Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fastening element for plastic containers, a plastic container for liquids, as well as a fastening system for liquid-tight flange mounting or attachment of Plastic containers for liquids, comprising the invention Fastener.
- containers such as engine oil pans, gear oil pans or containers for washing machines, dishwashers and water boilers, which serve to absorb liquids, liquid-tight in the corresponding Device or the corresponding device is usually integrated as follows: along the edge of the opening of the corresponding container is a flange formed, this flange comprises holes, or through holes, in the metal bushings are inserted into the screws for screwing of the container are inserted into the counterpart. Between the A seal is placed on top of the flange and the counterpart.
- the rigidity of the construction is dependent on the modulus of elasticity (modulus of elasticity) dependent on the material used and also to a considerable extent on the Operating or usage temperature.
- hydride tanks made of plastic with integrated sheet metal supports the disadvantage that it is due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the materials to a strong delay and thus to leaks and thus the component can fail. This problem occurs naturally in such devices, such as. B. in oil pans where the temperature can fluctuate greatly.
- a fastening element 1 for plastic containers 6, comprising several by connecting webs 2 with each other connected first sockets 3.
- the invention is further achieved by a plastic container 6 for liquids, with an opening 7, at least along part of the A flange 8 is formed around the opening, the flange 8 being formed by the strength of the flange has continuous recesses for receiving of the first bushings 3 of the fastener, wherein after attaching the Fastening element 1 to the plastic container 6, the connecting web 2 or the metal sheet 2a of the fastener at the bottom of the flange 8 fits snugly and positively.
- This plastic container is preferred an engine oil pan or transmission oil pan.
- a fastener provided which comprises bushings and so on the flange of the opening or open area of the plastic container is arranged that the sockets of the Fastening element from below through the recesses or holes in the flange be introduced so that the connecting webs of the fastener fit snugly and positively at the lower edge of the flange.
- the Attachment of the plastic container e.g. an oil pan on the engine block by screwing, the screws being inserted into the sockets and in Counterpart are screwed.
- the fastener has the advantage that the forces emanating from the screw points during or after the Screwing evenly over the connecting webs between the sockets be distributed over the entire flange of the plastic container. This will individual areas of the plastic part are less stressed and the number The screw points can be reduced without problems with the tightness occur.
- the bushings 3 consist the same material as the connecting tie bars connecting the sockets Second
- the sockets 3 and the connecting webs 2 are made of metal, preferably steel.

- the connecting webs are of the fastener with holes 11 to increase the weight reduce ( Figure 6).
- the connecting webs 2 are designed as metal sheet 2a.
- the respective connecting web made of sheet metal ie the sheet metal strip that now lies between the screwing points, exerts the necessary pressure on the plastic flange and stabilizes the system.
- This much higher stability is achieved because a metal sheet has a significantly higher rigidity (E-module 210,000 N / mm 2 ) compared to plastic.
- E-module 210,000 N / mm 2 a glass fiber reinforced PA (polyamide) plastic at 20 ° C an elastic modulus of about 7,000 N / mm 2 .
- a higher stiffness compared to plastic is also achieved in the embodiment from a cast metal.
- the width of the metal sheet of the fastening element is preferably essentially parallel to the longitudinal axes of the first bushings. at this arrangement is only an edge of the metal sheet on the bottom of the plastic flange, which achieves an enormous stability of the system becomes. In a corresponding manner, this also applies to the embodiment from one cast metal.
- the width of the connecting element is also preferred here essentially parallel to the longitudinal axes of the first bushings. In this arrangement, too, there is only one edge of the connecting element on the underside of the plastic flange, which ensures enormous stability of the Systems is achieved.
- the metal sheet is flanged or has an L-shaped cross section.
- the connection element is also here preferably crimped or has an L-shaped cross section.
- This embodiment enables the use of the invention Fastener in places where, for. B. additional forces initiated Need to become. This can be e.g. B. the flanging of additional Act aggregates such. B. the flange of the transmission bell on the motor housing.
- the contour of the opening follows the plastic container, are the areas connecting the sockets or connecting webs angled or bent at individual points. to At these break points, beads are preferably used to increase the component rigidity 10 or bends arranged.
