characterised inthat the film tube (15, 25, 35, 45) is connected to the flange (13, 23, 33, 42) of the cap so that, upon application the dispensing pressure, the tube film is over-stretched and caused by the tip (19, 29, 39, 49) to burst, andthat the tip (19, 29, 39, 49) does not substantially project beyond the transverse wall (12, 22, 32, 42) when the film tube (15, 25, 35, 45) has been emptied. - The device of claim 1, wherein the tip is formed on a spike (18) extending in the axial direction of the film tube (15).
- The device of claim 2, wherein the spike (18) is arranged within a recess (16) provided in the transverse wall (12) and surrounding the dispensing opening (17).
- The device of claim 3, wherein the tip (19) of the spike is offset from the plane of the transverse wall (12) supporting the film tube (15) into the recess (16).
- The device of claim 4, wherein the height of the spike (18) is less than half the depth of the recess (16).
- The device of any preceding claim, wherein the recess (16) and the transverse wall (12) together form a substantially sharp edge.
- The device of any preceding claim, wherein the tube film and/or the surface of the transverse wall (12) supporting the film tube (15) is provided with anti-sliding means.
- The device of any one of claim 3 to 7, wherein the recess (16) has a substantially circular cross-section substantially completely surrounding the tip (19) of the spike.
- The device of claim 2 or 3, wherein the spike (18) is resiliently biased with respect to the cap (11) against the dispensing direction.
- The device of claim 1, wherein the tip (29, 39) is formed by the chamfered end of a cylindrical tube (28, 38) which is coaxial with the dispensing opening (27, 37) and extends rearwardly beyond the plane of the transverse wall (22, 32).
- The device of claim 10, wherein the tube (28, 38) is adapted to be moved by pressure in the axial direction to such an extent that its tip (29, 39) is substantially flush with the plane of the transverse wall (22, 32).
- The device of claim 11, wherein the tube (28) is integrally formed on the cap (21) at an intended breaking location (26).
- The device of claim 11, wherein the tube (38) is resiliently biased with respect to the cap (31) against the dispensing direction.
- The device of claim 9 or 13, wherein the resilient force is so designed that the tip (19, 39) notches the tube film when the dispensing pressure is exerted but recedes when abutted by a dispensing piston.
- The device of claim 1, wherein the tip (49) is provided at the end of a lever (48) which is formed integrally with the cap (41) and extends at angle with respect thereto.
