Abstract

Ein Fahrzeug ist u.a. mit einem Hauptantriebsmotor (1), mit einem Elektromotor (6), mit einem Luftpresser (9) und mit einer elektrischen Energiequelle ausgestattet. Um einen energieoptimierten, funktionsgerechten Betrieb des Luftpressers (9) zu ermöglichen, wird der Luftpresser (9) zumindest bei mit ausreichender Drehzahl laufendem Hauptantriebsmotor (1) von demselben und sonst im Bedarfsfall von einem Elektromotor (6) z.B. über ein leistungsverzweigtes Getriebe angetrieben. Der Luftpresser (9) stellt dabei die erforderliche Prozeßluft für den Betrieb einer auch den Elektromotor (6) speisenden Brennstoffzelle (12) zur Verfügung.
