Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour réaliser une facturation sur un réseau, notamment sur Internet, et un système de facturation qui applique ce procédé. Le système de facturation actuel peut établir des factures pour des services et des activités de communication effectués sur place parmi des applications et des dispositifs locaux, sans passer par un quelconque dispositif d'échange ou des dispositifs de commutation extérieurs. L'objectif principal de la présente invention est de baser la facturation sur le « rapport inverse », c'est-à-dire que l'information concernant la facturation est donnée par l'abonné (1, 2) lui-même. Ce rapport peut être communiqué immédiatement ou à une période déterminée par l'utilisateur ou par l'opérateur du système. Selon l'invention, le procédé de facturation est conçu pour la facturation d'abonnés (1, 2), chaque abonné ayant un dispositif de connexion (3) ou une unité de connexion comprenant un dispositif de contrôle (5, 6), qui peut donner l'information nécessaire à un serveur, qui collecte ces informations pour la facturation.
