Mit dem Hülsendeckel 4 der Patrone 1 ist geschossseitig eine das Leitwerk 7 des Pfeilgeschosses 5 zentrierende und beim Abschuss der Patrone 1 von dem Leitwerk 7 abtrennbare Aufnahmeeinrichtung 28 verbunden. Claims (13)
- Cartridge comprising a cartridge case (2) and a projectile arrangement (3; 3'), which is connected to the cartridge case (2) via a case cover (4), having the features:a) the projectile arrangement (3; 3') comprises a fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5') with a subcalibre projectile body (6; 6') and a subcalibre fin assembly (7) arranged at the rear end on the projectile body (6; 6');b) a receiving mechanism (28; 28') which centres the fin assembly (7) of the fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5') and can be separated from the fin assembly (7) when the cartridge (1) is fired and which comprises a ring-shaped rear flange (29; 29'), the outer diameter of which corresponds to the projectile calibre of the respective cartridge (1), is connected to the case cover (4) on the projectile side; the cartridge is characterized in that:c) between the centre of gravity (8; 8') of the projectile body (6; 6') and the projectile tip (9) of the fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5'), a segmented single-flange sabot (10; 10') with radial wall regions (15) extending outwards is connected to the projectile body (6; 6') in a frictional and form-fitted manner.
- Cartridge according to Claim 1, characterized in that the receiving mechanism (28; 28') is made of plastic.
- Cartridge according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that in the case of a fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5') with a cone-shaped fin assembly (7), the receiving mechanism (28; 28') has a cone-shaped front part (30; 30') surrounding the fin assembly (7), which front part is arranged in front of the rear flange (29; 29') on the sabot side and bears against this in a form-fitted manner, at least in a partial region of the fin assembly (7).
- Cartridge according to Claim 3, characterized in that the outside of the cone-shaped front part (30') of the receiving mechanism (28') is connected to the rear flange (29') via a plurality of rib-shaped struts (32) distributed uniformly over the periphery.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the single-flange sabot (10; 10') has a cone-shaped rear part (16) connecting to the radial wall regions (15) on the rear side, the rear-side end (17) of which rear part is arranged in front of the centre of gravity (8) of the fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5') on the projectile tip side.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the sabot segments (12-14) of the single-flange sabot (10; 10') are made of steel.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the slits (18-20) formed between the sabot segments (12-14) are sealed in a gas-tight manner at least on the rear side by a layer of vulcanized rubber (21).
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the radial wall region (15) of the sabot (10; 10') is provided with a sealing lip (22) on the rear side at its end turned away from the fin-stabilized projectile (5; 5').
- Cartridge according to Claim 8, characterized in that the sealing lip (22) is made of rubber.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the radial wall region (15) of the sabot (10; 10') is provided with a recess (23) on the outside, into which a segment ring (24) exhibiting a cone-shaped region with a division corresponding to the segmented sabot (10; 10') is inserted on the front side and a surrounding guide and sealing strip (25) attached to the segment ring (24) is inserted on the rear side, which strip at least covers the cone-shaped region of the segment ring (24) facing it, wherein the segment ring (24) and the guide and sealing strip (25) are selected such that the outer diameter of the guide and sealing strip (25) is smaller than or equal to the projectile calibre when the projectile arrangement (3; 3') is in the neutral position and the cone-shaped region of the segment ring (24) presses the guide and sealing strip (25) outwards when the projectile arrangement (3; 3') is fired.
- Cartridge according to Claim 10, characterized in that the segment ring (24) is made of metal and the guide and sealing strip (25) of plastic.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the radial wall region (15) of the sabot (10; 10') is provided with pocket-shaped depressions (26, 27) both on the front side and the rear side.
- Cartridge according to one of the Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the sabot (10; 10') is made up of three identical sabot segments (12-14).
