Fibre de sécurité destinée à être utilisée dans la protection contre les contrefaçons, la fibre de sécurité étant appropriée pour une incorporation dans un produit papetier, la fibre de sécurité se présentant sous la forme d'une feuille de papier ou d'un substrat à base de cellulose, et comprenant une région colorée, dans laquelle la région colorée se compose d'une pluralité de couleurs différentes, caractérisée en ce que la fibre de sécurité comprend en outre une première marge et une seconde marge, les marges étant des régions non imprimées adjacentes à la région colorée, de telle sorte que la région colorée se situe entre les première et seconde marges.
  2. Fibre de sécurité selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la région colorée est visible seulement sous une lumière ultraviolette.
  3. Fibre de sécurité selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, dans laquelle la marge n'est pas visible sous une lumière ultraviolette.
  4. Fibre de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant un substrat transparent.
  5. Fibre de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la fibre de sécurité présente une longueur comprise entre 3,5 mm et 9 mm, et une largeur comprise entre 0,2 mm et 6 mm.
  6. Fibre de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans laquelle la région colorée se situe approximativement au centre de la fibre de sécurité, la première marge et la seconde marge se situant au niveau des extrémités respectives de la fibre de sécurité.
  7. Fibre de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre une couche de vernis sur la région colorée au moins.
  8. Procédé de fabrication d'une fibre de sécurité destinée à être utilisée dans la protection contre les contrefaçons, la fibre de sécurité étant appropriée pour une incorporation dans un produit papetier, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à imprimer une pluralité de régions colorées sur un substrat sous la forme d'une feuille de papier ou d'un substrat à base de cellulose, et à découper le substrat pour créer une fibre de sécurité comprenant l'une au moins des régions colorées, caractérisé en ce que chacune de la pluralité de régions colorées se situe entre des première et seconde marges, les marges étant des régions non imprimées du substrat adjacentes aux régions colorées, le substrat étant découpé dans les marges.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 8, la méthode comprenant l'étape consistant à découper le substrat en une pluralité de marges afin de créer une pluralité de fibres de papier.
  10. Procédé selon la revendication 9, dans lequel la pluralité de régions colorées sont imprimées sur le substrat en une série de rangées.
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 9 ou la revendication 10, dans lequel chaque région colorée comprend une pluralité de couleurs imprimées côte à côte.
  12. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 11, comprenant l'étape supplémentaire consistant à empiler au moins un substrat sur un autre substrat identique et à découper les substrats simultanément.
  13. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 12, comprenant en outre l'étape consistant à découper le substrat dans une direction perpendiculaire à celle des découpes faites dans la marge.
  14. Procédé de fabrication d'un produit papetier, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à :
    mélanger une ou plusieurs fibres de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, ou une ou plusieurs fibres de sécurité fabriquées en utilisant le procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 13, avec de la pâte à papier liquide de telle sorte que les fibres de sécurité forment une liaison hydrogène avec la fibre de cellulose dans la pâte à papier ; et
    former le mélange de pâte à papier et de fibre en une bande de papier continue.
  15. Produit papetier contenant une pluralité de fibres de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, ou fabriqué en utilisant le procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 13.
