Bei einer erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung zum Erzeugen von Effektgarnen beim Texturieren von Garn durch Erzeugen von Flammen durch kurzzeitige Garnüberlieferung ist ein motorisch angetrieben linear vom Fadenlauf weg, d.h. im Wesentlichen geradlinig, bevorzugt senkrecht zum Fadenlauf, bewegbarer Mitnehmer vorhanden. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung wird vor einer Texturiereinheit einer Garnbearbeitungsmaschine, insbesondere einer Lufttexturierdüse einer Lufttexturiermaschine, im Fadenlauf mindestens eines der Effektgarne montiert. Mittels des Mitnehmers wird der Faden des Filamentgarns durch das seitliche Auslenken gespannt und anschließend durch das Freigeben mittels der Auslösemittel sehr viel schneller entspannt. Dadurch entsteht am Eingang der z.B. Lufttexturierdüse ein kurzzeitiger Garnüberschuss, welcher zu einer stärkeren Texturierung, d.h. zum Ausbilden einer relativ zum restlichen Garn erhöhten Bauschigkeit des Garns, also einer sogenannten Flamme, führt.
Die Flammenlänge und der Flammenhub, welche durch die Länge des Garns, welches während der Phase des kurzzeitigen Garnüberschusses zusätzlich der z.B. Lufttexturierdüse zugeführt wird, bestimmt sind, werden durch die Dauer der Auslenkung und den Betrag der Auslenkung des Garns aus dessen Fadenlauf bestimmt. Die Größe des Garnüberschusses wird dabei durch die Länge der Verlängerung des Fadenlaufs des Garns durch das Auslenken bestimmt. Sie ergibt sich also durch die Längendifferenz des Fadenlaufes des Garns bei vollständiger Auslenkung am Auslenkpunkt zur Länge des Fadenlaufes ohne Auslenkung. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Flammaggregat kann auf einfache Weise eine sehr große Längendifferenz erreicht werden.
Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung können die Produktionsparameter derartiger Flammen einfach eingestellt werden. Die Länge des normal texturierten Garns, also der Abstand zwischen den Flammen, wird bestimmt über die Frequenz des Auslenkens mittels des Mitnehmers und/oder die Geschwindigkeit, mit der das Garn in die Lufttexturierdüse einläuft.
Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung weist einen sehr einfachen Aufbau auf, was zu einer sehr geringen Störanfälligkeit der Vorrichtung, geringen Kosten und zu einer Verminderung von Fadenbrüchen im Bereich der Vorrichtung führt.

Der Motor 40 des Flammaggregats 1 treibt eine der als Räder ausgebildeten Umlenkungen 8 derart an, dass der auf einem Seil 6, oder einem Riemen montierte Mitnehmer 4 in Richtung des dargestellten Pfeils senkrecht zum Fadenlauf 35 bewegt werden kann, so dass das Garn bei einer Bewegung des Mitnehmers 4, linear vom Fadenlauf 35 weg, seitlich ausgelenkt wird. Nachdem der Mitnehmer 4 bei seiner Bewegung den Auslöser 10 des Flammaggregats 1 erreicht hat wird das Garn durch den Auslöser 10 an einem Auslösepunkt freigegeben und kann in den in der Figur dargestellten Fadenlauf 35 zurückschnellen.
Der als Rampe ausgebildete Auslöser 10 ist an einer Auslöserpositioniervorrichtung befestigt, die einen Elektromotor 52 aufweist mit dem die Rampe z.B. über ein Stahlband 51 zu deren gesteuerter Verschiebbarkeit verbunden ist. Die Auslösemittel sind also elektromechanisch so verstellbar, dass in Auslenkungszyklen die Auslenklänge, d.h. der Abstand des Auslösepunktes zum Fadenlauf, variiert werden kann. Dabei kann die Frequenz der Auslenkung in einem Steuermodul frei programmierbar sein und je Auslenkungszyklus variieren. Die als Fadenauswerfer dienende Rampe wird also, z.B. ähnlich wie bei einem Bandgreifer einer Webmaschine, über das mit dem Elektromotor 52 verbundene Stahlband 51 bewegt.

Die Auslösemittel 10 bilden eine Rampe aus, wobei die Rampe derart positioniert ist, dass der Faden 2 im Bereich des Auslenkpunktes mittels des Fadenführers 9 auf die Rampe aufschiebbar ist, wobei der Faden 2 durch das Aufschieben zu dessen Freigabe aus dem Fadenführer 9 heraushebbar und/oder über den Fadenführer 9 weghebbar ist.
Die Vorrichtung funktioniert losgelöst von der Fadenspannung.
