Towel rack (1), consisting each of at least one holding element (2) and a supporting device (5) set into a recess (4) of its surface (3), characterised by the fact that the holding element (2) is of a width of approximately 2.5 to 6 cm and of a height of approximately 5 to 14 cm when it is braced, and consists of an upper part and a lower part (6/7) that can be slid into each other vertically and braced, the interior spaces of which are essentially rectangular and hollow, that the top section of the upper part (6) has a backward extending nose-shaped extension (8) provided on its lower surface with notches (9) across the longitudinal extension which constitutes a supporting surface (10), that in its upper part (6), in the back top inside area of its side-walls (1 1a/ diagonally to the bracing direction, tongues (13) and corresponding grooves (14) are moulded in the back top outside area of the side-walls (12a/b) of the lower part (7), whereby preferably the side-walls (12a/b) of the lower part (7) in the area of the grooves (14) are springy, and whereby in at least one mortise (16) in the rear wall (15) of the lower part (7) an interchangeable fastening body (17) is inserted which can be braced against the nose-shaped extension (8).
Towel rack (1) according to claim 1 for hanging up and bracing on hot-water radiators (18), characterised by the fact that its fastening body (17) is a shaped part (19), the nose-shaped extension (8) of the upper part (6) of its holding element (2) forms a rest (10) supported by a part (21) of the hot-water radiator (18), that notches (43) are moulded in its lower part (7), in the back top inner area of its side-walls (12 a/b), into the notches, a braceable, exchangeable shaped part (19) is integrated that is supported by a part (21) of the front side (20) of the hot-water radiator (18) and at the same time by the contact surface (10) of the upper part (6) and the rear wall (15) of the lower part (7) of the holding element (2), and the holding element (2) can be fixed to it in almost any position of the lateral stretch of the hot-water radiator (18).
Towel rack (1) according to claim 1, characterised by the fact that the fastening body (17) is a round connecting element (45) with a diameter of between 5 and 9 cm and a thickness of approximately 8 to 14 mm and flattened on its top side (22), the side of it facing the holding element (2) is a plane ring surface (34) outside a hook (23) formed to it and a fixing bar (24), that the backward extending nose-shaped extension (8) of the upper part (6) is supported by the flattened side (22) of the connecting element (45), and that the connecting element (45) is fitted with at least one fastener (32) that takes up a fastening element (33).
Towel rack according to claim 1, characterised by the fact that the bracing of the upper part (6) with the lower part (7) of its holding element (2) can be released manually.
Towel rack (1) according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that the contour of the shaped part (19) overlapping the hot-water radiator (18) is adapted to the contour ofthis part of the hot-water radiator (18),
Towel rack (1) according to claim 3, characterised by the fact that the lower part (7) of the holding element (2) has in the rear wall (15) a first aperture (29) in its vertical extension in which the hook (23) formed to the front side (31) of the connecting element (45) engages, that the rear wall (15) is provided with a second, preferably rectangular aperture (30) in a vertical distance to the first aperture (29) and in which the fixing bar (24) of the connecting element (45) engages in a contour conform manner, and that the connecting element (45) is fitted with at least one fastener (32) that takes up the fastening element (33).
Towel rack (1) according to claim 3, characterised by the fact that the fastener (32) is a threaded pin (35) extending away from the plane ring surface (34) of the connecting element (45), and on which the fastening element (33) is screwed.
Towel rack (1) according to claim 3, characterised by the fact that the connecting element (45) has a fastener (32) formed as a hole (36) that holds the fastening element (33).
Towel rack (1) according to claim 3, characterised by the fact that the wall (34) of the connecting element (45) has a fastener (32) formed as a slot (39) that holds the fastening element (33) formed as a bracket with approximately 2 to 4 cm width (42).
Towel rack (1) according to claim 3 and 8, characterised by the fact that the fastening element (33) is a sucking cup (40), the stud (41) of which, supported by the front side (31) of the connecting element (45), passes through the hole (36).
