Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Energieabsorption mit mindestens zwei voneinander durch Abstandsteile (6) beabstandeten Platten (2, 3), wobei die erste Platte (2) derart angeordnet ist, dass die mit der zu absorbierenden Energie verbundene Kraft zunächst auf diese Platte (2) wirkt.The invention relates to a device (1) for energy absorption with at least two spaced apart by spacers (6) spaced plates (2, 3), wherein the first plate (2) is arranged such that the force associated with the energy to be absorbed first on this Plate (2) acts.
Um zu erreichen, dass die Vorrichtung (1) ein relativ geringes Gewicht aufweist und trotzdem auf einfache Weise eine hohe Energieabsorption bewirkt, schlägt die Erfindung vor, den Zwischenraum zwischen den beiden voneinander beabstandeten Platten (2, 3) mit einem Füllmaterial (13), wie einer Flüssigkeit mit entsprechend hoher Viskosität, einem Gel, einem Kunststoff- oder Metallschaum oder einem Granulat, auszufüllen, welches beim Zusammendrücken der beiden Platten (2, 3) durch mindestens eine Ausströmöffnung (10, 11) mit definiertem Strömungsquerschnitt entweichen kann. Durch den Strömungswiderstand des Füllmaterials (13) im Bereich des definierten Strömungsquerschnittes der Ausströmöffnung (10, 11) erfolgt dann die gewünschte Energieabsorption.
