Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschkabine gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
Die bekannte Duschkabine, von der die Erfindung ausgeht (DE 88 04 541 U 1), ist so ausgebildet, daß zum Ausgleich von Bautoleranzen ein Wandanschlußprofil vorgesehen ist, in dem eine Seitenwand in gewissen Toleranzen verschiebbar gehalten wird. Es handelt sich dabei um ein reines Wandanschlußprofil, mit dessen Hilfe lediglich geringe Bautoleranzen ausgeglichen werden können. Größere Verstellbereiche können mit einem derartigen Profil nicht abgedeckt werden. Dies ist auch schon von den baukonstruktiven Gegebenheiten des Profils nicht möglich, da es durch die federnde Ausbildung nur begrenzte Momente aufnehmen kann.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Duschkabine zu schaffen, deren Seitenwand über weite Bereiche einstellbar ist, so daß möglichst die gängigen Duschkabinenbreiten mit nur einer Ausführung abgedeckt werden können und dennoch eine stabile Befestigung der Seitenwand an der Wand möglich ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Die zweiteilige Ausführung der Seitenwand ermöglicht es, eine große Bandbreite abzudecken. So kann mit einem 220 mm breiten Profil und einer 700 mm breiten Scheibe der Bereich von 700 bis 900 mm abgedeckt werden. Dies erleichtert ganz entscheidend die Lagerhaltung und senkt natürlich auch die Lagerhaltungskosten. Mit einer derartigen Seitenwand können nicht nur Bautoleranzen ausgeglichen werden, sondern es ist auch Ohne weiteres eine Anpassung an nicht normgerechte Duschwannen möglich.
Die Haltegleitrippen ermöglichen eine einfache Verstellung der Scheibe im Profilteil. Die plane Ausführung der Halteschenkel trägt zum guten Aussehen der Duschkabine bei und ist reinigungsfreundlich.
Der Anbringung von Halteschalen erleichtert einerseits die rechtwinklige Ausrichtung der Seitenwand und bietet andererseits eine zuverlässige, stabile Befestigung. Zu dem ist das leidige Problem der Ablage von Badzubehörutensilien damit formschön und einfach gelöst.
Weitere Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.
Schließlich ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn eine erfindungsgemäße Seitenwand mit einer verstellbaren Fronteinstiegstür, wie sie durch die EP 0 386 276 B 1 bekannt ist, kombiniert wird. Dadurch wird eine Breitenanpassung in beiden Richtungen mit einfachen Mitteln möglich.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Eine Duschkabine 1 ist in einer Raumecke 2 gegen eine Raumseitenwand 3 und Rückwand 4 auf eine Duschwanne 5 aufgestellt. Die Duschkabine 1 ist mit einem Fronteinstieg 6, der aus zwei sich überlappenden Scheibenelementen 10, die verschiebbar über Scharniere 8 verbunden sind, besteht. Als Anschlag für das mit einem Griff 9 versehene rechte Scheibenelement 10 dient ein Eckprofil 11.
An dieses Eckprofil 11 schließt sich die zweiteilige Seitenwand 12 an. Diese Seitenwand 12 besteht aus einem Scheibenteil 13 und einem doppelschenkligen Profilteil 14. Das Profilteil 14 besteht aus zwei kastenförmigen Halteschenkeln 17, die mit nach Innen gerichteten Haltegleitrippen 16 versehen sind. Die Haltegleitrippen 16 dienen als Führung für das Scheibenteil 13.
Zur Sicherstellung eines rechtwinkligen Anschlußes an die Rückwand 4 sind auf dem inneren Halteschenkel 17 in Abständen Stabilisierungsplatten in Form von Ablageschalen 18 angebracht. Die Ablageschalen 18 sind sowohl mit den inneren Halteschenkeln 17 als auch mit der Rückwand 4 verschraubt.
Die Seitenwand 12 ist durch mehr oder weniger weites Einschieben des Scheibenteiles 13 in das Profilteil 14 über einen weiten Maßbereich anpassungsfähig. Das gleiche gilt beim Fronteinstieg 6, wo die Breitenanpassung über die Scharniere 8 und die Überlappung der Scheibenelemente 7 und 10 erfolgt. Damit können mit einem Modell Duschkabinen mit verschiedenen Außenmaßen verwirklicht werden, wobei selbst außer der Norm liegende Duschwannen Verwendung finden können.

Claims (4)

  1. Duschkabine (1) mit zumindest einer feststehenden Seitenwand (12), weiche wandseitig von zwei beabstandeten Halteschenkeln eines Profiles zum Wandanschluß umschlossen ist und zum Ausgleich von Maßtoleranzen mehr oder weniger tief zwischen diese Halteschenkel einsteckbar ist, wobei die Seitenwand (12) zweiteilig aus einem verschiebbaren Scheibenteil (13) und einem doppelschenkligen Profilteil (14) ausgeführt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Sicherstellung eines réchtwinkligen Wandanschlusses auf der Innenseite des Profilteiles wenigstens zwei, als Ablageschalen (18) ausgeformte Stabilisierungsplatten vorgesehen sind.
  2. Duschkabine nach Anspruch 1 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halteschenkel (15,17) des Profilteiles (14) kastenförmig mit paarweise nach Innen gerichteten Haltegleitrippen (16) ausgebildet sind.
  3. Duschkabine nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halteschenkel (15, 17) planparallel ausgeführt sind.
  4. Duschkabine nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Breitenverhältnis Scheibenteil (13) zu Profilteil (14) etwa 4 zu 1 beträgt.
