Description

The present invention relates to a hinged awning with double cloth web as sun or heat protection.

Articulated awnings comprise at least two or more articulated arms and a cloth shaft, which are responsible for extending the awning fabric. The arms of the awning are usually extended by means of steel or gas springs. Such generic hinge awnings are for example in the DE 10 2005 040 756 A1 . DE 261 35 83 C2 . DE 244 35 96 B2 or the DE 20 2007 017 835 A1 described. A hinge awning according to the preamble of claim 1 is characterized by EP 1 746 216 A2 disclosed. Many of the known articulated awnings have open articulated arms, in which the roller shaft is visible. For closed awnings, the fabric shaft is protected by a housing. The articulated arms used in articulated awnings are necessary to ensure the largest possible extension range of the awning. As a result, even large and heavy awning structures are possible. A disadvantage of the known articulated awning, however, that depending on the arrangement, the articulated arms are always visible from one side, ie either the articulated arms are visible from below from the ground, or (for example, in a hotel building from an upper floor) visible from above. Both constructions therefore do not meet the high standards demanded in particular in the commercial sector, for example in hotels or in the upscale catering industry.

Against this background, it is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a hinge awning, in which the articulated arms required for the extension of the awning fabric are laminated on both sides.

This object is achieved by a hinged awning with the features of claim 1. Preferred embodiments can be found in the subclaims again.

The awning of the invention serves as sun or heat protection and consists of two awning fabrics, which are extended by a respective fabric shaft via at least one articulated arm together and simultaneously stretched. The two cloth shafts are preferably arranged one above the other. The articulated arm (s) is / are laminated from above and below through the two awning cloths. Thus, according to the invention above the articulated arm, a first fabric shaft with an upper awning fabric and below the articulated arm, a second fabric shaft with a lower awning fabric arranged. The articulated arm is guided between the tracks of the two awning cloths. The two awning cloths are held at the end of the articulated arm by a closing element.

Preferably, the first roller shaft and the second roller shaft are mounted in a common cloth shaft bracket. For this purpose, the cloth shaft console has in each case a first receiving area for receiving the first cloth shaft and a further receiving area for receiving the second cloth shaft. In one embodiment, the cloth shaft bracket holds the two cloth shafts stored in the respective receiving areas. The articulated arm has one or more Gelenkarmlager, which is preferably arranged in the cloth shaft bracket between the two cloth shafts. The drive of the two cloth shafts in a conventional manner, for example via a pneumatic spring.

When extending the articulated arm (or the articulated arms), the upper awning fabric and the lower awning fabric are simultaneously unwound from the respective fabric shaft. Preferably, the two cloth shafts are connected to each other via a carrier and are held by this objected. In an alternative embodiment, it may also be provided that, instead of a single cloth shaft console, the first and the second cloth shaft are mounted in two individual cloth shaft brackets.

The upper and lower awning cloth is preferably connected to the closing element via clamping grooves.

The solution according to the invention has the advantage that the articulated arm construction is concealed from above and through the lower awning cloth from below through the upper awning cloth of the articulated arm. Due to this type of lamination, the articulated arm is no longer visible from both sides.

The invention will be explained in more detail in the following drawings.
