Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le fonctionnement combiné de cages de laminoir individuelles dans un train de laminoir en tandem à froid comprenant deux cylindres de travail (10) et deux cylindres d'appui (12) pour les cages à 4 cylindres, et deux cylindres intermédiaires (11) supplémentaires pour les cages à 6 cylindres, au moins les cylindres de travail (10) et les cylindres intermédiaires (11) coopérant avec des dispositifs de déplacement axial. L'invention est caractérisée par la combinaison de différentes technologies, à savoir: l'application de la technologie CVC/CVC<plus> avec des profils de cylindres CVC d'ordre supérieur, chaque cylindre de travail/intermédiaire (10, 11) ayant un corps prolongé de la longueur de la course de déplacement ; l'application de la technologie Pair Cross (PC), chaque cylindre de travail/intermédiaire (10, 11) pouvant être déplacé parallèlement au plan du feuillard ; le déplacement des cylindres de travail/intermédiaires (10, 11) relativement au bord du feuillard, chaque cylindre de travail/intermédiaire (10, 11) ayant un corps prolongé de la longueur de la course de déplacement et un polissage cylindrique ou bombé, lesdits cylindres étant déplacés l'un contre l'autre relativement à une position de déplacement neutre (sZW = 0 ou sAW = 0) au milieu de la cage (Y-Y), de manière symétrique et de la même distance, dans le sens de leur axe de rotation (X-X). L'invention est aussi caractérisée en ce que, avec un concept d'installation correspondant comprenant seulement un jeu de cylindres de même géométrie, on peut appliquer la technologie CVC/CVC<plus>, la technologie du déplacement relativement au bord du feuillard, et éventuellement la technologie PC.
