Definitions
- the invention relates to a power-driven driving tool, in particular for use in a stand-up tool, with a fastener guide and a holding device, in the a fastener for driving in is automatically added by means of a driving tool and can be released, as well as a feed path that the fastener guide connects to the holding device and in which an intermediate determination is arranged is in which the fastener before feeding to the holding device in the direction thereof is held.
- fasteners are supplied from a fastener guide.
- the fasteners located in the fastener guide are first isolated and fed to a downpipe. Slip over the downpipe the fasteners then into the holding device, for example by means of a pair of pliers can be formed.
- the fasteners are in the holding device initially held in the working direction of the driving tool. For driving in the fasteners the holding device is opened automatically.
- US 5,897,045 shows a stand-up tool with a fastener guide on a separating device is arranged. After they are separated, the fasteners fed to a downpipe. An intermediate definition is provided on the downpipe is formed from a magnetized wall area of the downpipe. On this wall area the attached fasteners are held until they are removed by an ejector, which is pressed against a workpiece when the stand-up tool is pressed by the magnetized Wall area to be moved away. The fasteners then slip through the rest of the downpipe to the actual holding device, from which it to the assembly being held.
- Such an intermediate determination has the disadvantage that, especially with fasteners with a distinctive head, such as screws or bolts, in particular if these have an integrated washer, the axis of the fastener in the intermediate definition is held at an angle to the alignment of the downpipe. This often results to ensure that the fastener when detached from the intermediate fixing by the Ejection device is rotated. This can result in the fastener becoming loose jammed or with the wrong end ahead of the holding device. moreover can be in operation at the time when the separated element on the magnetized Wall part should come to rest, shocks or vibrations occur. Furthermore, it is possible that the magnetic effect of the wall area due to dust or other in Operation occurring pollution is not sufficient to the fastener on the Hold wall area. Both can cause the fastener to slip off prematurely into the downpipe and cause it to malfunction.
- the present invention has for its object in a stand-up tool with an intermediate definition the fasteners to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and a to ensure fail-safe operation.
- the object is achieved in that an intermediate determination Lateral stop is provided between the fastener guide and the intermediate setting can be laid in the feed path.
- the fastener is defined in the intermediate definition no longer in the direction of the holding device alone. Rather, it also ensures that the fastener is no longer in the fastener guide can move the incoming feed path back. In particular, it prevents that the fastener the moment it is ejected from the interim partially into the feed path coming from the mounting magazine tilts.
- the fastener is rather supported laterally by the side stop and thus ensures an ejection movement taking place essentially in the axial direction.
- the side stop is preferably formed by a separating device. hereby the side stop can be formed by existing components, whereby the manufacturing costs can be reduced.
- the side stop is formed on a slide.
- a slide ensures a safe adjustment of the side stop and enables the fasteners to be separated in a simple manner.
- the slide is advantageously mounted such that it can move linearly.
- Such a linear storage can be carried out relatively stably in a simple manner, which means that a low cost high operational reliability is guaranteed.
- the side stop is preferably biased into a closed position in which it adjusts the feed path blocked for fasteners. This increases the stability of the side stop elevated.
- the slide advantageously tapers in a closing direction. That way avoided that a fastener when laying the side stop in the feed path is pinched. This ensures trouble-free operation.
- the intermediate determination in the feed path preferably points in the direction of the holding device an axial stop that can be moved out of the feed path. hereby a secure fixing of the fastening element is guaranteed in the intermediate fixing, whereby premature delivery to the holding device and a resultant result Malfunction can be avoided.
- the axial stop advantageously has at least two stop elements which can be moved out of the feed path against a spring force. This creates an easy and reliable way to open the axial stop.
- a stand-up tool 2 is shown with a driving tool 4, a fastener guide 6 and a handle arrangement 8.
- the driving tool 4 has a driving tool 10, which is axially movable in a guide tube 12 along a driving axis 14 is led.
