Description

The invention relates to a soldered capacitor according to the preamble of claim 1, as he EP 0 867 670 A2 got known.

In the known capacitor, the dryer / filter cartridge is spent after the soldering process in the collector, positioned there, and then the collector is pressure-tightly sealed by a screw connection. The dryer / filter cartridge is, as it is not subject to the high temperatures of the soldering process, made of plastic and connected by a clip connection with the cap - this allows the dryer / filter cartridge mounted on the one hand together with the cap, but also - in case of repair or Maintenance - can be replaced with the cap together.

The structure and function of such a capacitor are more particularly in the DE-A 42 38 853 described.

In the course of further development of such a soldered refrigerant condenser has in the EP-A 1 079 186 already proposed a non-replaceable dryer cartridge, which is arranged in a collector, which frontally each by a soldered or welded lid, ie with a permanent one Connection is closed. Such a dryer can therefore not be replaced non-destructively. A disadvantage of this known non-replaceable dryer that it is not fixed in the collector, but can perform movements within the collector. This leads to undesirable abrasion and noise.

It is an object of the present invention to improve a capacitor of the type mentioned in that it is simple and inexpensive to produce and in its function, especially in terms of drying and filtering is not impaired.

The solution to this problem arises for the generic capacitor from the features of claim 1. The advantage of this combination of features for a non-replaceable dryer / filter cartridge is that on the one hand, a cheap plastic housing for the dryer / filter cartridge used that the tube for the collector Simple semi-finished tube can be made without additional processing and that the dryer / filter cartridge is securely positioned and secured in the collector, so that their proper function for the drying of the refrigerant and filtering is ensured.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims. In this case, the attachment of the dryer / filter cartridge by means of a clip connection on the ground is advantageous insofar as a first metallic part of this clip connection, an anchor part, is already finished with the soldering process of the capacitor. The dryer / filter cartridge which is made of plastic and provided with molded locking elements on the bottom, only needs to be inserted into the manifold and clipped to the ground. This results in a simple and clear assembly, which in turn lowers the manufacturing costs. After installation and attachment of the dryer / filter cartridge in the collector this is closed by inserting and soldering the cover plate, preferably by soldering. However, the closing can also be accomplished by another non-releasable cohesive connection, z. As welding or gluing, caulking or flanging.

In a further embodiment of the invention, a method is advantageous, which includes a cost-effective assembly and production by furnace soldering, Verclipsung and closing the collector in three consecutive process steps. This method also contributes to the reduction of manufacturing costs.

B. gemäß der DE-A 42 38 853 . Fig. 1 shows a collector 1 for a non-illustrated refrigerant condenser according to the prior art, for. B. according to the DE-A 42 38 853 , Such capacitors are referred to as capacitor module, because the collector is structurally integrated into the capacitor, ie it is arranged parallel to one of the two manifolds and is in refrigerant communication with this. Therefore, the collector 1 has a refrigerant inflow port 2 and a refrigerant outflow port 3. About these two openings of the collector is thus connected to a manifold, not shown, a condenser refrigerant side. The collector 1 consists of an aluminum tube 4, which is adapted in terms of its wall thickness and strength to the operating pressure of the capacitor. The tube 4 is closed at the front by a disc 5 at the bottom and a disc 6 at the upper end. Inside the tube 4 is a dryer / filter cartridge 7, which consists of a cage-like plastic housing 8 and receives in it, not shown dryer granules. The cage-like plastic housing 8 forms a closed space, which is closed at the bottom by a bottom part 9 and upwards by a clipped-in cover 10, but through slot-like openings 11 is open to the outside. Between the housing 8 and the tube 4, an annular gap 12 is left. The plastic cage 8 has in its upper region a circumferential bead-like thickening 13 and in its lowermost region, ie below the outflow opening 3, a similar annular bead 14, both of which are in contact with the inner wall of the tube 4. As a result, alignment of the plastic cage 8 in the housing 4 is ensured. In the area between the two openings 2 and 3, a circumferential sealing lip 15 is molded on the plastic housing 8, which causes a sealing of the plastic housing 8 relative to the inner wall of the tube 4. From the height of this sealing lip 15 to the bottom portion 9, the plastic housing 8 is surrounded (or lined) with a fine mesh screen 16 to retain impurities in the form of minute particles in the housing 8. This sieve 16 thus acts as a filter.

A detail, denoted by X, in the bottom area of the collector 1 is shown in FIG. 2 and shows, in particular, the attachment of the dryer / filter cartridge 7 to the base plate 5. The base plate 5 is soldered into the tube 4, ie it forms a cohesive, circumferentially cohesive, undetachable connection with the tube 4. In the central region, the bottom plate 5 has an approximately rectangular slot 17, which is as such also recognizable in Fig. 2a . In this slot 17 is fittingly inserted with an insert 18 of the same cross section, an anchor member 19 and soldered. This anchor member 19 is - as shown in broken lines in Fig. 2a - a flat sheet metal part and has two diametrically opposed hook-like projections 20, 21. Below the bottom part 9, a resilient, downwardly projecting, circumferential detent element 22 is injection-molded onto the plastic housing 8. The projections 20, 21 have on their upper side inclined surfaces 24, 25. The anchor member 19 is already soldered together with the bottom plate 5 with the collector when the capacitor is soldered out of the oven. Then namely the tube 4 - contrary to the illustration in the drawing in Fig. 1 - the top still open, ie the plate 6 is not soldered through this opening then the complete dryer / filter cartridge 7, ie with filled granules and filter 16 in the tube 4 is inserted until the lowermost end of the resilient locking element 22 slides on the inclined surfaces 24 and 25 and is thereby spread apart. The dryer / filter cartridge 7 is then pressed further down towards the bottom plate 5 until the locking element 22 snaps inwards and the hook-shaped projections 20 and 21 engages behind a positive fit. The dryer / filter cartridge 7 is then with its bottom part 9 on the anchor member 19 and is fixed by the locking element 22 against movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tube 4. Anchor member 19 and locking element 22 thus form a clip connection.

After the dryer / filter cartridge 7 is firmly positioned by this clip connection in the tube 4, the disc 6 is inserted into the tube 4 and soldered or otherwise inseparably connected to the tube 4 pressure-tight. This completes the capacitor assembly.
