The frame in question is preferably made of hollow aluminum profiles manufactured. After assembling the frame using the in the Angle-shaped corner connectors provided in corner areas are normally placed in the Frame field a filling plate, for example a glass plate used. The fixation the corner connector is made by means of screws that are pre-tensioned on the miter joint act and press them together. The hollow profile sections are cut to length from rods, the length of which is, for example, six meters. This Bars are surface-treated even before the hollow profile sections are cut to length, for example anodized or color coated.
A disadvantage of the frame thus produced is that it is due to the miter cut are sharp-edged in the joining area. This gives you the option of one Injury, especially if the frames are partially open. By Inattentiveness can not only lead to bruises, but also to open wounds through this sharp edge. This applies in particular to all or part of it open furniture doors of kitchen wall cabinets that are in the head area.
To avoid this sharp-edged formation of a frame corner is already has been proposed to cut the hollow profile sections from rods that are still are not surface treated. The cut edges are then processed for example rounded and then surface treated. This surface treatment can be done before putting the frame together or by Surface treatment of the finished frame is done. It is also suggested been dismantled the finished frame and then the surface treatment again on the single frame spar
A disadvantage of the previously described methods is that the cost of the coating or anodizing is relatively high, for example because the handling is more finished Frame but also the assembly and disassembly of the frame bars with an extreme is time consuming.
When processing individual frame spars there is also the risk that the later assembled frames in the miter areas not properly closed be so that it can lead to an unclean appearance.
The invention has for its object a framework of those described in more detail at the beginning Kind in the simplest way so that the risk of injury is avoided by the sharp-edged design of the frame corners, the Manufacturing continues to be made from surface-treated hollow section bars should.
The task is solved by between the miter surfaces of two interconnected frame bars a matched to the miter surfaces Miter plate is arranged in which at least the cross to the frame plane running outer edge in cross section runs in an arc and with at least a recess for passing the corner angle is provided.
Depending on the design of the miter plate, it is now achieved that at least the outer, transverse to the frame plane in the miter area of two interconnected frame bars is arcuate. It can therefore no more injuries occur because of the cutting effect of sharp-edged Corners are avoided. The assembly of a frame is done by the Miter plates not difficult. It is also advantageous that through the use such miter plates, the corner connectors previously used are used can. Only the positions of the holes for the screws would have to be dependent be considered by the thickness of the miter plate.
The miter plate can be designed in many ways. For example, that the arc of the outer edge running transversely to the frame plane in cross section Is an arc, the radius of which is greater than the thickness of the miter plate, so that the outer surface opposite that formed from the lateral surfaces of the frame bars Levels do not protrude. That from the circular arc and the lateral surfaces The edges of the miter plate then fall with the outer surfaces of the frame bars together. In another embodiment, the arch can be transverse to The outer edge of the frame plane also has a circular arc in the cross section of the miter plate be, the radius of which is, however, half or approximately half the thickness of the Miter plate corresponds, so that the outer edges opposite the lateral surfaces the frame spars protrude. This can also have a decorative effect. Despite The overhang does not produce any sharp edges, which is also annoying when cleaning act and could lead to injuries.
According to a further embodiment it is provided that at least one of the side Edges of the miter plate in cross section also run in an arc and opposite protrudes from the frame surface. Usually only one of the side edges should be opposite project the frame surfaces, the other should be flush with the frame surfaces lie so that the flat contact of the frame on a furniture body or not obstructed by a frame. Due to the protrusion from the frame surface misalignments of the frame spars in the corner area are also invisible.
For a frame that is inserted with a fold in the form of a groove for the edge of a Filling plate is provided, it is provided that the miter plate has another, one-sided open recess for the edge of the filling plate. The miter plate is expediently made of the same material as the frame bars manufactured. It can be anodized in the same or a different color Have coating. This creates a variety of design options.