- a holding device 16 is arranged on a tool-side end of the guide tube facing away from the handle arrangement 8.
- the fastener guide 6 is removably attached to the driving tool 4 and is in the attached state connected via a feed path 7 to the holding device 16, via the fastening means 18 are transported to the holding device 16.
- the feed path 7 leads from the fastener guide 6 through an intermediate determination 20, via Down pipe 22 and a tool-side section of the guide tube 12 to the holding device 16.
- the intermediate fixing 20 has a housing 24 which is attached to a tool-side, lower end 23 on the downpipe 22 and on a handle-side upper end 25 connects a tubular ejection guide 26 open.
- In the ejection guide 26 is an Substantially piston-shaped ejector 28 with respect to the intermediate definition 20 and in Axial direction of the downpipe 22 slidably mounted.
- the intermediate definition 20 is shown in detail in FIGS. 3 to 7.
- the housing 24 has a side access opening in the direction of the attached fastener guide 6 30 on.
- a slider 32 is arranged at the access opening 30. This is via guide pins 34 and / or guide lugs 36, which are formed on the housing, in one direction of movement 38 movable back and forth. This makes it possible to open the access opening 30 at least partially to close (see FIGS. 6 and 7) or to open (see FIGS. 4 and 5).
- a symbolically represented spring force SF acts on the slide 32, which acts on the slide presses along the direction of movement 38 into a position in which the access opening 30 is open is.
- a slide opening 40 is formed on the slide 32, which in this open position has an overlap with the access opening 30.
- An actuation area 42 is formed on the slide 32, which is partially opposite the remaining slider 32 protrudes and forms an oblique contact area 44.
- This Actuating area 42 interacts with an actuating molded part 46, which is on a lower Extension piece 48 of a support tube 50 of the handle arrangement 8 is arranged, such as can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, and an inclined surface 52 at one end formed.
- a jaw arrangement 54 is further arranged, which is two a pin 56 has pivotable jaw shells 58, which are shown in FIGS. 8 to 11 in more detail are shown.
- the pin 56 is parallel to that adjoining the intermediate fixing 20 Alignment of the downpipe 22 arranged.
- the jaws 58 each form in In the axial direction of the pin 56, an inwardly standing stop element at both ends 62 in the form of a cantilever, which thus the receiving space 60 at the top and constricts at the lower end of the jaw assembly 54.
- the jaw arrangement 54 can be located in the receiving space 60 thus accommodate the head 64 of a fastener 18 and the fastener 18 down in this way in the direction of gravity.
- the jaw cups 58 With an additional Pressure from the ejector 28 (FIG. 3) on the head 64 becomes the jaw cups 58, however, pivoted apart until the lower stop elements 62 so far apart are spaced so that the head 64 can slip through (see FIGS. 10 and 11).
- the jaws are symbolically represented by a spring force BF in the closed Biased position in which the fastener 18 in the direction of gravity is held.
- the head slips 64 of the fastener in the receiving space 60 of the jaw assembly 54 rests the lower projections 62 in the direction of gravity, since the jaws 58 through the Spring force BF are brought into their closed position.
- the fastener is 18 in the direction of gravity towards the lower end of the intermediate fixing 20, at which the downpipe 22 is connected, held in the intermediate setting 20.
- the ejector 28 in the Ejection guide 26 shifted in the direction of the intermediate determination 20.
- the stop region 66 which prevents the access opening 30 from closing thereby that the fastening means 18 tilts into the access opening 30. Rather, the fastener is 18 upon impact of the ejector 28 by the one acting as a side stop Slider 32 and the jaw assembly 54 supported radially on all sides.
- the fastening means 18 becomes a lower part of the guide tube 12 fed, via which it then arrives at the holding device 16. In this is the fastener 18 then held in the direction of the driving axis 14 until the fastener 18 in a subsequent assembly process by the driving tool 10 is attached to a workpiece.
