Gemäß der Erfindung werden online und automatisch messende Sensoren eingesetzt, mit deren Hilfe sich nicht nur die Stoffdichte oder der Aschegehalt einer Faserstoffbahn bestimmen lassen, sondern auch alle anderen messbaren Parameter. Dies sind beispielsweise der pH-Wert, der Luftgehalt der Faserstoffbahn, deren Ladung, Feuchte usw..
