Definitions
- the present invention relates to shelters with moving sections, in particular for swimming pools.
- the invention relates to a shelter, such as those described in the document EP 1247914 and EP 0147502 , comprising at least one section movable in a longitudinal direction, said section comprising a roof having at least one first longitudinal edge slidably mounted in the longitudinal direction on a guide rail fixed to a civil engineering structure (in particular a wall), the first longitudinal edge of the roof comprising a edge profile which partially penetrates into a laterally open groove presented by the guide rail, said edge profile extending in the longitudinal direction between at least two carriages which also penetrate into the groove of the rail; guidance and which roll while bearing on said guide rail, the carriage comprising a roller rotatably mounted about a substantially horizontal axis and rolling on a lower rolling surface belonging to the guide rail.
- the present invention is intended in particular to improve the sealing and guiding of known shelters of this type, at the junction between the guide rail and the first longitudinal edge of the roof.
- a shelter of the kind in question is characterized in that the carriage comprises at least a first rotating wheel about a first substantially vertical axis and adapted to roll alternately against two guide surfaces belonging to the rail and guiding the running surface, said first wheel being arranged to prevent the roller from interfering with the guide surfaces.
- the water that can run off on the top of the guide rail is collected by the edge profile and carriages, since said edge profile and said carriages leave no free space along the guide rail.
- the guidance is improved.
- the figure 1 is a telescopic shelter 1 which has a plurality of adjacent sections 2, 3, 4 movable relative to each other by sliding in a longitudinal direction X. These sections are here three in number, but could be different in number without leaving the framework of the invention.
- sections are movable between the deployed position visible on the figure 1 , wherein said sections cover a space to be protected 5, for example a pool or other, and a retracted position (not shown), where the sections 2, 3, 4 cooperate by interlocking and discover the space to be protected 5.
- each of the sections 2, 3, 4 comprises a roof 6 which extends with a certain slope between first and second longitudinal edges 7,8.
- the first longitudinal edge 7 is supported by a civil engineering work 9 such as a wall of a building.
- the second longitudinal edge 8, which is at a lower level than the first longitudinal edge 7, is extended laterally by a cut-off portion 10, itself extended downwards by a lateral wall mounted on rollers (not shown) which can roll on the soil (the rollers in question can roll directly on the ground or on guide rails fixed to the ground).
- One of the sections in this case the section 4 in the example considered here, can be fixedly supported by the civil engineering work 9, while the other sections 2, 3 are slidably supported in the longitudinal direction X, by means of guide rails 12 fixed on said civil engineering work.
- the rail 12 of the section 2 extends over the entire length of the shelter (facing the section 2 and under the sections 3, 4), while the rail 12 of the section 3 extends opposite said section 3 and under section 4.
- Each section 2, 3, 4 comprises a structure made of assemblies of metal profiles, including light alloy profiles.
- This structure comprises, at both ends of the section, two main frames 13, 14 which extend respectively in two parallel vertical planes. At the level of the roof 6, these main frames 13, 14 comprise in particular two end beams 15, 16 which extend in the same transverse direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X and inclined downwards away from the civil engineering work 9.
- These two end beams 15, 16 are connected together, at the first longitudinal edge 7, by a rim profile 17, and between the first and second longitudinal edges, by a plurality of cross members 18 which support one or more plates 19, transparent or not, made for example of polycarbonate or Plexiglas® or other (see figure 2 ).
- the edge profile 17 projects laterally with respect to the axial ends of the end beams 15, 16, and said edge profile has a solid upper surface 20 which is sealingly connected to the filler plates 19 and which may optionally have a raised edge. 21, for example at the side edge of the edge profile closest to the civil engineering structure 9.
- the end beams 15, 16 are fixed two carriages 22 rolling in the guide rail 12.
- each carriage 22 may for example be a machined monobloc piece of light alloy, which may comprise a stirrup 23 and a base 24 fixed to the axial end of the corresponding end beam 15, 16.
- the upper surface 25 of the base is solid and is arranged in the extension of the upper surface 20 of the edge profile.
- Said upper surface 24 may form an upwardly open channel 25 open in the longitudinal direction X, delimited laterally by two raised edges extending parallel to the longitudinal direction X.
- the stirrup 23 comprises a vertically open central well 27, in which is mounted a rotating roller 28 around a horizontal axis of rotation Y 'perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.
