24) on either side of the retaining members (30), the rounded edges (25) forming rigidifying elements.
  2. Container according to claim 1, characterised in that the lower annular edge (21) is inclined towards the inside of the cover (2) with respect to an outer edge (26) of the cover (2).
  3. Container according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the retaining thresholds (40) are connected to the upper edge of the vessel (1) by rounded surfaces (17).
  4. Container according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the retaining members (30) have a bevelled lower face (31).
  5. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the retaining thresholds (40) are extended opposite the upper edge (10) of the vessel (1) by an inclined wall (18) having a clearance angle of less than 5°.
  6. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the retaining members (30) are regularly spaced inside the lower annular edge (21).
  7. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the cover (2) comprises between two and six retaining members (30).
  8. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the outer annular side edge (11) has several faces (15) connected together by curved zones (16).
  9. Container according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that a retaining member (30) is arranged inside each of the sides (24).
  10. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the cover (2) has rigidification means (22) surrounded by the lower support wall (20).
  11. Container according to claim 10, characterised in that the rigidification means (22) are formed by a central concavity (23) of the cover (2).
  12. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the cover (2) is made of rigid plastic material.
