Abstract

A tamper-evident lid (10) for a container, the lid comprising a sheet defining a body (14) of the lid, engagement means for engaging the lid with the container and locking means (16), connected to the body by a web (20). The locking means is moveable about the web from a first position in which the container is engaged to a second position in which the container is not engaged and in which the locking means is caused to move from the first position to the second position before the engagement means is disengaged from the container.