- the roller 23 also carries two wheels 29 disposed under said yoke and rotatably mounted about vertical axes of rotation Z1, Z2.
- the roller 28 and the rollers 29 may be made of plastic or elastomer, or at least be coated externally plastic or elastomer.
- the guide rail 12 may be in the form of a light alloy profile which is attached contiguously to the civil engineering structure by one, 30, of its side faces, while the opposite side face 31 of the guide rail forms a groove 32 open laterally and extending in the longitudinal direction X.
- the upper wall 33 of the guide rail 12 can advantageously be inclined downwards in the direction of the distance from the civil engineering work 9, so as to allow runoff of rainwater towards the roof 6 of shelter.
- This upper wall 33 may possibly end with a falling edge 34 extending downwards.
- the rainwater flowing on the upper wall 33 of the guide rail falls on the channels 26 of the carriages and the upper walls 20 of the edge profiles, so that said rainwater then flows along the roof 6, then along the cutaway 10 and the side wall 11, to the ground, and without infiltrating the space to be protected 5.
- the guide rail 12 further comprises a lower wall 35 which forms a lower rolling surface 36 on which the roller 28 rolls. Said rolling surface is delimited laterally by two raised edges 37, 38 forming two vertical guide surfaces parallel to the longitudinal direction X, against which can roll the rollers 29 to guide the roller 28 and prevent it from interfering with said raised edges 37, 38.
- the spacing between the raised edges 37, 38 is greater than the diameter of the rollers 29.
- the raised edge 37 belongs to the side wall 31 of the guide rail while the raised edge 38 is located inside the guide rail. It will be noted that, in order to prevent the roller 28 from interfering with the raised edges 37, 38, the rollers 29, which are centered on the median plane of the roller 28, have an outside diameter greater than the width of the roller 28.
- the sliding sections 2.3 in the longitudinal direction X can be performed without great effort, by simple manual action of the user. This sliding takes place without jamming said sections while the user generally pushes the sections 2, 3 from a location eccentrically, for example at the side walls 11 of said sections.
- each carriage 22 can be fixed to the axial end of the corresponding end beam 15, 16 by means of screws 39, 40 which are screwed into a stud 41 fitted into the end beam 15, 16 (this post can in addition, be fastened by screwing to said beam and / or to other elements of the structure, for example to the edge profile 17).
- the screw 39 passes only the base 24 of the carriage and the screw 40 passes through the base 24 and the stirrup 23 serving to overcome the roller 28 to mount said rotary roller around the horizontal axis Y '.
- the bearing surfaces 42, 43 in mutual contact, respectively belonging to the base 24 and the pin 41, may for example be vertical.
- This assembly of the carriages 22 at the axial ends of the end beams 15, 16 provides excellent mechanical resistance to shelter.
- this arrangement also avoids voids between the roof 6 and the rail 15, 16: this avoids the penetration of runoff water at this level.

- l'embase de chaque chariot est fixée sur la poutre d'extrémité correspondante par un tenon emboîté dans ladite poutre d'extrémité ;
- le chariot comporte en outre une deuxième roulette rotative autour d'un deuxième axe sensiblement vertical et adaptée pour rouler alternativement contre lesdites surfaces de guidage, les première et deuxième roulettes encadrant le galet et lesdites première et deuxième roulettes étant disposées pour empêcher le galet d'interférer avec les surfaces de guidage ;
- le toit s'étend en pente vers le bas à l'opposé du profilé de rive, jusqu'à une paroi latérale roulant sur le sol ;
- the edge profile has a solid upper surface which is partially covered by the guide rail and the carriage has a base which has a solid upper surface disposed in the extension of the upper surface of the edge profile;
- the guide rail is a hollow profile which has, at its groove, a falling longitudinal edge, and the edge profile has a raised edge extending upwardly within the guide rail;
- the upper surface of the base of the carriage forms a channel open upwards and open in the longitudinal direction;
- the shelter section comprises two end beams extending in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, the two end beams being connected together in particular by the edge profile, and the base of each carriage is fixed on one of said end beams;
- the base of each carriage is fixed on the corresponding end beam by a tenon fitted into said end beam;

In the example considered here, each of the
The
The
Thus, the rainwater flowing on the
In the example considered here, the raised
Thanks to these provisions, the sliding sections 2.3 in the longitudinal direction X can be performed without great effort, by simple manual action of the user. This sliding takes place without jamming said sections while the user generally pushes the
This assembly of the
